Syftet med denna studie är att studera vad det diskuteras om i den mediala debatten kring den kulturutredning som lades fram den 12.e februari i år, 2009. Sedan utredningen lagt fram sina förslag till en ny kulturpolitik har diskussionerna varit livliga i media och ofta har de genomsyrats av hård kritik. Diskussionerna baseras många gånger på utredningens förslag om en myndighetssammanslagning och decentralisering av kulturarbetet. Genom studien görs begrepp så som mångfald och kvalitet sig gällande men framförallt berörs aspekter som har med styrning och kommersialism att göra. Materialet som studiens analys baseras på är insamlat från Sveriges största riksstäckande tidningar, Aftonbladet, Dagens nyheter, Expressen och Sveriges dagblad.

The view on which kind of fiction that should be mediated to the public through the Swedish public library system has since the late 60´s been dominated by what in this Master?s thesis is called: ´the discourse on quality of literary fiction´. The aim of this thesis is to examine to which extent this discourse still plays an active role in the Swedish public library system or if that discourse has been replaced by a more market-led, demand responsive view, where the features of ´quality´ and ´culture´ have been downplayed and replaced by a ´customer?s service view´ on how and why fiction should be mediated to the public. The methodological and theoretical perspective in this thesis is led by the understanding of the discourse analysis in Michel Foucault?s ´The Archaeology of Knowledge´.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate and increase the understanding of a present function of today´s public library, namely the function of meeting place; here called the social function or social space. Two small town libraries are included in the study, and the questions examined are:How is this function described at the two libraries and what similarities and differences are there between the two? How can one describe the relation between how the library as social space is described in research and at the libraries? The theoretical framework used in examining these questions, consists of three different discourses in culture policy (the discourse of state, market and civil society) and theories on civil society and the public library. A summary of current research makes visible eight different aspects of the public library as a social space. These aspects functions as parts of the theoretical framework as well.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the view of literature within Swedish governmental cultural policy. The main issue is to discover changes in attitude towards democracy, literature and library by comparing the attitudes in the governmental policy documents from the 1970s with the governmental policy documents from the 1990s. The theoretical starting point is Danish cultural policy researcher Dorte Skot-Hansens theories of the development of cultural policy in the Nordic countries. My method of analysis is a textual one, analysis of ideas and ideology, focusing on the aspect of signification of a text. The study has an effort of analysing the governmental policy in terms of idea and ideology.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine the roles ofthree different public libraries in three differentcommunities. In order to get some answers about the roles ofthe public libraries I have used the following questions: Howis the local cultural policy formulated? How is the locallibrary structured? What or which profiles has the publiclibraries in the three communities?I have made three qualitative case-studies in three differentcommunities. These three communities are somewhatlocated in the same area in order to identify any cooperationbetween them.

The study aims to increase understanding and knowledge of motivation; this by examining how the leader experiences her capability to promote employees' work motivation. Also, how employees perceive that the leader influence and enhance their work motivation. Interviews were conducted with a manager and two employees of a government agency in Sweden. The results demonstrate different opinions between manager and employees in the manager's ability to foster motivation in the everyday work. The leader thinks that she promotes her employees work positively and believes that she is giving her employees attention and appreciation.

Hoten är många i ett informationssäkerhetssystem och det är viktigt att ha fungerande säkerhetslösningar. Övergripande för en fungerande säkerhet är en informationssäkerhetspolicy. I informationssäkerhetspolicyn står de övergripande målen som organisationen har för säkerheten. Det är viktigt att ledningen tydligt klargör vad som gäller inom organisationen. Det räcker inte att bara ha en informationssäkerhetspolicy utan ledningen måste se till så att de anställda också har en hög säkerhetsmedvetenhet.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the attitudes towards the labour movement?s strategies, goals and organisational issues in Swedish Miners? Union?s (Gruvindustriarbetareförbundet, hereafter Gruv) paper, Gruvarbetaren 1917-1925.The theoretical starting point is Engels? view on the class state. This perspective turns the question of socialism and the way to get there into an issue of working class power over the state. Another theoretical perspective is the partition of the labour movement into a trade-unionistic branch, seeing unions as financial organisations of interest, and a pro-state one, considering unions as political organisations.During the period investigated Gruvarbetaren was quite radical and advocated a firm class struggle strategy towards employers. Since these were considered unreliable, class struggle was seen as the only way to better the conditions for the working class.

Projects is the most common work model within the cultural area, but what is a cultural project? The definition of cultural projects is ambiguous. There are also no compiled information about what it means for culture to be pursued in project form. Scientific research about traditional project management and success criterias are wide-ranging. So is the scientific research about cultural studies and cultural policy.

With the Culture Survey 2009, the Cultural policy in Sweden has got a new direction. The new direction emphasises the importance of broadening the non-public funding for the cultural sector. The new direction opens up new phenomenon to establish themselves in Sweden. Crowdfunding is such a phenomenon. Crowdfunding is an online-method "by which the individual becomes financiers of projects and activities they have passion for" (Jakten pa? medborgarfinansiering, 11).

I Sverige råder fortfarande boplikt för landshövdingar, vilken avskaffats i alla andra nordiska länder. Den innebär att landshövdingar är tvungna att bo i de fastigheter som anvisas dem av regeringen, vilket i 20 fall av 21 är länsresidens. En förmån på pappret som kan bli kostsam i praktiken. Svenska länsstyrelser lägger sammanlagt nästan 28 miljoner kronor varje år på hyra för residensen.Regeringen står bakom de villkor som finns gällande landshövdingars tjänstebostäder och har inga planer på att förändra dem för närvarande. Det ansvariga statsrådet Stefan Attefall tycker att landshövdingarnas boplikt i residens fyller en viktig funktion ur ett representativt perspektiv, medan Hans Mildenberger på Enheten för statlig förvaltning, hänvisar till symbolvärdet i att ha landshövdingar boende i länsresidens.Men alla är inte lika övertygade om relevansen i landshövdingarnas residensboende.

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur en icke-statlig organisation i Tanzania arbetar med genusfrågor och hur dessa frågor på olika sätt påverkar organisationens medlemmar. Detta är en samhällsvetenskaplig studie med en kvalitativ ansats. I en fältstudie i Rorya distriktet, Tanzania, har sju fokusgrupper med småskaliga bönder intervjuats. Det empiriska materialet har kopplats till relevant litteratur om genus och jämställdhetsfrågor. Uppsatsen har lett till slutsatser som på flera sätt visar på en positiv trend i organisationens jämställdhetsarbete.

Sweden of today is a so-called multicultural society. In this thesis we wanted to examine how mono, multi- and intercultural issues are expressed in culture-political documents. We also wanted to know how librarians for whom these documents are supposed to be guidelines expressed themselves in these matters. Monoculturalism can be described as a static perspective laid upon culture which emphasises cultural purity. A multicultural society describes a society were the nation consists of many different cultures alongside each other, without a genuinely common core.

Syftet i studien var att undersöka vilken påverkan socialt stöd har på arbetstillfredsställelsen. Till detta undersöktes även vilken påverkan ålder, kön, utbildningsnivå, anställningsform och arbetet i grupp har på arbetstillfredsställelsen. Resultatet analyserades mot Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori om arbetstillfredsställelse. Resultatet beräknades med hjälp av Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) och bygger på en enkätundersökning (n=136) med hjälp av bekvämlighetsurval i en statlig myndighet. Regressions- och korrelationsanalyser av data användes.

Syftet med den här undersökningen är att göra en undersökning kring grundskollärare som undervisar i samhällsorienterade ämnen från årskurs 2 till 9 och hur de resonerar kring individuella utvecklingsplaner, skriftliga omdömen och formativ bedömning samt korrelationen mellan dessa. Syftet är även att se hur dessa resonemang överensstämmer med Skollagen och för att utröna vilka utvecklingsmöjligheter som finns inom området. Resultaten visar att lärarna upplever en brist på ledning från Skolverkets håll hur dessa dokument ska användas samt hur dessa är utformade. Pedagogerna upplever också att det kan behövas en statlig standardisering i dokumenten för att utöka och tydliggöra elevdokumentationen samt utveckla och förbättra de formativa funktionerna i dessa dokument. Resultaten pekar på att lärarnas attityder och uppfattningar om IUP, skriftliga omdömen och formativ bedömning stämmer väl överens med Skollagen (Utbildningsdepartementet, 2010)..
