Den kraftiga ökningen av bredbandsuppkopplade hem världen över har lett till ett stort användande av s.k. webradio. Miljontals användare lyssnar dagligen på de tiotusentals tillgängliga webradioStationerna. Webradio är ett sätt att via Internet och TCP/IP sända radio. Oftast används de populära MP3-formatet men nya bättre standarder håller på att etableras.

Urban planning is not only a matter of architectural trends; it is first and foremost political. This thesis seeks to understand the links between political ideas and visions for the city and the physical structure of the city. The study aims to construct a model to help understand these links, a helpful tool in analysing a city, focusing on the one hand at the physical structure of what I call "The City as a Welfare Provider" and on the other hand at "The City as a Growth Engine". It also sets out to test this model in an empirical study of Stockholm and the soon-to-be built district of Norra Station in the same city.The analysis shows that Stockholm has ambitions to be a welfare provider to its citizens, but have also adopted to a discourse of interurban competition which stresses the importance for the city to enhance economical growth. What is interesting is that the physical structures promoted in the planning documents of Stockholm are nearly exclusively those associated with the model of "The City as a Growth Engine"..

De har även utvecklat Edge som är ett publiceringsverktyg för enkel publicering av webbsidor.Under 2005 kommer en lokalTV?kanal att startas av Norrköpings tidningar som ett komplement till morgontidning och webb.

Detta examensarbete är resultatet av en utredning av tvättning och rengöring av produkter som tillverkas på Volvo Construction Equipment Components AB i Eskilstuna. Arbetet är uppdelat på två huvudområden, tvättning i processen samt slutgiltig renhet. Skillnaderna mellan dessa är framförallt att det finns fastställda krav på den slutgiltiga renheten för artiklarna men en motsvarande märkning saknas för de olika tillverkningsstegen. Idag tvättas ungefär 70% av TMAs artiklar i en central tvättStation. I och med detta uppstår en hel del problem med ledtider och kvalitet.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att titta på och eventuellt upptäcka vissa samband mellan de vanligaste klimatparametrarna (lufttemperatur, sol, vind, luftfuktighet och lufttryck) och inomhusklimatet. Inomhusklimatet är i detta arbete det samma som luftens temperatur inomhus.Även en sammanställning av två studier kring NordIQ?s styrning av värmesystemet och tappvarmvattnet görs. En stor del av arbetet har varit att sammanställa och studera insamlad data från bland annat en väderStation.Under den här perioden (våren) är det solen och utomhustemperaturen som har störst påverkan på temperaturen inomhus. En stor del inom energisektorn idag handlar om att använda energin effektivare och minska på utsläppen. Förhoppningen är att detta arbete ska kunna hjälpa till i den riktningen. Att utnyttja gratisenergin och dra ner på t.ex.

This essay is a time-geographic study of workinglife mobilities and investigates two days of work for five respondents. One from home and the other from the persons workingplace. Qualitative and quantitative methods has been applied to illustrate and analyze the two days along with time-geographic constraints. The findings are concluded into themes which represent the two local pockets of order: Home and Workplace. Themes of home are: Comfort Station, Household, Curtained-off, Tele-contact and Environment.

Toxic metals contaminate soil worldwide and thus serve as sever environmental threat. Therefore the purposes of this study were to investigate in which soil fractions that different heavy metals (Fe, As, Cu, Zn and Pb) could be found in contaminated soils and if it is possible to use sieving as a method for decontamination. Soil samples were collected from three different locations, the Nasa silver mine, the Blaiken-mine and Svalget environmental Station. The samples were oven dried and later on sieved into six different fractions 8mm, 4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.250mm, 0.063 mm and <0.063 mm. The fractions 4 mm, 0.5 mm and <0.063 mm from each location were analyzed in an x-ray fluorescence detector.

In this thesis a possible cost effective runner change of some of the units in the hydroelectric power Station Olidan is investigated. The possibility to drive a unit at the same efficiency point through a change of the turbine shaft speed and the rate of discharge is tested. Furthermore the theories behind model testing, determination of efficiency increase from model to prototype and efficiency measurements shall be discussed and analyzed with Olidan as a starting point.A predicted curve has been built on information from model tests and field measurements on the existing runners and runner data from the test of the new model. The predicted curve shows the difference in efficiency between an existing runner and a modern one. It is the difference in efficiency that is used in the calculations that are to show whether changing to a pair of new runners will be cost effective or not.

One of today problem at IVT industries would be assembly of insulation on water cisterns. The element of assembly insulation on the cistern gets too elevated; hence one has to climb onto the stand the cistern is assembly on. This will increase the risk of work related injuries when there is a risk of falling down. It?s also rather strenuous on shoulders due to work with your arms high above your head.

Abstract:Ambulance nurses have in their everyday work a varied work environment, the pace of work can quickly shift from being calm and structured to be a severe acute situation.Objective: The aim of the study was to describe how professional nurses in the ambulance operations experience their physical and mental work environment in daily practice.Method: A qualitative interview study with semi structured questions was used. The study group consisted of two women and three men, ages between 27?42 years. The study was carried out on an ambulance Station in central Sweden. Based on collected data, a qualitativecontent analysis was performed that resulted in three categories.Results: The result showed that the ambulance nurses regarded that it was a lot of heavy lifting.

This master thesis was made to validate hydropower models of a turbine governor,Kaplan turbine and a Francis turbine in the power system simulator ARISTO atSvenska Kraftnät. The validation was made in three steps. The first step was to makesure the models was implement correctly in the simulator. The second was tocompare the simulation results from the Kaplan turbine model to data from a realhydropower plant. The comparison was made to see how the models could generatesimulation result that was similar to the reference power Station.

The purpose of this study is to see how five different local radio Stations, P4, within the public service organization Sveriges Radio communicate with their listeners through Facebook and how they differ from each other.We have also studied how the radio Stations follow Sveriges Radios? policies for socialmedia usage and how the communication through Facebook can benefit thetraditional radio. Our study contains a combination of quantitative content analysis with qualitative interviews. We studied the five Stations? Facebook pages from for the quantitative content analysis and interviewed those who were responsible for the social media pages, such as web editors and channel managers.Our conclusions are that the P4-Stations communicate through Facebook to create a dialogue with the listeners and to reach two-way communication; the Stations published mostly written updates that encouraged interactivity.

Syfte och frågeställningStudiens syfte är att, utifrån NyTidstestet, undersöka elevers grovmotoriska grundfärdigheter i årskurs 6 i Stockholmsområdet.Utifrån detta syfte har vi valt att använda oss av följande frågeställning:- Hur ser de grovmotoriska färdigheterna ut för elever i årskurs 6, när de bedöms enligt NyTidstestet?- Vilka skillnader framkommer, hos eleverna, mellan de undersökta Stationerna?MetodFrågeställningen har besvarats genom en observationsstudie på sjätteklassare i Stockholmsområdet, sammanlagt 113 elever. Varje elev har observerats utifrån NyTidstestets observationsschema, där eleverna vid sju Stationer bedömts enligt fyra kriterier: "mycket tillfredställande", "tillfredställande", "små brister" och "stora brister". Varje Station innehåller en eller två grovmotoriska grundformer.ResultatDe undersökta elevernas grovmotoriska färdigheter är bristande. Hela 48 procent av övningarna kunde inte utföras på ett tillfredställande eller mycket tillfredställande sätt.SlutsatsUndersökningen visar att eleverna får en allt sämre grovmotorik och i och med den nya läroplanen (Lgr 11) tror vi inte att elevernas grovmotoriska färdigheter kommer att bli bättre.

Bakgrund Dagens samhälle ställer allt större krav på den enskilde individen att bidra till ett hållbart samhälle, där återvinning av förbrukade material är en del. Samtidigt talas om tillgänglighet för alla individer i samhället och lika rättigheter.Syfte Studien syftar till att undersöka hur förutsättningarna i miljön ser ut vid återvinnings-/miljöStationer för rullstolsburna i Örebro Kommun.Undersökningsmetod En observationsstudie av miljöfaktorer har gjorts utifrån egen utarbetad checklista med grund i bland annat bedömningsinstrumentet Housing Enabler samt rekommenderade mått från svensk lagstiftning angående byggnormer för tillgänglighet. Urvalet skedde genom bekvämlighetsurval.Resultat Observationerna av återvinnings-/miljöStationerna indelades i åtta kategorier, utifrån typ av Station. De hinder som observerades var för höga/låga kärl, otillräckligt manöverutrymme, hindrande trösklar/trottoarkanter, tunga dörrar utan automatik och tunga lock/luckor på återvinningskärlen.Slutsats Samtliga observerade återvinnings-/miljöStationer innefattade miljöhinder för rullstolsburna vilket påverkar möjligheten till självständig återvinning. .
