Rapportens syfte är att undersöka vilka krav som ställs på programvaran till framtidens mobila terminaler och de möjligheter som kommer att finnas för denna. Detta inkluderar en liten undersökning om vad vi kan vänta oss för terminaler och vilken funktionalitet som dessa kan komma att ha. Eftersom det är svårt att ge en bild av hur de kommer att se ut har jag mest koncentrerat mig på att hitta lösningar som skall fungera oberoende av hur de mobila terminalerna utvecklas, naturligtvis inom vissa gränser. Detta innebär i realiteten att programlogik och beräkningar ligger på en server och att sedan bara användargränssnittet med kommunikation finns på den mobila terminalen. Rapporten går djupare in på WAP plattformen och sakerna runt denna eftersom detta är den i dagsläget bästa och mest accepterade specifikation för hur man skall göra programvara till mobila terminaler.

I enlighet med postkoloniala teorier visar undersökningen hur reportagen bär spår av eurocentrism, alltså idén att så kallade västerländska normer är bättre än andra normer, i detta fall muslimska. Reportagen reproducerar även stereotypa uppfattningar av i synnerhet personer med anknytning till muslimska partier. Det framstår även som trovärdigt att dramaturgiska grepp förstärker behoven av dessa förenklingar. Under året förändrades tonläget i reportagen.

Genom de omarbetade direktiven, 2004/18/EG (klassiska direktivet) och 2004/17/EG (försörjningsdirektivet), har det tillkommit nya regleringar beträffande offentlig upphandling. De nya direktiven har till syfte att förbättra regelsystemet för att bättre uppnå syftet med lagstiftningen om offentlig upphandling. I båda direktiven har det tillkommit bestämmelser om användningen av ramavtal samt bestämmelser om de båda nya tilldelningsförfarandena elektronisk auktion och dynamiska inköpssystem. I det klassiska direktivet har det tillkommit ett nytt upphandlingsförfarande, konkurrenspräglad dialog. I dessa nya bestämmelser i de konsoliderade direktiven om offentlig upphandling kommer regleringar som bl a innehåller skrivningen att de upphandlande enheterna inte får använda det aktuella förfarandet på ett sätt som hindrar, begränsar eller snedvrider konkurrensen.Denna skrivning tycks vara hämtad från konkurrensbegränsningsreglerna i artikel 81 och 82 i EG-fördraget.

Då globaliseringen av världens länder är mer utbredd än någonsin och fri rörlighet av kapital, varor och arbetskraft existerar mellan många europeiska länder finns det stora möjligheter för internationella företag. Allt fler företag väljer att etablera sig utanför sin inhemska marknad, och för dessa finns inte bara möjligheter utan även ytterligare risker som måste hanteras. Valutarisk är en av de risker som företagen måste beakta då de etablerar verksamheter utanför hemlandet.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka risker som stora svenska företagen med verksamhet på flera marknader är utsatta för, och hur företagen väljer att arbeta för att hantera dessa. Vi vill sedan jämföra hur det ser ut i verkligheten med vad teorin säger om området. En del av vårt syfte har varit att utreda om den pågående ekonomiska krisen har påverkat graden av riskexponering, och om företagen tar till ytterligare åtgärder eller alternativa metoder för att hantera detta.Vi har i vår studie valt att använda oss av en kvalitativ metod och genomfört den i form av djupgående telefonintervjuer med de studerade företagen Lindab och Sandvik.
