This thesis provides a systematic literature review of a selection among current papers andarticles on Green Information Systems (IS). The main focus is on the current state of Green ISin academic research. This study aims at gaining a deeper understanding and a clearer view ofthe state-of-the-art of IS for environmental sustainability research, with the goal of clarifyingthe diffuse idea of what Green IT/IS is, and what differentiates Green IS from Green IT.To support the objective of this study, the articles selected for data analysis were collected byusing a systematic literature review as research and analytical method. Within the thesis, adescriptive angle with an interpretative character is used to analyse the data extracted.A theoretical framework based on concepts from sustainability, Green IS and Green IT isemployed in order to analyse and compare terminologies and frameworks used in the studiedarticles. Furthermore, the different dimensions of sustainability and the various terms used todescribe Green IS are analysed comparatively.The result and analysis are discussed in a conclusion confirming the on-going ambiguity ofthe terms Green IT and Green IS and the transformative power of IS.

Lars Levi Læstadius (1800-1861) var en stor och viktig människa. Han är ihågkommen och mycket omskriven. Læstadius var en aktiv nykterhetskämpe, botaniker och älskad präst. The new Library Act came in force in January 2014, external changes such as globalization and information technologies had changes the way libraries work and the new law aimed to reflect this. The aim of this study is to examine ideas surrounding the mission of the public library as it appears in the referral statements that three state agencies and three interest organizations gave to the ministry publications series Ds 2012:13. The questions this thesis examines are: what ideas can be discerned in the respond-ents' opinion regarding public library's mission? How is the con-sultation bodies? way of looking at public library's mission to-wards the government's approach? In this thesis the empirical ma-terial has been analyzed using a theoretical model called The four spaces ? a new model for the public library designed by Casper Hvenegaard Rasmussen, Henrik Jochumsen and Dorte Skot-Hansen. The model consists of four different goals and four differ-ent spaces and can be used as a basis for discussions about the public libraries role in society.

North Korea is considered to be the most autocratic dictatorship in the world today. Its citizens are denied their most basic human rights and North Koreas ambition to pursue nuclear weapons is looked upon with great fear from the international community and the US in particular. Some experts say that the threat from North Korea is far greater than the one possessed by Saddam Hussein. Although North Korea seems to inhabit all the necessary criteria for an US military intervention the United States has openly declared its diplomatic ambitions with the state. Why?With the use of realist and social construction theory this study will bring clarity to why the United States prefers diplomacy instead of a military intervention.

Today many children and youths are allocated to ?The Swedish Authority of Child and Youth Psychiatry (BUP) for the sake of being investigated by means of a neuropsychiatric inquire and many of which are assigned the diagnosis ADHD. During recent years ?The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare? has declared, in it?s annual account of the current psychiatric state of Swedish Children and Youths, that the healthcare provided for those with neuropsychiatric diagnoses ? such as Asperger syndrome and ADHD, has increased.ADHD is short for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which implies neuropsychiatric impediments i.e. hyper activity, inadvertence and an inability to control impulses.The aim of the Study is to describe and analyze how youth, in the age range of sixteen to eighteen years of age, diagnosed with ADHD define themselves, their daily life, their social state, their next to kin relationships and, finally, their concept of their future.The Study is qualitative.

The aim of this paper is to expand the debate on globalization and its consequences from a theoretical perspective emphasizing social processes of exclusion and inclusion. I explore these social processes in dialogue with the Spanish social movement for the rights of irregular immigrants. The paper also aims to explore new forms of resistance in the context of globalization."The declinist thesis" argues that globalization has lead to a declining importance of the nation-state and the national citizenship as guarantees of rights. "The anti-declinist thesis" oppose to this picture arguing that rights still depend on national policies. I also discuss the functions of exclusion and inclusion inherited in the concepts of citizenship and nation-state.I outline the historical and political context of the movement and explore the ideas and organizational dimensions of the movement's "knowledge praxis".I conclude that national citizenship - in a broader sense as a description of the relationship between the individual and the state - seems to play a crucial role in the life situation and the possibilities of irregular migrants to organize and protest.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur fantasy kan användas för att öka elevers läsförståelse. Min uppsats är teoretisk på så sätt att jag inte har gjort någon empirisk undersökning. Jag har istället använt mig av läsförståelseundersökningar, litteratur om läsning samt genomfört en litteraturanalys av Tolkiens Härskarringen. De undersökningar jag använt mig av, PISA-undersökningen från 2009 och IEA:s undersökning om läsförståelse, visar att pojkar generellt har sämre läsförståelse, framförallt på de berättande texterna, och därför har jag valt att fokusera på fantasy, som är en genre som Olin-Scheller (2006) i sin undersökning kommit fram till att pojkar föredrar. Pojkars sämre läsförståelse kan förstås som vilken läsarroll de intar vid läsningen, ett uttryck från Appleyard som Olin-Scheller använder sig av för att förklara elevers läsning. Då högre läsförståelse kräver att läsaren intar rollen som tolkare, har jag i min analys av Tolkiens Härskarringen gått in i den rollen och visat på de delar i verken som en lärare skulle kunna lyfta fram för eleverna. Eftersom pojkar inte lika ofta når upp till rollen som tolkare och därför avvisar texter som kräver den rollen vill jag visa hur de kan stanna i den genre de trivs med (här kommer motivationsaspekten in) och ändå utveckla sina läsarroller.

Opioidplåster avsedda för humant bruk används idag även för smärtlindring av djur eftersom det inte finns några registrerade veterinärmediciniska opioidplåster. För humant bruk finns plåster innehållande fentanyl och buprenorfin. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att granska studier i farmakokinetik och dynamik för att undersöka den vetenskapliga grunden för användningen av opioidplåster till djurslagen hund, katt och häst. Plåster kan vara ett sätt att administrera läkemedel transdermalt till den systemiska cirkulationen. Avsikten med plåster är att uppnå jämna koncentrationer i plasma (steady state) som varar under den tid som plåstret finns på plats, vanligen 72 h för människa. Vid användningen av fentanylplåster uppnåddes steady state hos människa efter 14 h.

Arvika Fjärrvärme AB, a district heating company from Arvika, today cover 74 % of their total energy production with biofuel wich runs a 16 MW bioler giving process water at saturated liquid state.In recent years Vaporel AB has introduced a new tecnique that gives an external generation of steam after boilers. The concept is built on an adiabatic pressure drop of the saturated liquid in a so called Flashbox which makes a small part of the liquid to evaporate. The generated steam is lead into a turbine where electricity is in a conventional manner.The purpose with this rapport was to do a basic study for the specific system at Arvika where it?s possible to see the potential production of electricity that follows an installation of a flasbox.The final goal was to introduce an economic analysis of a flashox installation at given conditions.To reach our goals we have created a model in Excel where we used the given conditions at Arvika Fjärrvärme to do our calculations. The model has been tested at three different states, of process water returning to potboiler, to be able to decide the optimal operation for the system at present.The studies have resulted in a pressure of the processwater at 14,5 bar (at) and a pressuredrop to 9,5 bar (at) in the flashbox.

The purpose of this essay was to study some selected magazine articles by examining how the concept of child poverty is produced in the public debate, and to see if the definition of the term has changed over time. The theoretical approach on which this study is based has been used as a tool to provide better understanding on the subject. Furthermore, theories of consumer society, the "collateral damage" and the theory of welfare regimes have been used. In the previous research presented in the paper focuses on linking children and families living in precarious economic conditions, consumer standards and welfare systems that characterize society.This study has a qualitative approach as it attempts to capture and increase understanding of how the concept of child poverty can be understood from a Swedish context. The study is based on newspaper articles that are studied using a structural text analysis.

The Security Council?s resolution 1325 addressed the major negative impact that armed conflict has on women and children. This in turn complicates the Council?s work on maintaining international peace and security. The resolution therefore highlights women?s rights as participants in peace- and conflict processes.
