This paper aims to examine how the beginning of newly examined teacher?s professional life might look like and also highlight the obstacles that might occur during the induction, the time during which the student becomes the teacher. The paper also discusses what support that is available for newly examined teachers in schools concerning the possibility to have a mentor and a period of introduction.A qualitative method was used for this study and interviews were made with new teachers who shared their experiences from the beginning of their careers. The results from the interviews were also discussed from the points of view of the study?s theories concerning different leadership styles.Two handbooks for new teachers, aiming to support them in their new professional role were compared.

Today many industrial companies invest a lot of resources on research and development to resist the tough competition on the global market. This leads to a high risk game when the companies start many development projects, with uncertain outcome where some of the projects have to be terminated prematurely. The main purpose with this study is to identify factors, both internal and external, that influence the decision to terminate projects prematurely in Swedish development projects. Factors mentioned in the literature will be compared with case studies on three Swedish industrial companies to demonstrate the most important ones when taking such decisions. First a literature study was made to identify basic terms, a general project model and factors affecting the decision.

För att arbeta i den nya gymnasieskolan som träder i kraft i höst (2011) är det viktigt att sätta sig in i de förändringar som reformen innebär. Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att reda ut vilka de största nyheterna i den nya gymnasieskolan är. Detta har analyserats utifrån ett utbildningshistoriskt perspektiv för att ge förändringarna ett större sammanhang och utifrån ett livslångt lärandeperspektiv för att se hur den nya gymnasieskolan ska bli en del av elevernas livslånga lärande. Analysen har gjorts genom studier av dokument på den politiska nivån och den operationaliserande nivån, där bland annat Skolverkets publiceringar ingår. Även utbildningshistorisk litteratur och litteratur och artiklar kring livslångt lärande har studerats för att sätta förändringarna i ett större perspektiv.

Information technology development has in recent decades had a major impact on retailing.Discount supermarket chains began to offer customers the possibility to shop without therequirement to do this over the counter, instead the customer could help themselves buyingthe products they wanted. Retailing today has an even greater focus on the self service in thesupermarkets, recently many retailing chains has introduced self-checkout systems toincrease the profits and reduce staffing requirements. In the 1960?s the start for today's ecommercewas founded, however the development took off 30 years later in the beginning of1990. During the first years of 2000 the consumption on the Internet increased rapidly.

Every day consumers are bombarded with different marketing messages from all possible directions. At the same time consumers starts to actively and consciously avoid these messages. Therefore, marketers have to start thinking outside the box and find new ways to get consumers' attention. One of these methods is called guerilla marketing. The strength of guerilla marketing is its way to be unexpected and unusual.

Sjuksköterskeutbildningen har sedan dess start i mitten av 1800-talet utvecklats från att ha varit en rent praktiskt inriktad yrkesutbildning till en mer teoretiskt inriktad högskoleutbildning. Denna utveckling har fortsatt vilket innebär att klyftan mellan teori och praktik har ökat ytterligare.Mot denna bakgrund är syftet med uppsatsen att undersöka vilka krav på lärande den nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskan upplever i den situation hon står inför, när hon med en huvudsaklig teoretisk utbildning möter den kliniska praktiken, samt att analysera hur sjuksköterskorna kan stödjas i att hantera situationen. Utifrån vårt syfte har vi valt att utföra en empirisk undersökning, där vi har intervjuat sju sjuksköterskor från Helsingborgs lasarett. Den kvalitativa ansatsen föll naturligt då vi sökte en djupare förståelse för sjuksköterskorna och deras situation.I vår undersökning kommer vi fram till att det är svårt för nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor att ta sig an de krav på kompetens som yrket ställer. För att klara av situationen behöver de stöd och handledning både från Helsingborgs lasarett och från arbetskamraterna.

Inledning: Syftet med denna studie är att, utifrån ett insamlat material vid S:t Lukas mottagningar i Stockholmsområdet, undersöka symptomförändring från start till avslutning i psykodynamiskt inriktade psykoterapier.Frågeställningar: Den övergripande frågeställningen är om patienter och terapeuter bedömer att terapierna haft någon effekt och i så fall vilken. Vidare om bakgrundsfaktorer och självbild påverkat symptombelastningen.Metod: Studien har genomförts med hjälp av självskattningsformulär som fyllts i före och efter behandling. Patienterna har fyllt i Symptom Checklist (SCL-90) och terapeuterna ett frågeformulär där de skattat patienternas besvär. Efter inomgruppsjämförelser har jämförelser gjorts med ett normerings-material.Resultat: Det sker en signifikant symptomlindring under terapierna. Störst är förändringen när det gäller depression, ångest och interpersonell sensitivitet samt i det sammantagna genomsnittsvärdet.

Företagssköterskan kommer ofta i kontakt med människor i samband medhälsoundersökningar med ogynnsam livsstil för sitt mående. Ökad kunskap kring detta områdekan vägleda och stödja företagssköterskan och företagshälsovården att utveckla strategier för attstödja individen till hälsa.Syftet med denna kvalitativa intervjustudie var att belysa personers upplevelse avföretagshälsovårdens hälsoundersökning som haft betydelse för livsstilsförändring.Urvalskriterierna var en genomförd hälsoundersökning hos företagshälsovården utförd avföretagssköterska och gjorda livsstilsförändringar. Analysen resulterade i två teman med fyrakategorier och åtta underkategorier. De två teman som framkom var ?Att bli bemött medintresse och omtanke? och ?Att få veta sin ohälsa och få en start till förändring?.Studiens resultat visade att företagssköterskans bemötande och stöd hade avgörande betydelsesamt att få kännedom om sina värden.

Amning av för tidigt födda barn är komplext eftersom barnet är omoget och mer svårtolkat jämfört med fullgångna barn. Att barnet föds för tidigt kan innebära en känslomässig påfrestning för hela familjen och att uppnå en fungerande amning ställer stora krav på mödrarna.Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva mödrars erfarenheter av att amma sina för tidigt födda barn efter hemkomst.Kvalitativ metod användes med intervjuer som insamlingsmetod. Tio intervjuer av mödrar till för tidigt födda barn genomfördes. Barnen var födda mellan vecka 33+5 och vecka 35+4, alla hade varit inskrivna på neonatalavdelning och därefter neonatal hemvård. Intervjuerna transkriberades och texten analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

In my thesis I have chosen to examine pre-school from a gender perspective, focusing on the current norms of society that are also influencing pre-school. My thesis is written in the form of an essay, which means that reflections are a substantial part, and writing has become a part of my process of learning. My thesis originates in three different situations that I have experienced during the years I have been working in the pre-school. These situations show how I, as a pre-school educator, unconsciously am a part of creating norms, patterns and gender. The curriculum of the pre-school has been the basis of this thesis, and an important part has been to interpret what the mission of pre-school is in practice.I start by explaining the concepts of sex, gender and norms, and continue by describing how preschool can be viewed as an institution preserving the norms.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the kind of treatment strategies used by Swedish Veterinarians with cattle practice when treating calves with symptoms of pneumonia. A questionnaire, consisting of seven questions, was sent to one hundred veterinarians who have had practice with cattle and are employed by the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The survey was answered by a total of 73% of the Veterinarians. Of the respondents, 73 % use Penicillins as their first choice of drug for treating calves with symptoms of pneumonia, and as their second choice 64 % use Tetracycline. Supplementary treatment such as NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and/or SAID (steroid anti-inflammatory drugs) are used by 97.5 % of the respondents.

 During our education time, we have heard on several occasions how the high changing rate in the society also influences the education area. That changing process mainly originates from the transform that a school underwent, i.e. the decentralization meaning a delegation of responsibility from a national to local government and the particular school. The main idea that started a changing process goes under the slogan ?a school for everyone?.

This essay studies how advertisements in various anti-smoking campaigns can influence and persuade by using anti-logos as counter-arguments to the tobacco industry's logos. In contrast to tobacco advertising arguments such as freedom (logos), pleasure (pathos) and trademark (ethos) the anti-smoking campaigns create anti-logos arguments with various connotations such as repulsive pictures and sexual implications to influence groups of people not to start smoking or to quit smoking.Advertisement of tobacco does not exist nowadays due to legal restrictions in the western world; however several decades of myths created in the consumer consciousness still exist. Thus one can speak of a tobacco advertising ideology that exists and the various anti-smoking campaigns trying to change that ideology.The purpose of anti-smoking campaigns is to conduct a kategoria of myth that tobacco advertisement has created over the years. Anti smoking organizations do this by creating a new ideology to affect consumer?s attitude toward smoking and the tobacco myth with an anti-myth.

Litorapid Media AB is a printer and prepresscompany, located on Hisingen, Gothenburg. Litorapid is a relatively large company, and is therefore in great need of convenient contacts with becoming and present customers. Seeing that they work with the most rescent technique in the branch of printing, it is important that they market themselves in a modern way. The purpose with this project became, for that reason, to create a more contemporary home page for the company to catch new customers, as well as aninteractive presentation of the company to create a more personal contact with customers they alreay have. The home page was created in the programme Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, and its design is based on previouly distributed brochures.

This thesis describes the redesign ofequipment designed for drying bags thatis used in Fresenius Kabis´manufacturing of their nutritionmedicine in Uppsala. The need of thistask arise during the start of thedevelopment of a new packaging line werethis equipment were meant to be used. Anevaluation of the bagdryers capacity andcapability was necessary.The work started with gathering ofinformation from suppliers of the usedcomponents and from the responsibleengineers for this equipment. Aneducation to learn how the equipmentworked and how to operate it were taken.That was followed by the creation of astudy plan were the tests were plannedto test different parameters effect onthe drying result and to see if thebagdryer managed to handle the bags ofthe correct format in the pace that theequipment should be designed for.The test results detected a need ofdesigning a unit with a function thatholds the bags in place while passingthrough the dryer in order to attainhigh quality results. The results werelater used for optimization of thedesign.
