Banverket är den myndighet som har ansvaret för järnvägstransportsystemet i Sverige och är enproducent av järnvägsinformation. En stor del av infrastrukturinformationen lagras i baninformationssystemetBIS och Banverket är förpliktad att tillhandahålla den. I nuläget är informationenåtkomlig på ett lätt sätt främst internt. Dessutom ställer dagens samhälle krav på att informationenska levereras enligt standard. Standardiseringsorgan har tagit fram standarder för geografiskinformation som svar på behovet att återanvända och samutnyttja geografiska data.Vårt examensarbete är genomfört på Banverket Verksamhetsstöds IT-avdelning och var inriktatpå att kartlägga standarder för geografisk information och utveckla en webbtjänst för BIS för attöka tillgängligheten till informationen.Rapportens kunskapsbidrag är en analys av standarder för geografisk information som är relevantaför järnvägsnätet.

This thesis has treated a three-axis robot which task is to serve a larger test machine tomove the modules to be tested, from the storage to the test site. The robot is composed ofthree linear actuators; two standard components of ball screw type and a custom-builtactuator of trapezoidal type. The work has mainly focused on the custom-built device to seeif it could be replaced with a standard component. Part of the work has been to look into thepicking tool and to see if there are any possibilities to improve its function.The report presents two different proposals which I decided to call Robot 1 and Robot 2 andthey aim to address the problems arising in the purpose-built linear unit and the X-axislinearity problems. Robot 1 focuses on eliminating the problems that arise around therobot's X-axis, with such simple means as possible and without making excessive materialchanges.

Många studier visar på grönområdens positiva effekt på folkhälsan genom bl.a. minskning av stress och ökning av fysisk aktivitet. Närheten till dessa områden är mycket viktiga, studier visar att avståndet till ett grönt område bör vara max 300 meter från människors bostäder för att de ska användas mycket.Stockholm är en relativt grön stad, här finns många parker och andra naturområden som bidrar till att ge staden dess karaktär. Grönområdena i staden är också mycket populära, över 90 % av invånarna besöker ett grönområde minst en gång om året och 45 % är där varje vecka.

According to earlier studies, men dominates the sports pages in Swedish newspapers. The gender balance is far from equal and the purpose of this thesis is therefore to look into how Swedish local and regional newspapers covered gender in their sports pages during the year of 2013. The study also examines the news values of men?s and women?s sports, whether there are any differences compared to previous studies and whether there are any differences across the country. The study uses a quantitative content analysis and the result is based on editorial material from six randomly selected newspapers in 18 randomly selected days.

The purpose of this master thesis was to examine how the corporations quoted on the A-list on the Stockholm Stock Exchange were affected by the introduction of IFRS 3 Business Combinations. Their opinion about the accounting rule and the acquired goodwill in particular was focused as well. The authors wanted to see if there were any changes in ROE, return on equity, after the introduction of the new accounting standard.Data for this study was collected through interviews, questionnaires and annual reports. Interviews were held with corporate accounting managers of Assa Abloy, WM-data, Electrolux, Ericsson and SCA. Questionnaires were sent by e-mail to 50 companies and were answered by 30 of them.

Ett steg i utvecklingen för tjänsten var auktorisering av redovisningskonsulter samt utvecklingen av Svensk standard för redovisningstjänster, Reko, som gemensamt utfärdats av FAR och Sveriges Redovisningskonsulters Förbund (SRF). The project contains a force analysis of the vertical axis wind turbine Lucia's supporting arms and a measuring device to experimentally measure the forces is made. The forces between the supporting arms and the tower are calculated theoretically and then simulated by a computere. A measuring devise is then designed to measure the forces experimentally. The forces acting on the attachment between the supporting arms and the tower is primarily the centripetal force, gravitational force and the aerodynamic forces on the rotor wings. The maximum forces were theoretically calculated and is 13.38 kN along the x-axis, -0.25 kN along the y-axis and then 0.5 kN along the z-axis.

AbstractThe control of quality standard ISO 9001 has made the internal audit to be experienced as police authority and paragraph control. Because of that, motivation for internal auditors is low. To counteract the experience, there is a possibility to integrate internal audit with improvements in company?s processes. Theory has shown that a qualified and competent auditor can provide information that can help the organization's managements to make the right decisions that will improve product quality and result in new customer contracts.An opportunity to observe an internal and external audit at one of the case companies gave rise to this study.

Åmotfors Bruk AB (ÅBAB) has today an inefficient production of steam for the manufacturing of paper. Unpredictable energy prices and modernisation of the current equipment has been the underlying factors to invest in a thermal power plant, mainly driven by garbage. This facility will not only use the steam for paper production, it will also generate electricity through a steam turbine. Today, when a fault on the supplying line occurs which leads to disconnection of the external grid, all the support of electricity to Åmotfors Bruk (ÅB) will disappear. This will lead to major interruptions in the paper production, which will cause severe economical losses.

In a database environment, when you create or alter tables you often want to have a basic interface for standard operations such as insert, delete and update. This thesis report covers an analysis of what programs there are on the market for generating such interfaces and compares them against the demands of a real company. The analysis showed that none of the programs were completely meeting the requirements and therefore an own implementation of an interface generating program was created.
