This thesis examine if social voluntary organisations are independent or if they are being regulated by the public sector. We ask how free the organisations are since they get so much support and funding from the municipality. This is examined by looking at the homogenisation pressure, which means that organisations are being exposed by a pressure to become more similar. The control that the municipality has over the organisations is another aspect in this paper. The study focuses on the relation between the municipality of Linköping and three social voluntary organisations and their characteristics.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att granska svenska läromedel från 1960 talet fram till 2004 ur ett skånskt perspektiv. Jag ville veta hur mycket utrymme skånsk historia har under epoken stormaktstiden i de svenska läroböckerna. Samt ta reda på hur man kan använda böckernas eventuella material i ett dåtids-, nutids- och framtidsperspektiv (historiemedvetande). Dessutom har jag tagit fram en grovplanering om hur man kan arbeta med lokalhistoria i skolan och följa Lpo 94. Uppgiften kan både tillämpas i grundskolan och gymnasiet med en viss modifikation. Metoden vilar på Christer Karlegärds, Staffan Selanders och Niklas Ammerts teorier för en läromedelsundersökning samt historiedidaktiskt arbetssätt inom skolan.

Total amount of words: 15 269.In this essay, the purpose is to examine the personalization of Swedish national coaches during international championships in the Swedish tabloids. Research shows that a leader nowadays is representative for her organization. Therefore it could be assumed that the way the national coach is portrayed can have some kind of effect on the public opinion about the team as a unit and their sport federation in total. This essay is a quantitative study of the sport tabloids Sportbladet och SPORT-Expressen during three international championships: Euro 2012 in football, WC 2013 in ice hockey and Euro 2014 in handball. We have studied the coverage of the national coaches Erik Hamrén, Pär Mårts and Ola Lindgren/Staffan Olsson in contrast to the coverage of their teams in total.The main results are that the national coaches are mentioned in every second article that is written about the national teams during the championships. They are mainly portrayed in a neutral way, even though the coverage of them is affected by the results in the matches.

År 2002 utkom statsvetaren Staffan Anderssons avhandling Corruption in Sweden, i vilken han kartlägger korruptionen i Sverige och det officiella arbetet mot densamma. Sedan dess har en del ägt rum på den politiska och akademiska arenan inom området korruption, och denna uppsats utgör en komparativ uppföljning till Anderssons resultat.Vad gäller den officiella medvetenheten kring riskzoner för korruption har ingenting förändrats sedan 90-talet: det finns fortfarande ingen officiell svensk ståndpunkt i denna fråga. Det har heller inte skapat någon officiellt uttalad policy som reglerar arbetet mot korruption, däremot har det bildats en juridiskt operativ enhet (Riksenheten mot korruption, RMK), främst på initiativ från EU. Riksrevisionsverket (RRV) har även ombildats till den oberoende Riksrevisionen, vilket ger konstitutionellt skydd mot korruption.De legala förändringarna finns främst på det kommunala planet, men vi anser att det trots dessa förändringar fortfarande finns frågetecken kring den kommunala revisionens arbete, som kan anses politiskt och ekonomiskt beroende av kommunstyrelsen. Background: The consumers of today have the possibility to choose from a wide range of products and services. Consequently, the ability to differentiate the products is essential for the brand owners. If a brand owner does not manage to differentiate its product, it can be difficult to make the consumers realise the benefits of the product and convince them to buy it. One way to differentiate the product is to create a distinguished brand identity. However, it is not enough to create a strong brand identity, the brand owner must also be capable of communicating the brand identity successfully.

Background: A strong brand is becoming an increasingly important factor when surviving on a competitive market. A strong brand can therefore be considered a strategically important resource. The relationship between a brand's strength and its distribution can decide the future of a brand in the long run. Lifestyle branding is becoming a more popular way of differentiating ones brand from the competition. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to identify factors which according to the lifestyle brand owners are central when measuring the strength of a brand.

The research in question examines whether a newspaper benefits from its activity on the Internet and if so - how. Today, the morning press is relatively stable, but tendencies show that there?s a decrease amongst regular readers. The extension of this may jeopardize the position of the morning newspapers in the market and several newspapers choose to publish their content on the Internet. An Internet activity is foremost about keeping the position in the market, not to make an economical profit, and to compete at the same terms with free newspapers and news sites.

Den här uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka tystnadens kommunikativa funktion i två svenska teaterpjäser, Leka med elden av August Strindberg och En talande tystnad av Erland Josephson. I min metod använder jag mig av en anti-essentialistisk hållning och intresserar mig i första hand för tystnadens funktion.Tystnaden analyseras utifrån tre ingångar: dess relevans, konceptualisering och distanserande/förenande funktion. Analysen visar skillnader pjäserna emellan vad gäller tystnadsindikationer i teatertexten. En talande tystnad regisserar oftare explicit pauserna medan tystnaden i Leka med elden endast är antydd i texten och får sin relevans i Holms regi. Metaforer som avslöjar tystnadens konceptualisering förekommer i En talande tystnad men inte alls i Leka med elden.

May Aim: The background to this study is a book published by Staffan. I Lindberg & Richard Svensson where they presented a hypothesis that the decline in trusting democracy within Swedish youth is a result of the deregulation of the education in Sweden. The aim of this study is to test this hypothesis and see if the declinne in democracy can be seen already before graduating from elementary school. Method: The method used in this study consist of a survey distributed to students at two elementary schools that differentiates in question of grades and social status. By comparing and analyzing the results of this survey with the claims of the hypothesis, former studies and Lipsets theory of the working-class authoritarism a conclusion is made of the hypothesis credibility. Result & Conclusions: The results showed that there may be a a difference trusting democracy between students with higher grades and those with lower grades.

Hellström, Staffan. Tystnaden i ljudfilm - En studie i Jacques Tatis ?Mon Uncle?. C-uppsats. Falun: Institutionen för kultur & medier, Högskolan Dalarna.

I samband med min verksamhetsförlagda utbildning på Grontmij fick jag i uppdrag av Staffan Nordmark på Fortifikationsverket i Boden att utreda en dagvattenledning som leds från Bodens Energi AB:s värmeverk och ansluter till en brunn på Fortifikationsverkets område K108.Dagvattenledningen innehåller varmt vatten som bildas vid rökgasreningsprocessen vid värmeverket i Boden. Det är vid rening av rökgaserna från värmeverket som det uppstår kondensatvatten som ledds via den aktuella dagvattenledningen ut i Luleälven. Det är ca 30 000 m³ som spolas ut i Luleälven varje år från värmeverket och eftersom det är så stor mängd och relativt varmt vatten kan det var möjligt att använda spillvärmen till uppvärmning eller till stödvärme i byggnader.Huvuddragen i rapporten handlar om att ta fram olika lösningsförslag för att nyttja spillvärme i form av varmt vatten och ta fram förslag från leverantörer till kund. Min studie är uppdelad i en teoridel och en praktisk del där jag utreder dagvattenledningen från Bodens Energi AB:s värmeverk åt Fortifikationsverket och en teoretisk del där jag går in på hur spillvärme används i andra kommuner i Norrbotten samt hur mycket energi man sparar genom att effektivisera och ta vara på spillvärme från olika industrier. Enorma mängder spillvärme i form av vatten försvinner varje år ut i vattendrag och älvar.

Abstract Med Språkliga bilder av elevinflytande ? En studie av makt och inflytande i skolan vill vi, Ina Holm och Staffan Olsson synliggöra och problematisera begreppet elevinflytande och dess definition i en social praktik. Frågeställningarna vi utgått ifrån är: Finns det en samsyn eller diskrepans mellan de olika diskurserna rörande begreppet? Vad säger eleverna om möjlighet till inflytande? Hur förhåller sig elevernas utsagor till sociala maktförhållanden? Metoden vi har valt att tillämpa är diskursanalys inspirerad av Faircloughs kritiska diskursanalys. I vår studie har vi fokuserat på officiella dokument som skolans styrdokument, Barnkonventionen, ministerutsagor och elevers röster om inflytande.
