För att utröna vad gymnasielärare i biologi och naturkunskap tycker om sina läroböcker, samt hur de används i undervisningen utfördes intervjuer med lärare. Lärarna arbetade på två olika skolor, en med yrkesinriktade program och en med teoretiska program. Syftet var att utreda hur de använder sig av läroboken i undervisningen och vad de tycker är viktigt att lära ut. Hälften av lärarna var positiva till de läroböcker som används i undervisningen. De som var negativa till läroböcker ansåg att de var alltför grunda och att de saknar förklaringar av naturvetenskapliga processer och skeenden.

Detta examensarbete försöker belysa barns uppfattning om datorn och hur barns lekar påverkas av dataspel. Vidare avser rapporten att kartlägga vilken typ av dataspel som är barnens favoriter och om pojkar och flickor har olika uppfattning om datorer och dataspel. Rapporten skall också belysa kriterier för att skaffa dataspel/program till fritidshem och klass 0-1 samt vad berörd personal tycker om detta.Som metod har jag använt en intervjuundersökning med 12 barn i åldern sex till tio år. Jag har också intervjuat fyra av personalen vid fritidshem och klass 0-1.Resultatet visar att barn har en klar uppfattning om vad en dator är. Inget av barnen i undersökningen upplever datorn som konstig eller onaturlig.

This report is about a thesis that is performed in and for SYSteam Engineering AB in Motala. The thesis work is divided into three parts, study of the market, programming and electronics. The study part consists of examining and comparing different data acquisition systems for testing of different circuit boards, taking into account the modularity, real-time applications, mobility, environmental, interface hardware and software, to be able to define a general module-based data acquisition system in both hardware and software that enables for future developments.The programming part consists of getting started with Visual Studio, which integrates the Measurement Studio for C#. NET. Measurement Studio includes classes and user controls for testing and measuring and offers tools for acquisition, analysis and presentation of real world data.

Thesis purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to determine how a technolo-gically enhanced shopping tool, synergizing eCRM tech-niques with personalized promotion at the point-of-sale, can increase customer loyalty by considering perceptions of current grocery retailer loyalty programs in Sweden. Methodology: An exploratory research was undertaken in the light of a qualitative method collecting primary data through focus group interviews. Theoretical perspective: The major considerations regarding theoretical aspects, for this thesis, can be addressed by Behavioral/Attitudinal loyalty and Relevance of Promotion. Empirical data: The empirical data, in regards to primary data, was ga-thered based on four focus group interviews. Conclusion: The conclusions of the thesis imply, that in order to make a loyalty program successful, it needs to firstly be conven-ient for the customer; easy to join, and provide an easy and time efficient display at the point-of-sale.

 Denna undersökning syftar till att belysa elevers perspektiv kring orsaker till omval på gymnasiet. Uppsatsen är baserad på kvalitativ forskning och sex elever som gjort omval på gymnasiet har intervjuats. Ibland fokuserar omvalet på frånfaktorer och tillfaktorer. Orsakerna till varför elever bytte från ett gymnasieprogram var osäkerhet, dålig organisation, boende på annan ort, obekvämt boende, ångrat sitt yrkesval, tröttnat på ämnen på programmet, ointresse, lågt studietempo samt otillräcklig kunskap om sig själv och om programmet. Skälen att elever bytte till ett gymnasieprogram var intressen, osäkerhet och kamrater.

Uppsatsen behandlar den rådande problematiken gällande humanitär intervention, genom analys av FN:s R2P-program samt statssuveränitet. Syftet är att ta reda på vari problematiken kring det aktuella problemområdet ligger, vilken roll statssuveräniteten spelar däri, samt om R2P är tillämpbart.Med hjälp av ett teoretiskt analysverktyg klassificerar vi de olika uppfattningarna gällande problemområdet i kategorierna Opponents, Agnostics and Sceptics samt Optimists. Denna kategorisering hjälper oss att komma fram till slutsatserna att problematiken gällande humanitär intervention har tre huvudaspekter; legitimitet, selektivitet samt moral.Vi kommer även fram till slutsatsen att statssuveräniteten är det största hindret för humanitära interventioner. Likaså resulterar vår analys i slutsatsen att R2P i praktiken ej är tillämpbart. Detta på grund av FN:s ineffektivitet samt svårighet att uppnå konsensus, men likaså på grund av risken för bland annat starka staters makt missbruk, samt förmodat selektivt ansvarstagande, där beslut om intervention tas från fall till fall, då möjlighet att värna om samtligas mänskliga rättigheter i praktiken ej anses vara möjligt..

The project was intended to produce a brush simulation plugin to the image processing program GIMP which would use a 6DOF drawing tablet for user input.Too ambitious goals coupled with compability issues between the resources used resulted in that no meaningful software was produced. Översvämningsfrågan har flutit upp till ytan och blivit ytterst aktuell i och med debatten om globala klimatförändringar. Även om Sverige är relativt milt drabbat, så kommer också vårt land att påverkas framgent. Det område som vi har koncentrerat oss på ligger i norra delarna av centrala Lidköping, vid Vänerns södra strand. Vänerregionen är ett utpekat område som kommer att drabbas oftare av översvämningar i framtiden. En försmak på detta kom 2000/2001 då Vänerns nivå var 1,37 meter över det normala och delar av Lidköping var översvämmade.

In this report I summarize the thesis, which is about to check what will happen if you decide to increase the interval between the a-checks, carried out on the Norwegian airline Widerøe. They want to know if an increase in time between the checks can give them an opportunity of increasing their aircraft fleet. In the current situation Widerøe has 11  Dash 8 Q400 and can consider a possible increase of 3 planes. This would be done without the need to increase accessibility of the hangars and increase in staff.What determines how often a check is performed is the maintenance tasks which has the shortest maintenance interval. On the Dash 8 the shortest interval is 600 flight hours.

Theory: The framing of the theories is based on a marketing perspective within the area of differentiating and focuses on how companies use different tools to differentiate their offer to create competitive advantages.

Studien avser även att undersöka vilka diskurser som framträder då samtalen om skönlitteratur analyseras. Teori: Studien utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv. Säljö (2005) menar att lärande är en aspekt av all mänsklig verksamhet och betonar språkets och de kommunikativa processernas betydelse i det sociokulturella perspektivet. Individens möjligheter att tillåtas göra kommunikativa erfarenheter diskuteras av Säljö och var inledningsvis en inspirationskälla för studien.Metod: Studien, som är en diskursanalys, har en kvalitativ inriktning.

In order to facilitate testing of anesthesia machines a patient simulator has been required by Maquet Critical Care AB. A patient simulator has been developed to reduce expensive and time consuming animal experiments and temporary lab arrangements. The patient simulator has been developed and designed to simulate human lungs with regards to anesthetic uptake, production of carbon dioxide and heating and moisturizing exhaled air.The system comprises a container and a test lung to simulate the volume and the dynamic of the human lung. The simulation of uptake of anesthetics has been implemented by pumping a fraction of the gas from the container through a bypass circuit with an active charcoal filter that adsorbs volatile anesthetics. The flow through the bypass circuit is generated by a pump and is controlled by a linear valve.The resulting performance of the patient simulator has fulfilled the requirements.
