This thesis presents an analysis of a conversation between a therapist and her client. Through a study of the conversation's topics and structure I have been able to draw conclusions on how the therapist governs and steers the session. With the use of certain tools, such as introductions of topics, invitations, paraphrasing and explorative questions, the therapist presents the frames of the conversation. At the same time, though, she invites the client to state her point of view and correct the views imposed on her through, for example, formulations from the therapist. I in my study I have used the methods of Conversational Anlaysis (CA) com-bined with quantitative methods such as calculating the frequency of a phenomenon.Throughout the thesis I have compared my results with the results presented by Ulla Melander Marttala in her dissertation Content and perspective in doctor-patient conversa-tions.

Sverige har över 100.000 veteraner och den svenska politiken verkar för ett större samarbete med FN och Nato. Därför är det viktigt att Sverige även kan hantera hemkomna veteraner som fått psykiska besvär under tjänstgöringen. Denna studie har baserats på veteraner och hur de upplever hemkomsten, veteranernas erfarenheter av Hemkomstprogram och tjänstgöring. Studien gör en jämförelse mellan tidigare forskning och veteranernas åsikter om vad som kan påverka den psykiska hälsan samt deras åsikter om hemkomstprogrammet. Arbetet består av inspelade telefonintervjuer som gjorts med veteraner (n=5) och en av Försvarsmaktens psykologer samt tidigare forskning.

Studien koncentrerades på den ökade uppmärksamheten kring pokerspel i media. Intresset tycks ha ökat kring detta "fenomen" vilket fört med sig både kommersiell uppmärksamhet och kanske en ökad nyfikenhet för dem som tidigare inte varit spelintresserade. Föreliggande analys diskuterade varför ett sådant intresse plötsligt fått genomslagskraft. Diskussionen inleddes med ett teoriavsnitt där flera teser togs upp. Dessa kom att handla om livsstilar, risktagande, tillfälligheten, Internet och spel i vardagen, störst utrymme fick Anthony Giddens.

Analyzes eventual resemblances or differences between the two magazine's cover images based upon the result of the semiotic analysis.Material and methods: The study of Elles's and Café's cover pages has been done using a model built upon semiotic analysis, developed with the purpose of suiting observation and examination of cover pages of fashion magazines. The cover pages were analyzed from the categories character, context, and environment.Main results: The main results include the observation that both Elles and Café chooses well-known figures from women's fashion industry as prime characters on their covers. In Elles, all main characters are famous women emerging from the music, television and fashion industries. The women in Café are known for similar professions.

Mitt arbete syftar till att åskådliggöra de genusföreställningar som skapas av vårt samhälle kring sättet vi lever och verkar på. Mitt fokus ligger på tjejer som tränar eller verkar inom kampsport, deras uppfattning av sig själva som kvinnliga utövare samt deras tolkning av samhällets syn på dem. Studien är kvalitativ och baseras på teoretisk forskning kring genus, kön, idrott och idrottshistoria. Till detta har jag valt att addera tolv intervjuer med personer som faller inom ramen av mitt urval, det vill säga personer som under en längre tid varit med och verkat för kampsporten. Då jag har riktat in mig på fyra olika kampsporter och för att få en bra bredd, har jag valt att intervjua en kille och två tjejer från varje sport.                      Resultatet redovisas i löpande text och är baserad på frågeställningen i den ordning de kommer.

AimThe aim of this study was to map the injury panorama of traumatic injuries related to ice hockey in Sweden 2006-2011. In addition to that the aim was to compare whether there were any gender differences regarding traumatic ice hockey injuries. MethodThe present study was based on data from the Folksam insurance company between 2006 and 2011. The population consisted of ice hockey players in a club affiliated to the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation and that had sustained a traumatic injury related to ice hockey that resulted in medical care and then was reported to Folksam. The results are presented with descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, median range and frequencies. ResultsThe head was the most common injury localization followed by the upper extremity where the shoulder accounted for a high number of injuries. Fracture was the most common type of injury for both male and female players.

The purpose of this study is to examine immigrants' experiences of social services' treatmentand their expectations of social services. In this study we have used the following questions:how immigrants have experienced the treatment of the social service, the way in whichimmigrants would like to be treated by social services as well as what kind of beliefs andexpectations immigrants have concerning the social services' duties and powers. We haveused a qualitative method in the study that consists of ten semi-structured interviews. Thetheoretical concepts we have used are culture, ethnicity, cultural competence, professionalismand social psychology. The survey reveals a majority of negative experiences, such as afeeling of being ?tossed around?, suspicion and discrimination by the caseworkers due to theethnicity of the respondents.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how health information is integrated into knowledge in an everyday health related context on the web. The more specific aim is, from a LIS point of view, to map knowledge related discourses with the focus on pregnancy, in discussion forums on Swedish health related web sites. The following main questions in this paper are: (1) a) What discourses on pregnancy knowledge can be found and b) how are they expressed? (2) What are the functions of the recognised discourses? and (3) what are the relations between the identified discourses? The theoretical and methodological starting-point is discourse theory with the main focus on discursive psychology according to Wetherell?s and Potter?s theoretical and empirical work.

Det fanns många studier avseende attityder och kunskaper gentemot ECT bland både läkare och patienter. Däremot fanns ett fåtal studier ur sjuksköterskor och sjuksköterskestudenters perspektiv gällande attityd, kunskap och omvårdnad vid ECT behandlingen. Syftet var att ur ett omvårdnadsperspektiv beskriva ECT behandlingen avseende attityd, kunskap och omvårdnadshandling. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt baserad på tio vetenskapliga artiklar, nio kvantitativa och en kvalitativ, funna genom litteratursökning i databaserna Academic Search Elite, Cinahl, CSA Psychology, PsycInfo, PubMed, SweMed+, Scopus och Web of Science. Resultatet visade motsägelsefulla fynd angående attityderna.

Inledning: I Sverige finns det ett stort kommersiellt intresse för ishockey och fotboll. Man får ofta höra om goda sportsliga insatser från spelare men sällan om personerna med makt vid sidan av planen. Vi studerar Sports management och har därför intresserat oss för att undersöka en bransch som vi möjligtvis kommer arbeta inom i framtiden.Syfte: En verkställande direktör har rollen med mest makt och högsta befogenhet i den dagliga verksamheten i en organisation. Vd:arna har även en central roll i idrottsorganisationer. Syftet med studien var att utifrån vd:arnas egna subjektiva beskrivning undersöka hur rollen som vd ser ut och vilka olika aspekter som måste beaktas i det dagliga arbetet, samt hur och vilket ledarskap som tillämpas.Frågeställningar: Hur ser arbetet ut och vilka ansvarsområden finns för en vd/klubbchef inom en ishockey-/fotbollsklubb? Vilket ledarskap tillämpas av vd:arna/klubbcheferna? Vilka är de största svårigheterna och utmaningarna samt vad påverkar vd:arnas/klubbchefernas ledarskap?Metod: Vi har genomfört sex stycken kvalitativa semi-strukturerade intervjuer med verkställande direktörer, klubbdirektörer och klubbchefer för elitishockey- och elitfotbollsklubbar.Empiri och slutsats: Studien visar att det fanns en gemensam uppfattning om vad ledarskap är, och hur det utfördes av våra respondenter.

Based on phenomenological hermeneutics and narrative theory the study explored how parents experience and create meaning when the child receives the diagnosis of autistic disorder. Interviews were conducted with eight parents and the analysis concerned both contents and form in their stories. The resulting aspects of the contents is presented in seven areas: stories about the time before the diagnosis, seeking help, receiving the diagnosis, the meaning of the diagnosis, coping, living with autism and stories about the future. The six resulting aspects of form included: chronology of the stories, creating order out of chaos, cultural norms, rewriting the story about the child, aspects of metaphors and changing perspective. The conclusion of the study is that the diagnosis serves as a way for the parents to transform experiences into a meaningful whole.

Bruno K. Öijer is one of Sweden's well known poets. He belongs to a poetic avant-garde and made his debut in 1973. Many literature researchers and reviewers have focused on Öijer as person and poet. I will discuss Öijer's authorship in relation to literary traditions, such as orphic tradition, avant-garde and modernsim, surrealism and the outsider definition.

Vi har i denna uppsats valt att titta närmare på mellanchefens arbetssituation, och vad det är som påverkar denna. Mellanchefers arbete är som vi ser det väldigt hårt pressat. De ska dels föra ledningens mål och visioner vidare till medarbetarna. Dessutom ska de även kunna leda det dagliga arbetet på sektionen. Detta innebär en hög arbetsbelastning på grund av många direktrapporterande medarbetare.

En Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-intervention på tre sessioner á tre timmar har erbjudits en icke-klinisk grupp stressade kvinnor (N=20). Målet var att undersöka deltagarnas reaktioner på interventionen och att se huruvida ACT kan tänkas påverka deltagarnas upplevelse av och resurser för att hantera stress. Data samlades in före och efter interventionen, vid varje session, samt vid en tre månaders uppföljning. Deltagarnas reaktioner undersöktes med hjälp av enkäter och skriftliga utvärderingar, medan förändring i stressupplevelse och copingresurser mättes med självskattningsskalorna Perceived Stress Scale respektive Coping Resources Inventory. Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2 användes för att mäta den för ACT centrala variabeln psykologisk flexibilitet.

This study is a quantitative study designed to examine whether training in health issues may have contributed to the increase in head managers' psychological capital (PsyCap). Construction consists of the following components: self confidence, hope, optimism and resilience. A high PsyCap considered beneficial in organizational change and steer towards the positive development and helps individuals in stressful situations. The results show an increase of characteristics such as hope and optimism among managers (N = 15) who have undergone training in health issues compared with managers who have not undergone training. However, the tests show no significant difference in head managers' attitudes to health breaks, not the severity of granting health breaks in the groups as a result of training.
