Gymnasieungdomar är en grupp där ett stort antal elever är fysiskt inaktiva. För att öka den fysiska aktiviteten hos elever driver Hallands Idrottsförbund ett projekt där eleverna får möjlighet att spela fotbollsmatch på lektionstid en timma i veckan. Eleverna som deltar i projektet går på en gymnasieskola och har som inriktning el- programmet. Som ett led i utvärderingen av föreliggande projekt genomfördes 10 intervjuer. Studien har som syfte att kartlägga ungdomars motivationsfaktorer och barriärer för att vara fysiskt aktiva och för att delta i ett idrottsprojekt.

Trygg-bas scripts är mentala anknytningsrepresentationer som bildas och utvecklas hos individen utifrån dess samvaro med anknytningsperson(er). Studiens syfte var att undersöka förekomst av idrottsrelaterade (tävlings) script och sambandet mellan trygg-bas styrka i barnens eventuella sporttävlingsscript, trygg-bas generellt och koherens i barnets anknytningsrepresentation. Dessutom söktes förståelse för barns och föräldrars involvering och upplevelse av barnets idrottsaktivitet. Föräldrapress undersöktes från både barn- och föräldraperspektiv. Slutligen diskuterades samband mellan barnets anknytning och föräldrapress.

Bakgrund: Idrottsskador ?r vanliga i lagidrotter som handboll och innebandy. Trots att skadepreventionstr?ning ?r effektiv ?r f?ljsamheten ofta l?g. Spelbaserad tr?ning har visat positiva effekter p? motivation och engagemang i andra sammanhang, men hur idrottare uppfattar spelbaserad skadeprevention ?r inte unders?kt.

Med Skistar som uppdragsgivare ska ett område på ca 28 000m2 projekteras för nytt gästboende i Lindvallen, Sälen. Boendet ska handikappanpassas. Syftet med projektet är att ge Skistar en infallsvinkel på hur området kan utformas med speciellt hänseende på en god handikappanpassning.Boendet riktas mot gäster med eller utan handikapp som kommer för att semestra och utöva alpin skidåkning. De handikapp som boendet riktar sig mot är personer med rörelsehinder som använder manuell eller liten eldriven rullstol samt personer med nedsatt syn eller hörsel. Eftersom detta är ett gästboende innefattas boendet inte under de regler som gäller för handikappanpassning enligt Boverkets byggregler.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att empiriskt undersöka en teoretisk modell för korrelationer mellan dispositionell mindfulness, påverkansmekanismer och idrottspsykologiska färdigheter (Birrer, Röthlin & Morgan, 2012). Modellen testas genom att (1) undersöka korrelationer mellan dispositionell mindfulness och påverkansmekanismer (Emotionsreglering, Klarsynthet och Ältande). (2) Undersöka korrelationer mellan påverkansmekanismer och idrottspsykologiska färdigheter (Motoriska färdigheter, Anspänningsreglering, Motivation och Copingförmåga). (3) Dessutom undersöktes även korrelationer mellan idrottspsykologiska färdigheter och självskattad idrottsprestation (Tävlings- respektive träningsprestation). I studien deltog 242 elitidrottare från idrottsföreningar i sydvästra Sverige.

Problemen som föranlett detta examensarbete är en önskan hos Äppelriket att ge förslag på interna logistiklösningar med hänsyn till de krav som ställs av omgivningen. ICA och COOP ställer krav på deras leverantörer att de ska genomgå en BRC-certifiering och få den godkänd. Förändringar av befintliga processer måste därför ske inom Äppelriket. De problemområden som behandlas i uppsatsen är att truckverksamheten måste elimineras i sorteringshallen samt paketerarnas ergonomiska arbetsvillkor måste förbättras. Dessa problem rör sig i sorteringshallen, vilket är vår avgränsning i denna uppsats.

Bakgrund: Stretching tros kunna förlänga muskelfascia, senor, ligament och öka en muskels tolerans för sträckning, så att muskeln kan slappna av längre in i rörelsen. Många teorier finns om vilken effekt stretching kan tänkas ha. Ett av dessa omdiskuterade områden är om stretchingen kan minska risken att drabbas av skador inom idrotten, något som i hög grad berör den sjukgymnastiska professionen. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att ta reda på vilken evidens som föreligger för att stretching kan förebygga skador hos idrottsaktiva, samt diskutera vilket kliniskt värde detta kan tänkas ha för sjukgymnastyrket. Metod: Rapporten var en systematisk litteratursammanställning.

When the storm Gudrun hit Sweden on the 8th and 9th of January, many recreational forests in southern Sweden blew down. For this reason there is a demand for new regeneration methods as to how these storm-felled areas should be regenerated and with what species. In this study the forest is divided into three areas: production, recreation/production and recreation. The first area is a forest with production as main goal and these kinds of forests are located a bit from the city. The second type ? recreation/production forest ? has two equal goals: production and recreation, and is located close to the city.

In the Swedish abattoirs there are assistants that judge the slaughtered animals in regard to diseases and injuries. All diseases and injuries assign different codes. This master?s thesis is about code 42 which means injuries of different kinds like for example bruises etc. These injuries have risen during the transport from the farm to the abattoir lairage or during the stay at the lairage before slaughter.

Drawing from the theoretical foundations of the ?critical theory? of the Frankfurt School and the media ethnographic ?cultural studies? approach of the british Birmingham School, this study attempts to sketch out a media theoretical overview of the contemporary state of media culture. Using the term convergence culture as the foundation, this study offers a theoretical background to the two contemporary streams that are the significant and distinct tendencies of convergence culture: intermedial convergence, its contemporary state and historical tendencies that can be traced back using the past media theoretical approach of the Frankfurt School, and cultural convergence, its contemporary state and historical tendencies, which lineage in a media theoretical context can be traced back to the british ethographic ?cultural studies? field. Using contemporary drama serials to identify and pinpoint these two stream, this study shows how intermedial convergence expresses itself today through media conglomeration in terms of branding, product placement and marketing as the result of the ?completed? convergence between screen culture and popular music as the current defining state of commodity culture.

All of the participants are members of political youth parties/organizations, equally divided in left and right wing parties.

?Longboards? är ett examensarbete utfört av Leo Ekbom och Sammy-Sebastian Tawakkoli för innovations- och designingejörsprogrammet vid fakulteten för teknik och naturvetenskap på Karlstads Universitet. Uppdragsgivaren är Space Production AB, projektägare är Dan Edanius, art director och projektledare på företaget. Ett av företagets projekt var våren 2008 att producera Slalom Skateboarding VM och med anknytning till detta växte ett examensarbete fram. Space Production AB började som ett montersnickeri men har idag utvecklats till ett företag som driver fullständiga utställnings- och eventprojekt. Företaget tillhandahåller allt från idéskiss till montering och servning även då huvudsysslan ligger i att producera, installera och lagra utformning från annan part. Uppgiften var att ta fram en produktserie innehållande tre modeller av longbaords med bred spridning.

The project concerns a predevelopment work for Scania AB, a leading manufacturer of heavytrucks, and was performed as a master thesis work for the program Design and ProductDevelopment at KTH. The purpose of this work was to examine how the work situation of truckdrivers, especially long-haulage drivers, can be improved with respect to prolonged sedentaryoccupation. Mental fatigue and under-stimulation due to low cognitive load during long drivescan be major risk factors for traffic accidents. Physical strain injuries to both the skeleton andmuscles are common for this working group and minimal opportunity for daily exercise alsoincreases the risk of developing blood clots in the legs, which can have serious consequences forthe driver's health.An extensive background study, both theoretical and exploratory, was performed to identify thedrivers' concerns and comfort needs. Various treatments such as massage and active sitting wereinvestigated and existing products within the area studied.
