Rapporten redovisar utredning, skisser och det slutliga förslaget för en ombyggnation av en skollokal till ett science center.BakgrundFramtidsmuseet i Dalarna har under en längre tid varit i behov av en större lokal för att kunna expandera. En lämplig lokal i närheten av köpcentret Kupolen finns, då den har använts för undervisning och inte har genomgått någon större förändring sedan den byggdes i slutet av 70-talet, behövs en omfattande exteriör och interiör ombyggnation för att passa Framtidsmuseets behov.GenomförandeLokal- och byggprogram har framtagits genom att sammanställa beställarens krav och ambitioner med egen införskaffad information om lämplig innemiljö, med tanke på barns inlärning och gällande praxis för att göra byggnader tillgängliga och användbara för alla. Dessa har sedan omvandlats via olika skisser och utkast till ett färdigt förslag på ombyggnation av byggnaden till Framtidsmuseets nya lokaler.ResultatFörslaget innefattar Framtidsmuseets alla olika verksamheter, men även en sammanslagning med Kulturcentrum Asken inryms i förslaget. Förslaget är anpassat efter barns behov av att ha ett ljust och stillsamt inneklimat för att lättare kunna lära sig de kunskaper som Framtidsmuseet och Kulturcentrum Asken förmedlar. Museet har även utformats med tillräckliga passagebredder och minimala nivåskillnader etcetera för att kunna användas till fullo av alla besökare.

The purpose of this examination was to se how exercise affects the learning capacity. In this work I have chosen to integrate natural science with sport and the target group was a primary department. The two areas I integrate with sports were: the digestive system and knowledge of deciduous trees. I split the class in two different groups. One group got to have a theoretical lesson and the other one got to have an exercise lesson.

A project exploring the boundaries between 2D and 3D. What is surface and what is substance? A countinuation of previous projects where I?ve examined the journey from two dimensional paper to three dimensonal objects. This project deals with the journey from three dimensonality back into a flat two dimensional surface, and the question if something can be both 2D and 3D at the same time. I decided not to center the project around a specific item, but rather let the project itself be in focus.

In healthcare there is a rapid development towards introducing and implementing a wide range of information technology (IT) to aim for higher quality and more effective care. A common health information system (Cambio Cosmic) has been implemented in Landstinget Kronoberg. Clinical microsystems are the frontline units where staff and pa-tient meet. When the conditions in the microsystems are changed, it is interesting to de-scribe and analyse the consequences.The purpose of this study is to describe how health care staff uses a health information sys-tem and how they experience its functionality in their patient work. Initially, a literature re-view about the use of health information system was undertaken, followed by a qualitative case study based on interviews about how healthcare staff describes their reality.

Today's fierce competition means that companies constantly must develop their business and internal processes. Focus on processes and continuous improvement is something that characterizes Lean Production which ICA logistics are applying with their concept Leading Logistics. Standardized routines for handling damaged gods were insufficient at the ICA distribution center in Kungälv. Handling and registration of damaged gods were not performed uniformly, resulting in problems with controlling and monitoring the process.The purpose of this thesis was to analyze and make recommendations how the process of internal handling of damaged gods could be improved. Therefore a comprehensive understanding was needed of the entire material flow through the warehouse and important quality aspects such as product safety and delivery reliability.The methods used are literature reviews, interviews and observations to produce a comprehensive process mapping of the current situation at the distribution center.

Det finns vissa svårigheter med marknadskommunikation inom offentlig sektor då produkten och kunden skiljer sig från den privata sektorn. För en stad kan exempelvis produkten ses som en social effekt och kunder ses som medborgare. Samtidigt kan inte medborgarna endast ses som kunder, då de också är delaktiga i skapandet av stadens produkt och varumärke, utan måste också betraktas som interna medarbetare. Svårigheter i marknadskommunikation inom offentlig sektor är dessutom att offentliga organisationer måste ta hänsyn till en mängd olika värden.Vi har studerat hur olika värden inom Borås Stad tar sitt uttryck i marknadskommunikationen och hur kommunikationen med medborgarna sker. Vi vill kartlägga kommunikationen för att se hur Borås Stad arbetar för att positionera sig som textilstad, i och med pågående satsningar på det textila klustret Textile Fashion Center.

This paper is about skiing and Swedish nationalism during the late 19th century and early 20th century. The aim is to investigate why skiing was considered so eminently suited for the incorporation of certain ideals in the national fellowship.The paper accounts an analyse of texts and documents about Swedish skiing from 1897-1924. Skiing was a nationalistic concern from the very beginning of this period. It was connected to heartfelt feelings towards the Swedish nature, the patriotic upbringing of the youth, as well as the health of the nation. Over the years skiing also became an increased object of sportification.

SyfteMitt syfte med denna uppsat's är att skapa en förståelse för begreppet personalidé och des's användbarhet genom att studera och analysera hur design och implementering av personalidé, utifrån en given affärsidé, kan utforma's på ett framgångsrikt sätt. MetodDet empiriska materialet bygger på en fallstudie av IKEA Kundservice Center i Älmhult. Insamlandet av data har skett främst genom intervjuer med personer i chefspositioner i fallföretaget, medarbetare på personalavdelningen, facklig klubbordföranden, arbetsförmedlare samt personalarbetare på koncernnivå. Data har även samlat's in genom en enkätundersökning till de anställda i fallföretaget. I analysen placera's begreppet personalidé in i det sammanhang fallföretaget utgör.

Within the world of e-sports it has also become one of the most lucrative games to compete in. In order to keep up with the competition it has always been important to use the best hardware available for the task. This thesis is about these tools that gamers use to play - gaming gear - and how pro gamers train to increase their chances of winning. We investigate various factors that might be important in their choice of gaming gear when they play, and how they train to use these artifacts more efficiently to get maximum performance.

Dropout among youth players is a problem in Swedish icehockey. Leaders in youth hockey teams work closely with players on an almost everyday basis during season and have a big influence on players and their activities. This study aims to identify possible reasons for dropouts by interviewing coaches and leaders in icehockey clubs. A total of eight coaches and leaders in different ice hockey clubs were interviewed. Results show that the coaches highlight three reasons for early dropout; focus on competition, results and too much training in younger ages..

The need for snow-free surfaces at squares, bus stops, platforms, car parks and sports facilities increases and at the same time energy price rise and the environment is becoming a hotter issue. The construction of the ground heating systems often lack thermal insulation under the heating pipes, which means that the heat from the pipes not only warm up the soil surface but also heats the surrounding soil. The insulation also has more features, by insulating the risk of frost damage is minimized. The goal of this report is to demonstrate the large heat loss and energy costs in the absence of insulation under the heating system.The report begins with a scientific way to study and treating the soil heating system uses, and the theory involved. Furthermore it also deals with different routing principles of heat pipes depending on the facility.All calculations are made with so called finite element method (FEM), in COMSOL Multiphysics 3,5a, where models are created with different conditions.

This paper deals with hill-forts located on and directly south of Selaön, in the center of Mälardalen, Södermanland, dated to the late roman period and the migration period. Of special interest is differences and similarities between the forts when it comes to their morphology and the hills where they were built. Furthermore, their landscape has been examined and I have tried to put the hill-forts in relation to any iron age settlements..

Det här arbetet fokuserar på den profana och religiösa människans omedvetna arketypiska arv som vi fått genom myterna, och vidare på hur detta påverkar oss i särskilda situationer. Som exempel har jag fördjupat mig i terroristattacken mot World Trade Center den 11 september 2001.I min första del beskriver jag myterna och olika mytkriterier, hur de är uppbyggda och vad de innehåller. Gemensamt för de olika myterna visar sig vara kampen mellan kaos och ordning och/eller det onda och goda, där harmoni måste råda på det jordiska planet såväl som på det gudomliga. I denna del tar jag också upp tidens betydelse och hur både den profana och religiösa tiden är av cyklisk natur där nyåret och återupprepning av högtider är av stor vikt för den psykologiska bearbetningen och personliga existensen.I min andra del beskriver jag staden New York och dess betydelse för innevånarna själva och omvärlden, som en stad med grandios arkitektur som själv talar om sig som en stad som symboliserar absolut frihet, välgång och tillväxt. Jag beskriver också tvillingtornen i World Trade Center som en axis mundi, ett mänskligt strävande åt det gudomliga, i världens navel, den absoluta mittpunkten.
