Att bemöta, lyssna till och delaktiggöra ungdomar på HVB-hem : En  kvalitativ studie ur personalens perspektiv

When young people are placed in residential care, the staff have a responsibility to ensure that the youth have a safe environment where they can thrive and develop. Residential staff also have responsibilities to ensure the rights of youth during the residential care. This study aims to examine how staff consider themselves to treat the youth in residential care. Furthermore the study aims to examine how the staff consider themselves to ensure youth their right to be heard and have an impact on their own lives, in agreement with Article 12 of the UN convention on the rights of the child (CRC). A qualitative method has been used in order to answer the study's purpose and issues.

Today automotive manufacturers are facing a crisis with increased pressure to strengthen their brands. To prevent declining results many automakers have chosen to extend its brand to other industries i.e. various forms of brand extensions. Automotive manufacturers have developed an international strategy for what merchandise to offer. The strategy has received an overall positive response, however, it does not apply well within the Swedish market where merchandise is sold in less quantity than abroad.

Den moderna flerenhetsfranchisetagaren: En studie i utformandet av kontrollsystem hos växande franchisetagare

Franchise theorists have to a large extent failed to keep up with the actual development in global franchise chains. The recent emergence of fast growing multi-unit-franchisees has fundamentally been ignored, and it has been claimed that the new phenomenon can be regarded as a mere replication of the franchisors? structure and control system into sub hierarchies. This study however, suggests that the reality is more complex. Through conducting case studies of two Nordic multi-unit-franchisees, new theories are built explaining how and why control systems are designed the way they are.

Motivationsfrämjande : - en kvalitativ undersökning om ledares tillvägagångssätt för att skapa förutsättningar som kan leda till motivation hos medarbetare

Medarbetarna inom en organisation har en betydelsefull roll för verksamhetens utveckling och ledarna har en viktig funktion genom att de i stor utsträckning kan påverka medarbetarna. Syftet med vår undersökning var att fokusera på ledare inom IKEA AB och beskriva hur de arbetar utifrån strategin ?IKEA AB in change? för att skapa förutsättningar som ökar medarbetarnas motivation i arbetet. Vi inriktade oss på motivationsskapande inom områdena ledarskap, kommunikation och kompetens. Studien grundade sig på sammanlagt nio semistrukturerade intervjuer med ledare, HR-manager och fackordförande inom IKEA AB.

Utomhuspedagogik : -tillämpning och förståelse i en sydafrikansk skola

SammanfattningDenna uppsats har som syfte att undersöka om och hur lärare bedriver utomhuspedagogik i Sydafrika samt hur lärarna definierar begreppen natur och miljö. Undersökningen skedde på en skola i en svart kåkstad i Östra Kapprovinsen i Sydafrika, genom intervjuer med tre lärare i årskurs 4. Respondenterna fick bland annat frågan om vad utomhuspedagogik är och gav i första hand svaren lek och sport. Deras avsikt med utomhuspedagogik var i första hand att aktivera eleverna under fritiden.I litteraturen är begreppet definierat bland annat som en didaktisk metod som handlar om att inte bara läsa fakta utan att genom sinnen och görande få kunskap genom praktiska övningar i utomhusmiljön. Både litteratur och respondenterna tog upp att utomhuspedagogiken är ett sätt att få tillfälle till rörelse och alternativ metod för att ta in kunskap.

Styrning av säljbolag - En studie av hur säljbolag i en global industrikoncern styrs på distans

In today's globalized world it is essential to achieve goal congruence within a multinational corporation despite the distances between the headquarters and subsidiaries. A case study has been performed to examine how control of sales units within a Swedish multinational corporation is achieved. Otley's framework has been used in the study to provide an overall picture of the control system where the analysis is based on five areas: key objectives and goal evaluation, strategies and plans, target setting process, incentives and motivation as well as information flows. To complement this framework, theories of convergence and divergence by Busco et al. have been used as well as theories of hierarchical control and self-control by Holmström.

Corporate Social Responsibility (?CSR?), även på svenska kallad företagens samhällsansvar, har under de senaste åren fått en allt mer betydelsefull roll i företag. Det är av intresse att studera hur olika företag ser på och använder sig av CSR, då CSR står för hur ett företag tar sitt ansvar jämtemot sina intressenter. Detta ansvar kan vara socialt lika väl som miljömässigt. Syftet med denna rapport var att analysera och undersöka vilken påverkan Sony Mobile Communications CSR initiativ GreenHeartTM hade på koldioxidutsläppen i en livscykel av deras produkter.

Relationen mellan motivation och målorientering, upplevd förmåga samt uppfattat motivationsklimat hos gymtränande kvinnor och män

The purpose was to examine relations between motivation and goal orientation, perceived ability and perceived motivational climate among persons working out in gym. Another purpose was to study differences in motivation, perceived ability and motivational climate among men and women. The final purpose was to study interactional effects on the dependent variable motivation. The participants were 59 men and 69 women. The instruments used were Task and Ego Goal Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (TEOSQ), Harter´s Competence scale and part of Mahoneys R-5 test.

Besides Knightec AB three other companies located in Sweden has beenparticipating in this study. Through semi structured interviews and discussions in focus groupsinformation from the three involved companies were obtained.

These clubs tend to build new arenas that in many ways change basic variables.The thesis is an analytic thesis based on information about the clubs and interviews. The purpose is to study the basic variables for pricing of tickets in Swedish ice hockey. Furthermore the pricing itself and its connection to the new arenas are studied.The focus of the thesis is on the three clubs HV 71, Färjestads BK and Linköpings HC.

Gymnastiktjejer och Ishockeybrudar : En studie om genus och normer i två idrottsföreningar

The aim of this study was to examine which norms are applicable and how they are reproduced in two sports organisations. More specifically the aim was to find out how the leaders worked with gender roles and what message the organisations give out to young people. And at the same time, find out if there are similarities and differences between two different organisations, regarding norms and gender roles.  The study was based on observations and interviews. The observations were made during and after training in an ice hockey team and two gymnastic teams for girls nine to thirteen years old. The interviews were conducted with seven leaders and one senior ice-hockey player.

An individual´s health is an important quality and asset to the individual, as well as to organizations and communities. The health of a human being is affected by the whole life situation, where the work place forms a significant part. The work place is an arena that can contribute to creating ill-health. In the light of increasing work- related ill-health in our society, it is important today to work with health-promoting initiatives in order to improve the well-being of people. It is advisable that an appointed key person at the work place works with health-promoting efforts.
