The purpose of this study was to examine how food managers of Östergötland County disucss around their possibilities of reaching the government´s orientation towards 25 per cent of the food - procured, prepared and cooked in the school meal - coming from certified organic production. The study was a cross-sectional study in wich a qualitative approach was used. The sample consisted six food managers in Östergötland. Data processing was done through a semantic content analysis.  The result showed that involvment and intrest were significant factors for the introduction of organic food in the school meal. The three municipalities with the highest percentage of organic food used the SMART - concept.

Vi jämför också distansledarskapet med ett traditionellt ledarskap för att förstå på vilket sätt de skiljer sig i ledarskapets utövande. The Swedish bank Handelsbanken has, according to their own way of measuring, been more successful than a weighted average of their competitors during the last 38 years. They have also handled the recent financial crisis, as well as the one in the 1990´s, better than most other banks. This paper studies their management control system at branch level in order to identify the controls which have been enforced to ensure that a low risk level is retained in the lending. The controls that have been identified are; (1) A decentralized organization with the offices as profit centers where the manager has restrictions regarding risk level and the results are measured as K/I (cost/revenue). (2) The absence of bonuses and individual follow-up regarding performance measurement.

In organizations today Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming a common means to try to gain legitimacy and credibility for their business. A successful CSR strategy has the potential to generate positive outcomes for a company and reaching out to stakeholders about the corporation?s contribution in the field is an important part of the work. In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.

The aim of this study is to contribute knowledge about how preschool teachers reason around their role in the work with children being maltreated. The study has been based on the following questions: How do the preschool teachers identify children being maltreated ? How do the preschool teachers act after they have identified a child thats being maltreated? What difficulties experienced preschool teachers based on their professional roles related to child maltreatment? The method used in the study is a focus group interview, which is a kind of informal group discussion. The result shows that there are difficulties in the preschool regarding the work with children being maltreated. Some of the difficulties that the preschool teachers raised was the contact with the guardians, society?s negative perception of the social services, that all the notifications must go through the pre-school manager and that they don?t have so much experience of notifications. .

Miljöcertifieringssystemen PEFC och FSC ställer krav på uppföljning och revision för att säkerställa att kraven och kvalitén uppnås. Studiens syfte var att belysa de skogliga maskinentreprenörerna och förvaltarnas/virkesinköparnas erfarenheter av arbete med uppföljning inom miljöcertifierat skogsbruk. Materialet insamlades genom telefonintervjuer och analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilket ledde fram till resultatet. Uppföljningen och traktdirektivet har en viktig roll för att nå miljöcertifieringarnas krav. Dialog och delaktighet mellan de olika yrkesgrupperna var viktig, enligt respondenterna, för att miljöcertifieringen ska nå en hög kvalité och för att skapa engagemang och vilja att förbättra arbetet..

Syftet med uppsatsen var att förstå hur Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), en amerikansk kampsportstävling startad 1993 i USA, har legitimerat sin verksamhet, från att ha varit starkt kritiserad, till att nå framgång och internationell spridning. I sin linda under 90-talet gjorde dessa brutala, i princip oreglerade och slagsmålsliknande former, att tävlingen möttes av kritik från politiskt håll, vilket kom att hota organisationens överlevnad.UFCs legitimeringsprocess under 90-talet fram till en bit av 2000-talet visade på tydliga paralleller till boxningen, som under 1800-talet även den hotades av illegalitet. Så har också Norbert Elias och Eric Dunning, med bland annat boxningen som exempel, beskrivit hur (teorin om) civilisationens process påverkade fritidsaktiviteter till att bli vad vi idag kallar för sport. Avsnittet med historisk bakgrund över bl.a. boxning ämnar visa på dessa paralleller, med fokus på sporternas nära stundande illegalitet till förmån för en verksamhet som tvangs att bli mer reglerad och kontrollerad ? mer ?civiliserad?.Det som hotade UFC var dock inte direkt sett illegitimitet, utan utfrysning och hot från de medel som kunde styra sportens visibilitet, dvs.

This is a descriptive paper based on a questionnaire- and literature study regarding how dogs are trained, what type and frequency of injuries that occur as well as how the dogs are best prepared for work. Using the results from the questionnaire, an overview is given on how members of Working dog clubs train their dogs and what kind of injuries that occur most frequently. The average age among the dogs included in the study was only about three years. This could indicate that older dogs are not trained in the same extent as young dogs. The results show that only a third of the dog owners warmed up their dogs before training.

En av de senaste trenderna i USA är att utesluta vete i kosten.Syftet med denna uppsats är att skapa en förståelse i varför elitidrottare, utan konstaterad födoämnesallergi, väljer bort vete ur kosten. Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med fem elitidrottare på landslagsnivå inom tre olika sporter. Materialet tematiserades och analyserades.De intervjuade elitidrottarna ansåg att konsumtion av vete har en negativ inverkan på deras idrottsliga prestationer.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the handling of difficulties encountered by Swedish managers in Swedish subsidiaries in South Korea. By identifying the most common and possibly most manageable difficulties specific to the market we categorized them into three different groups; external difficulties, internal difficulties and difficulties related to the leadership. Depending on where in the environment and in relation to which stakeholder the difficulties originate the managing process comes to be supported through sometimes contradictory theories. Our study implies that the proper handling is crucial to satisfy local expectations which are critical for survival of Swedish companies. It also implies that the leadership skills acquired by the Swedish managers combined with the level of acceptance for foreign managers among the Korean coworkers affect how influential the manager?s ambitions are.

I denna studie analyseras gymnasiekatalogers bilder som beskriver tre gymnasieprogram (Barn- och fritidsprogrammet, Byggprogrammet och Naturvetenskapsprogrammet) ur ett genusperspektiv. Syftet är att undersöka huruvida bilderna ger uttryck för den könsuppdelade gymnasieskolan genom att visa det kön som är i majoritet på programmet.Resultaten visar att representationen av det kön som är i minoritet är högre på bilderna än den faktiska representationen på programmen i stort. Dock syns en tydlig skillnad i hur tjejer respektive killar porträtteras och i vilken miljö de befinner sig. Budskapet katalogerna sänder ut är att tjejer och killar bör välja, om inte olika program så olika inriktningar. Ett exempel som visar detta är Barn- och fritidsprogrammet där det nästan uteslutande är tjejer som visas med barn medan killar oftare befinner sig i utemiljöer där sport och friskvård är inblandat..
