The aim of this study was to examine how sports journalists used religious metaphors when covering football during the time span of the study, and how the athletes were portrayed as a result of the usage. The aim was also to study if the usage differed between the two newspapers chosen for the study, one of which is a morning paper (Dagens Nyheters sport section) and one which is an evening paper (Sportbladet).To answer our questions we used a quantitative and a qualitative method, the later of the two was based on a metaphor analysis. The quantitative method consisted of a content analysis where different variables were examined. The time span of the study is articles from one year.The results show that the religious metaphors were used in many ways. Some religious metaphors, such as ones including the word miracle, were more prominent than others.

Kvinnor är underrepresenterade i svenska bolagsstyrelser i förhållande till EUkommissionens rekommendation på 40 %. År 2016 kommer regeringen att föreslå en lag om kvotering om representationen av kvinnor i bolagsstyrelser vid denna tidpunkt inte är minst 40 %. Riksdagen har tidigare avslagit ett lagförslag om kvotering med motiveringen att det är ägarnas ansvar att säkerställa mångfald, kompetens och en jämn könsfördelning i styrelserna.Det är ägarna som via valberedningar tillsätter styrelseledamöter. Vi undersöker i denna uppsats om det finns något samband mellan andelen kvinnor i valberedningar och andelen kvinnor i bolagsstyrelser. Om det finns ett samband kan det vara ett sätt att uppnå en jämnare könsfördelning i bolagsstyrelser utan en kvoteringslagstiftning.

Based on a review of literature on evalution of public activities and in purpose to introduce amore general framework, this study describes a picture of the concept, context, motives,strategies, use and actors in Evaluation as these are experienced outside the field of libraryand information. The background is the increased need for" evaluations in public libaries and aneed for new LIS knowledge about it. The reviewed literature has its origin in differentdisciplinary contexts and the study include contributions from policy studies, sociologi,education research, business administration, philosophy and anthropology. The focus, though,is not placed upon differences in the literature but on similarities.The review is organised in six parts. In the first part a presentation is given of how evaluationsare conceptualized and its meaning in a historical perspective.

With the rise of the internet especially and information- and communication technology in general, the opportunities for fast and effective communication and sharing of information have proliferated. In relation to the new technologies, the citizens? demands on organizations? communicative efforts have increased. Today?s citizens have high standards regarding transparency, the opportunity to dialogue and have hopes to influence the public sector.

Due to the forest industry downsizing, many communities in rural forest regions in Canada and Sweden are facing problems to survive. In order to create community sustainability, resilience and well-being in remote forest regions, the view on the forest resources has shifted towards multiple use, through the concept of sustainable forest management (SFM). Beside the economic and ecological elements of sustainability, the social forest values are needed, contributing to the human well-being, local participation, stakeholder collaboration, human rights and cultural connection. In this thesis the embodiment of the social component of SFM within Prince Albert Model Forest (Canada), and Vilhelmina Model Forest (Sweden) will be examined. Being partners and facing similar challenges as rural boreal forest regions, the two model forests are compared through analysis of projects and activities, conducted interviews and organization documents. Looking at projects mentioned as successful by the interviewees, they all have elements from the social values of SFM. The direction can be explained by the introduction of the Forest Communities Program in Canada, demanding the Model Forests to work towards community stability and resilience, the Model Forest organization concept itself and the way global focus are increasing around social forest values. In the future, it may be important that the role of the MFs enable some kind of political authorization and legitimacy in order to improve conflict solving and indigenous rights equality.

PurposeThe purpose with this C-essay is to give a description of disordered eating in sports. Further, I also wanted to make a survey of the knowledge of the trainers and their attitudes to eating disorders within sports. I will bring a good view of the problem. I hope that it will give a wider knowledge, acceptance and understanding for the problem. Hopeful can that making the problem smaller and also making it easier for those who are afflicted, the trainer and other peoples.MethodI have used two methods; a study of previous studies and other information and also a questionnaire.

The purpose of this study was to examine the process of developing an identity as a skateboarder during adolescence. Our aim was to, from the actors? point of view explore what impact their values, experiences and thoughts have on their identity as individuals as well as a collectivity. We also investigated which symbols that are significant for this group. For this essay a qualitative method was used; we conducted nine individual interviews and one group interview with young skaters from the ages of 15-17.

Mot bakgrund av de utmaningar som välfärdsstaten ställs inför i form av globaliseringen, internationaliseringen och minskande offentliga resurser måste nya sätt att främja tillväxt hittas. Därmed är statens och offentliga aktörer s möjligheter att främja näringslivsutveckling och tillväxt av intresse, liksom vilka konsekvenser de olika möjligheterna medför.I och med utvecklingen från government och governance har lösare former av samarbeten fått ett allt större utrymme i svensk politik. Detta poängterar bland andra Vedung (2006), som ser en stark trend mot samverkan i nätverk och partnerskap. Vilka effekter som detta får ur demokrati- och effektivitetsperspektiv kan dock diskuteras. Peter Gorpe, svensk analytiker och utredare, konstaterar dessutom att partnerskap som begrepp är ?luddigt?, vilket inte underlättar slutsatser kring partnerskapens effektivitet och demokratiska förankring.Denna studie fokuserar på Strukturfondspartnerskapet i Östra Mellansverige, vilket utgör ett av åtta regionala svenska partnerskap som ansvarar för att prioritera mellan ansökningar för regionalfondsmedel.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka samband mellan hur universitetsstudenter skattar sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå och hur de registrerar aktivitetsnivå med hjälp av dagbok samt att se om de kom upp i ACSM (American College of Sport Medicine) och WHO´s (World Health Organisation) rekommendationer.Metod: Studien hade en icke experimentell, deskriptiv och korrelerande design där 26 försökspersoner, två män och 24 kvinnor, rekryterades via anslag. De fick först svara på en enkät och därefter registrera sin aktivitet via en 7-dagars aktivitetsdagbok.Resultat: Studenterna ansåg inte att de hade en stillasittande livsstil och alla deltagare utom en ansåg sig komma upp till ACSM´s rekommendationer av fysisk aktivitet 30 minuter per dag av måttlig intensitet alla dagar i veckan. Trettiofem procent kom inte upp i WHO´s rekommendationer och av dessa överskattade 67% sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå. Sextiofem procent kom inte upp i ACSM´s rekommendationer och av dessa överskattade 94% sin aktivitetsnivå.Konklusion: Studenterna hade en låg fysisk aktivitetsnivå utifrån ACSM´s rekommendationer och majoriteten av de som inte levde upp till WHO och ACSM rekommendationer överskattade sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå. Det krävs dock mer omfattande studier för att dra några generella slutsatser då denna studie hade en skev könsfördelning och ett lågt antal deltagare.Keywords: Self-estimation, Perception, Activity diary, Physical Activity level, Overestimation. .

Senaste åren har det uppdagats flertalet bolagsskandaler världen över, där de i vissa fall kan relateras till en bristande intern kontroll. Detta har föranlett att marknaden och aktieägarna tappat förtroendet för den finansiella rapporteringen. Åtgärder genom en tydligare lagstiftning har vidtagits för revisionsarbete i syfte att säkerställa företagens interna kontroll och därmed öka förtroendet hos intressenterna. Regelverken, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, The Combined Code och Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning tangerar alla området bolagsstyrning och därigenom även det interna kontrollsystemet. De nämnda regelverken har en gemensam nämnare, det vill säga införlivandet av revisionsutskott i organisationerna för att kvalitetssäkra den interna kontrollen.

And also why the usage of loanwords occur.The purpose of our study is to find out how frequent English loanwords are in Swedish sports journalism.

Företag på NASDAQ OMXS Small Cap har sedan 2008 omfattats av svensk kod för bolagsstyrning, Koden. Kodens målgrupp är företagen men syftet är att främja investerares och aktieägares intressen. Det är således rimligt att ställa krav på att Kodens regler är av hög kvalité utifrån deras perspektiv. I studien undersöks vilka samband som existerar mellan reglerna i Koden angående styrelsen och Small Cap företagens lönsamhet, mätt som räntabilitet på totalt kapital. Sambanden används sedan för att avgöra om reglerna i Koden är korrekt utformade eller om de behöver modifieras.

För att möta kommande klimatförändringar behövs klimatanpassning vilket innebär att skydda samhället mot klimatförändringarna och ta tillvara eventuella möjligheter. Olika länder har tillämpat olika sätt att styra anpassning, vilka generellt kan delas in i top-down och bottom-up styrning. Dessa styrformer generar olika problem och möjligheter för implementering. Till exempel så brister ofta styrning genom top-down implementeringen på lokal nivå, medan bottom-up ofta försvåras av att lokala aktörer saknar resurser i implementering. I denna litteratur och dokumentsbaserade studie undersöker vi aktuell forskning och policydokument för att med stöd av Environmental Governance-teorin, klargöra styrningsformernas uppbyggnad, effektivitet, problem och möjligheter.

Introduction:By insight in the company and by monitoring the management, the board has an important function in creating trust in governance of the company. Furthermore, the board reduces the asymmetry of information between the owners and the management, which also is the function of the auditor, by auditing how the board governs the company and the accounting. In case the board does not effectively monitor the management, the auditor has to extend its monitoring, which increases the owners agency costs through the audit fee. The board composition can affect how effectively the board practices the monitoringProblem: How is the audit fee affected by the board composition?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explain how the board composition affects the audit fee.Method: The study uses a quantitative method, where the data was collected from the annual reports of 112 limited companies listed on the NASDAQ OMX Large and Mid Cap lists on January 2, 2012.

Förflyttningshjälpmedel kan skapa svårigheter att ta sig fram i den fysiska miljön, vilket kallas tillgänglighetsproblem. Användbarhetsproblem kan också uppstå, som innebär att personen inte kan göra det han eller hon vill i den fysiska miljön. Lek och rekreation är viktiga aktiviteter för barn. Syftet med denna studie var att få förståelse för vilka platser barn som använder förflyttningshjälpmedel väljer för lek och rekreation i sin närmiljö, samt få förståelse för vilka upplevelser som är knutna till platserna. Gåturer genomfördes med tre barn, åtta och tio år som använde förflyttningshjälpmedel med hjul.
