Gamification av digitalt lärande : En studie av attityder om spelelement i lärplattformar

Society today is characterized by the transforming effect IT has had, the majority of the activities we perform on a daily basis involves one way or another digital technology. One area which has not yet seen the positive effects of IT is education. Despite the progress of technology, the school education has barely changed since it first saw the light of day. Our goal with this study is to investigate the possibility of implementing Gamification elements in educational environments and examine whether it could increase our young students learning motivation. We believe that this kind of implementation will have a positive effect for these young people since they have been interacting with games since they were small and are familiar with the driving force of a reward system. With this study we want to examine the opportunities and challenges that Gamification implementation brings out in a learning environment and therefore encourage and motivate our young ones to study even harder..

Praktisk och teoretisk matematik - Ur pedagogers synvinkel

In previous contact with secondary schools, we have noticed a dull setting for friluftsliv among teachers in Physical Education and Health. We suspected that both teaching and assessment are sometimes conducted in error. Under the provisions of Skolverket the teacher must involve all elements mentioned in the core content of the curriculum and the assessment of students' knowledge may be based only on what is expressed in the syllabus for each course. Research shows that the implementation of the curriculum have failed in the subjects investigated (Skolinspektionen, 2013:22). We have identified a gap of knowledge regarding the situation of friluftsliv in the course physical education 1.

Livslångt och lustfyllt? : En utvärdering av konstpedagogiskt lärande

Great potential lay in facilitating the learning experience by art exhibitions, and the possibility of designing exhibitions that make visitors attracted to learn. The purpose of the present work is to study the means of creating favorable conditions for lifelong and enjoyable learning in art exhibitions. The concept of learning has multiple definitions, and several have been used effectively in various ways in preceding works. The underlying principle of this work is that visitors learn by actively processing information in their own minds and through experiences. KRAFT I ARM OCH MOD I BARM. F?ktundervisning i skolan 1874-1920

The purpose of this paper is to provide clarity into the poorly understood topic of mandatory fencing in the Swedish education system. Sweden, like many other European nations, was subject to strong nationalistic winds during the 19th century, from which the idea of a citizen soldier arose. By making fencing part of the school curriculum the Swedish state hoped to invigorate its male population, with the ultimate goal of reclaiming the nation's status as a military superpower. This paper explores the topic by using qualitative research methods to observe the internal debate in the official journal for physical education teachers between the years 1874 and 1920. What status did fencing as a school subject have? How was it implemented and what was taught? What obstacles did it face? How did it vary between the bourgeoisie and the peasantry? How did it vary over time? The findings show a school subject that was heavily regulated and propped up by both the state and conservative gymnasts of the Swedish Ling tradition.

FÖRVÅNANDE KAPABEL - kroppslighet och rumslighet i fem kvinnors erfarenheter av parkour

My materialconsist of interviews with five Swedish women who regularly perform parkour.Through the phenomenology of Simone de Beauvoir, Iris Marion Young and SaraAhmed, I analyze the women?s relationship to the body and (public) space. Myconclusion is that engaging in parkour has changed the way the women understandtheir own corporeality, from an ?I cannot? to an ?I can?.
