Those in the older age group however, present themselves in a more consequent matter based upon the visibility their actions have to all their friends on Facebook as a whole. The definitions of certain elements on Facebook, such as what constitutes private information or anexcess of photo-tags, differ between the two age groups. Comments and feedback differ in importance and effect between the two age groups. Those in the younger age group are more likely to modify their attitudes towards their identities based upon the functions of Facebook.

Världen blir allt mer globaliserad och många företag väljer att försöka etablera sig påutländska marknader. Då varje lands marknad är unik kommer målmarknaden alltid att ivissa aspekter skilja sig från den inhemska marknaden. Att identifiera dessa skillnader äravgörande för att företagens internationalisering skall lyckas. Även mellan närliggandemarknader, som ur många perspektiv kan vara likartade, existerar skillnader inom kultur,organisationsstruktur och andra områden. Dessa kan vara väl maskerade och med dettaföljer en risk att företag antar att marknaderna är mer lika än vad de i realiteten är.Med denna uppsats ämnar författarna att analysera betydelsen av psykisk och institutionelldistans mellan närliggande marknader vid internationalisering av ett företag.

Nathan Söderblom var ett levande band mellan Europas folkkyrkor, en andes budbärare, som blev hörd och förstådd överallt och genom vilken människor från skilda världar lättade upp sitt hjärta för varandra. Han vann snart nog en erkänd ställning som en av protestantismens ledande personligheter, och hans namn blev till sist ett av de få stora som världen känner.Eftersom hans starka personlighet ligger i grund för hans ekumeniska verksamhet, säger jag några ord om Söderblom som person. The purpose of this thesis is to historically describe how Fédération Internationale deFootball Association (FIFA) interprets how the discourse of anti-racism has developed withintheir own organization throughout the years. In doing so, the thesis lands in a present timeperspective and then aims to identify the norms which FIFA, according to the organizationitself, stands for in regard to anti-racism within world football. That standard of behavior isthen put in contrast with the hidden ideological conceptions which, with the applying of apost-colonial perspective, can be found in the rhetoric used by FIFA in expressing themselvesabout their anti-racism stand.The methodology used in this thesis builds upon a qualitative text analysis approach inwhich solely primary sources available through the official website fifa.com are considered.The study finds that anti-racism is a relatively young concept within FIFA and that the communicatedideal standard of behavior circles around terms such as unity, diversity, solidarityand equality. Further on, FIFA clearly articulates how the universal power of football as suchcan unite people and that FIFA, as the administrator of this the world?s greatest sport, can setan example for the rest of the world to follow when it comes to notions of tolerance and solidarityin preventing racism in the future.In following the terminology provided by the post-colonial theorists Homi Bhabha andGyatri Spivak, and applying the concepts of fixity and essentialism on the rhetoric aroundanti-racism, the study discovers that FIFA, in sharp contrast to the articulated norms, in factexpress ideological conceptions of skin as a barrier of difference between people, and thatFIFA on good grounds can be accused of reproducing racist stereotypes rather than bridgingthem.The study concludes that its findings clearly demonstrates the increased need of consideringsports, and more specifically international sport organizations, as a basis for researchwithin the academic field of International Relations, and that a postcolonial perspective verymuch can provide alternative understandings of how these actors operate and what influencethey might have in the international system..

Effects of Menstrual Cycle and Oral Contraceptives on Sport Performance During the menstrual cycle, there is a variation of the female steriod hormones estrogen and progestogen. These hormones has mainly reproduktive functions, but do also affect other physiological systems, which may have an influence on athletic performance. The use of oral contraceptives among female athletes matches the use among the general population. There is a concern among female athletes and there coaches weather oral contraceptives can affect the performance. The purpose of this litterature review is to determine the effect of the menstrual cycle and the use of oral contraceptives on athletic performance.

Veterinary hospital care and advanced veterinary services are rapidly growing industries. As of January 1, 2010, veterinary nursing became a licensed vocation, the title of veterinary nurse became protected, and the act regulating competence among the professions of the veterinary field was extended. These changes, along with increased demands and expectations from owners, have given rise to greater demands on the staff's qualifications and have increased the need for well-educated staff with expertise in several different areas. The aim of this study was to find out what the licensed veterinary nurse can do in terms of rehabilitation for the hospitalized equine patient suffering from orthopedic injury. This has been carried out through qualitative interviews with veterinary surgeons experienced in treating such patients, and also by reviewing the relevant literature.

The horse has been domesticated for several thousand years. It has gone from being used primarily for food and transportation, to become one of the most popular pets in Sweden. With over 150,000 practitioners, horseback riding is one of the biggest sports in Sweden and there is a variety of specializations to choose from. One orientation is western riding which is a broad sport with several disciplines where most originate in cattle work and other ranch tasks. Western riding is a growing sport in Sweden with an increasing number of practitioners and with many different organizations and associations, it is important that the correct knowledge of the equipment used is disseminated. Artificial aids are available in a variety of designs and the most common variants used by western riders in Sweden is draw reins or some forms of martingale.

This study presents a survey of the seroprevalence of Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora spp. in equids in three municipalities in Pará, a Brazilian state with the Amazonian rainforest and the Amazon River as dominating features. Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora spp. are two closely related parasitic protozoans not separated as different genera until 1988. Neospora spp.

Den här studiens syfte var att studera den specifika kontext som uppstår mellan en viss förälder och ett visst barn inom samma familj, för att explorativt utforska de faktorer som kan tänkas påverka anknytningskvalitén. Detta gjordes via studien av anknytningsmönstret för tre par vuxna tvåäggstvillingar, i ålder 26-29 år, av samma kön. Studien gjordes med hjälp av anknytningsintervjun "Adult Attachment Interview" (AAI). Genom att studera tvillingar fick man till stånd en situation där två individer, med samma grad av genetisk likhet som syskon, har mött sina föräldrar vid samma tidpunkt i livet. På så vis är variationen i faktorer såsom skilda kön, yttre skilda omständigheter, föräldrarnas ålder och livssituation, etc., exkluderade.

Ordet spel och dess betydelse är svårt att beskriva. Spel har många definitioner och studien kommer därför att använda ordet spel för att beskriva applikationer, datorspel, hemsidor och geografiska verktyg. Jag är uppmärksammad på att det finns stora skillnader mellan datorspel och exempelvis Google Earth och har inte som avsikt att klassificera dessa som samma. Dock kommer samtliga att beskrivas som spel eller teknologi, främst för att det underlättar läsningen. Idag använder allt fler personer dator och Internet.

Det förväntas att var tredje person i Sverige någon gång under sin livstid kommer att drabbas av cancer. Upplevelserna av att leva med en cancersjukdom är individuella då patienter är unika individer bestående av kropp, själ och ande. Det lidande cancersjukdomen medför kan leda till att patienterna ifrågasätter sin egen tillvaro på ett biologiskt, psykologiskt och existentiellt plan. För att sjuksköterskor skall kunna ge god omvårdnad till cancersjuka patienter krävs det att de får en ökad förståelse för patienternas livsvärldar. Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa patienters upplevelser av att leva med obotlig cancersjukdom när livets slut är nära.

Ridning är Sveriges näst största sport, bara fotbollen är större. För många tjejer är stallet mer än en plats där själva sporten utövas. Stallet blir till en slags fritidsgård där nästan all ledig tid spenderas, även om själva ridaktiviteten ibland utförs endast en gång per vecka. Vad stallvistelsen betyder för tjejernas identitetsutveckling vet vi inte särskilt mycket om. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på hur tiden i stallet påverkar tjejerna i deras identitetsutveckling.Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ metod.

Syfte och frågeställningI hur stor utsträckning används tävlingspraktiken i Idrott och Hälsa, och hur påverkar detta ämnets karaktär?Jag ska i min undersökning försöka se hur elever i skolan upplever tävlingar under idrotten i skolan. Jag kommer att använda mig av Lars-Magnus Engströms (2002) teori om idrottens praktiker och logiker, vilka redogörs närmare för under punkten Teoretiskt perspektiv. Jag vill finna de känslor och tankar som uppstår då eleverna försätts i den s.k. tävlingspraktiken, där aktiviteten i sig handlar om jämförande.

The purpose of this essay, entitled ?Heja Sverige! Heia Norge?, was to study the difference in nationalistic tendencies between Swedish and Norwegian news coverage of the 2015 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun, Sweden, which took place between 18 February and 1 March 2015. It was the fourth time the event took place in Falun, previous games having been held in 1954, 1974 and 1993.I performed a critical discourse analysis of a total of twelve articles split over two race days ? one where Swedish athletes outperformed Norwegian athletes and vice versa. I did this order to study if the news coverage in each of the two countries? most promininent sports papers; Sportbladet in Sweden and VG Sport in Norway, was charaterized by a nationalistic discourse, as well as comparing the two to find similarities and differences between them.Having based my analysis on theories and previous research regarding media events, nationalism, national identities, ?us and them?, imagined communities et cetera, I came to the conclusion that a nationalistic discourse is, without a doubt, present in the news coverage ? something very unique for sports journalism as a genre.

This study aims to find out what happens with the roles that are seemingly left behind. Are there roles that are harder or easier to exercise? Available roles with us through life and affect our future decisions or we switched completely away from them and create new roles based on the situations we find ourselves in at the moment? The aim is also to see how the relationship looks like between closed roles and new roles in life. To try to find this out, I have used the narrative method. The study is based largely on Goffman's theories of roles, behind and above the front- and back stage.
