Bakgrund och problem: Uppsatsen tar sin bakgrund i den finanskris som råder på marknaden. Situationen idag gör att företagen måste jobba med att effektivisera sitt resursutnyttjande och se till att använda det som finns i verksamheten. Många företag har redan investerat i stora BI-lösningar utan att för den delen få ut något större värde av investeringen. Förutom att öka resursutnyttjandet måste företagen idag fatta bättre beslut snabbare. Med grund i att företag är i behov av att förbättra användningen av sina system kommer studien fokusera på hur företag kan gå tillväga för att få ett effektivt användande av sitt BI-system.

I sjuksköterskans kompetensområde ingår således att utöva andlig omvårdnad.Med syftet att undersöka sjuksköterskans attityder till en andlig aspekt av omvårdnad,vilka hinder som finns för att utöva detta och vilka vårdhandlingar som kan tänkas ingåinom detta fält har en litteraturstudie genomförts. Litteraturstudien omfattade 13vetenskapliga artiklar. Data analyserades genom att använda en metod inspirerad avGraneheim & Lundmans innehållsanalys. Resultatet presenterades uppdelat under treområden: attityder, hinder samt vårdhandlingar.

The purpose of the study was to discover how nurses can maintain a good quality of life for cancerpatients at the end of life. We examined seven scientific articles in accordance with Polit, Beck & Hungler (2001) criteria for scientific validity. We used Carnevali's (1996) model of demand and resources as a frame of reference. The results showed that physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs affect quality of life in different ways. Genom att föreslå modeller och IT-stöd samt hur de används kan företag upprätta ett omvärldsanalysarbete utan att hyra in extern hjälp. Större företag har ofta en större budget och även resurser som aktivt arbetar med att bevaka omvärlden. Den sortens resurser finns inte i mindre företag eftersom kostnaden att hyra in konsulter för hjälp med omvärldsanalysarbete är för hög. Det i kombination med att kunskap saknas om hur ett omvärldsanalysarbete kan genomföras resulterar i att det ofta inte blir av.

The goal for this thesis work was to develop Business Intelligence (BI) for an IT consultant company.LexiConsult is an IT consultant company in the Lexicon-group which offers expertise within Office (templates, database, spreadsheets, Outlook etc.) but also SharePoint development and services like support, documentation etcetera.We have investigated the functionality in SharePoint and MS SQL Server and have also evaluated which possibilities these platforms offer in terms of creating a BI-solution for LexiConsults needs. SharePoint offers a variety of different tools and services for BI but none of these where available in the Office365-version which LexiConsult uses. Another solution was therefore suggested where the reports should be published on a web hosting company.We have also studied critical success factors when implementing BI in an IT consulting company.The result is a set of BI-reports developed for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), which the staff of LexiConsult can access via their SharePoint site.The reports are designed for monitoring and analysis of the economy with e.g. key performance indicators, drill-down of the revenue in different aspects such as by time period, per employee, per customer etcetera. Business Intelligence (BI) is a competitive concept for enterprises to consider. The concept is based on the idea of using business data in order to effectively analyze activities within an enterprise in order to enhance decision processes in the organization.The purpose with this study is to help Akademibokhandeln AB to analyze what BI-requirements they may have, and to create a recommendation on what sort of BI-tool that would fit the enterprise's needs.The requirements analysis was conducted with the help of internal personnel. Four different tools on the BI-market have been examined, analyzed and compared: IBM Cognos 8 (IBM Cognos), Microstrategy 9 (MCST), Qlikview 9 (Qlikview), and SAP Business Objects BI (SAP BO). These tools have been compared with the help of two models (BRI and BCI) that is based on the BI-requirements analysis, with the cost aspect taken into consideration in the BCI-model.Using the BRI-model, the comparison results in a technical evaluation. Here, IBM Cognos gets the highest result just ahead of MCST and SAP BO.
