Luleå Hamn hanterar årligen 350 000 ton petroleumprodukter. Av hanteringen uppstår spill. 1980 byggdes en reningsanläggning för oljeskadat vatten. Den var dimensionerad för att ta emot en viss mängd vatten. Dagens miljölagstiftning och förbättrade rutiner har minskat mängden föroreningar och även mängden inkommande vatten.

Detta examensarbete har gjorts åt Luossavaara Kiirunavaara aktiebolag (LKAB). Företagets vilja är att förbättra brytningen och förädlingen av järngenom hela processen. Ett sätt är att få en effektivare malmproduktion är att få en inblick i det spill som uppkommer genom processen. Det problem som behandlas i detta examensarbete är spillet från Kirunas anrikningsverk, då nuvarande provtagare inte tar representativa prover. Anrikningsverket är ett av tre förädlingsverk, i anrikningen finkrossas malmen och skiljs från gråberg och fosfor innan den transporteras till kulsinterverket.

I de nordliga regionerna förekommer kallt klimat under vinterhalvåren. Som en följd bildas is i älvarna vilket kan påverka produktionen för ett vattenkraftverk negativt. Vattenfall AB äger en mängd vattenkraftverk som årligen drabbas av produktionsförluster under vintertiden. Syftet med detta examensarbete är därför att kvantifiera och analysera Vattenfalls isrelaterade produktionsförluster inom de svenska gränserna. Huvudsakligen behandlar denna rapport de fallförluster som isen orsakar över intagsgrindarna och i älvsträckorna nedströms Vattenfalls vattenkraftstationer.

The varieties of paint are today very big, but many of the more popular paints are less than environmental friendly. The uses of fossilized fuel in paints are common because these paints dry fast and are color true. It would be beneficial for the environment if more renewable source were used to produce paint. Linseed oil is an old base for oil paints. It is renewable and easily procured.

I denna rapport redovisas en studie av det nya justerverket vid JGA:s (JG Anderssons söner AB) sågverk i Linneryd. Studien är inriktad på åtgärder som kan öka produktiviteten samt förbättra arbetsprocessen. De faktorer som studerats i justerverket är produktivitet, spill, kvalitetsutfall, kostnad/förtjänst och tillgången på sorteringsfack. Beräkningar av faktorerna har utförts med användning av lagrade driftsdata från justerverket. I arbetet ingår en jämförelse med driftsdata från det gamla nu utbytta justerverket.

This thesis focuses on brand strength as a moderating factor of negative publicity.

In my work I have chosen to examine the profitability for small scale production of hemp briquettes. My study also includes a review of which briquette technique that is the most common one among small scale producers. The reason that I have chosen this subject is because of the discussions about climate and energy that we face almost every day. I also think the subject is extra interesting in these days when the grain prizes are at a historic high level. In order for me to achieve a reliable report, a hemp and briquette producer has given me the actual data from his farm. In that way I have been able to make my calculations from a concrete perspective.

LKAB har som mål att utöka produktionen av järnmalmsprodukter till 37 miljoner ton år 2015. Det planeras att öppna tre nya gruvor i närheten av Svappavaara och dessa ska förse Svappavaaras förädlingsverk med rågods. I nuläget används endast rågods från Kiruna och Gruvberget, och det är av intresse att kartlägga processdata med dessa malmer som rågods för att etablera ett nolläge. På det sättet finns det kända referenser när verken i Svappavaara förses med rågods från andra dagbrott och gruvor.Syftet med examensarbetet var att göra en flödesbalans över produktionen i Svappavaaras verk för att skapa en nulägesanalys. Energi- och järnförluster identifierades och möjligheten till återvinning av vatten och spill från pelletsverket studerades.

This essay aims to explore the development of the common foreign and security policy within the European Union as well as the recent addition of the post of High representative in the field of the common foreign and security policy. This essay will attempt to achieve this trough exploring the questions; how have the aim of the European foreign policy developed, how the forms of cooperation has within this field developed and finally what impact will the recent addition of a high representative for the common foreign and security have. My aim is to answer these questions with the help of neo-functionalism.The results that came out of this essay point to the direction that the neo- functionalist premise about spill over effects and the notion about increased supranational influence turn out to have some validity in them. The study has shown that during the time the cooperation within the field of foreign and security policy have developed it is possible to see that supranational institutions will gain influence when the scope of integration within a policy area widens and deepens..

Real-time systems are required to answer to external stimuli within a specified time-period. For this to be possible, the systems behaviour must be predictable. The use of active databases in real-time systems introduces unpredictability in the system, e.g. due to their use of active rules. The behaviour in active databases is usually specified in ECA-rules.

Detta examensarbete är utfört vid LKAB avdelning PPK (produktion planering Kiruna). LKAB är ett gruvföretag vars huvudsakliga uppgift är att bryta järnmalm för produktion av malmpellets. Vid produktion av malmpellets åtgår det olika tillsatser och det uppstår även restprodukter från denna produktion. Både tillsatserna samt restprodukterna hanteras i Kiruna via lagerområde UNIO. Huvudansvaret för detta område ligger på avdelningen PPK medan det operativa ansvaret ligger på dotterbolaget KGS.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera lean som processtyrningsansats i de två olika kontexterna tillverkning och hälso- och sjukvård. | Metod: Vi har genomfört en jämförande undersökning av explorativ karaktär genom flerfallstudier. Vi använder oss av en metod där vi utifrån vår empiri drar slutsatser och skapar prövbara hypoteser. | Teoretiska perspektiv: Vi har använt oss av teorier utifrån Lean Thinking; Specify value, Identify the value stream, Flow, Pull och Perfection. Även Kaizen har varit betydande.

Hemp is an old agricultural plant and has been used for hundreds of years for making textiles, ropes and other fibre products. In the middle of the last century the Swedish government prohibited all growing of hemp. Natural fibres were replaced by syntetic fibres instead. Today there is a newly awakened interest for using natural fibres from renewable materials. Growing of industrial hemp for fiber is allowed in Sweden again. I want in my Paper give Swedish growers an insight of which harvesting methods that have been tried in Sweden and how they worked.

Trioplanex International AB is a part of the group Trioplast Industrier AB, which produces packaging materials for the film and hygiene industry. The group is active throughout Europe, where most of the production is located in Sweden, with head office in Smålandsstenar. Operations in Landskrona consist of Trioplanex International AB and Trioplast Landskrona.Semi-finished articles consisting of paper cores, so called bobbins, give rise to a high amount of core waste in any form of core cutting. The objective of the report is to map out all core waste and illustrate the material flow with regard to present layout and equipment.In the beginning of the project an analysis of the current process was carried out with focus on the cutting equipment. A case study in the form of an improvement work took place in order to reduce the causes which had the biggest impact on existing machinery.Improvement proposals were discussed by the author together with supervisor, assigner and other parties involved.
