Evolution och tillståndsmaskiner är kända koncept inom både AI-forskning och spelindustrin. Tillståndsmaskiner har länge använts för att simulera artificella motståndare, samtidigt som evolution i många fall applicerats för att få agenter att själva upptäcka bra lösningar på problem. Arbetet använder sig av evolution för att undersöka om det går att evolvera fram bättre tillståndsövergångar i en stokastisk tillståndsmaskin än hos en fördefinierad tillståndsmaskin. Två homogena lag med två agenter vardera skapas, vilka tävlar på en arena där det går ut på att döda det andra laget först. Det ena laget delar en ständigt evolverande beteendemall medan det andra laget består av fördefinierade agenter, på så sätt att de har bedömts som duktiga på att spela spelet.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka distriktlagstränarnas syn på hur ungdomar i J/Hförbereds tekniskt, taktiskt och socialt för att spela fotboll på elitnivå samt förslag påförändringar för att uppnå högre resultat. Metod: Fyra distriktstränare för pojkar ochflickor i J/H intervjuades med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Genom innehållsanalyskondenserades svaren för att korta ner intervjun men samtidigt behålla kärnan ibudskapet. Intervjuerna innehöll fem teman talang, tidiga avhopp från fotbollen,budskap/lärande, omgivning och satsning mot elit. Resultatet från studien visade atttalang är subjektivt och svårt att definiera.

I detta arbete studeras hur förslagsverksamhet kan utformas i ett företag eller en organisation och vilka effekter den utformningen kan ha. En kvalitativ fallstudie har utförts på SSAB Tunnplåt AB i Luleå, där platschefen, förslagssekreteraren, fyra remisspersoner och fem förslagsställare har intervjuats för att ge sin syn på förslagsverksamheten. Förslagsverksamhet är ett systematiskt sätt för ett företag att samla in, utvärdera, genomföra och belöna de anställdas idéer. Det finns flera orsaker till varför ett företag väljer att ha en förslagsverksamhet, alltifrån rent ekonomiska till demokratiska, humanistiska och arbetsmoraliska aspekter kan spela in eller en blandning av alla. På senare tid har förslagsverksamhet blivit alltmer accepterat och fått större betydelse, vilket gör frågan om hur den utformas aktuell.
