The aim of this thesis is to investigate the local debate on the Music library in VĂ€stervik to see what arguments, pro et contra, that constitutes it. Since its opening the Music library has faced regular threats of being closed down. This is an issue interesting due to several factors, its lack of guaranteed public funding and relative importance to VĂ€stervikÂŽs attempts at city branding being two. Using argument analysis, the thesis proposes that the local debate shows traces of both instrumental and culture centered, intrinsical views of the Music library, and that the instrumental view holds both negative and positive poles of opinion while the intrinsical counterpart is one-sidedly positive. Further, the thesis argues that this is in line with a long since documented shift in cultural politics towards a more market oriented discourse..

Detta examensarbete undersöker om och hur man med hjÀlp av filskillnader kan effektivisera uppdateringar av datorspel. Flertalet olika tester med deltaenkodning har utförts, detta pÄ olika versioner av filer frÄn kommersiella och aktuella spel. Bland annat har försöken med deltaenkodning jÀmförts med de officiella speluppdateringarna, och med vanlig komprimering av de aktuella filerna. Resultaten visar att anvÀndning av deltaenkodning pÄ de filer som Àndrats mellan spelens versioner kan vara mycket effektivare och ta mindre plats Àn de officiella speluppdateringarna..

We have produced a process mapping and from there developed a document management plan for the research service at the Labour Movement Archives and Library (ARAB) in Stockholm, Sweden. The project was conducted during five weeks in the spring of 2011 at ARAB and the resulting classification structure and document plan has been formulated and presented to the staff at a seminar. We found that the institution in some cases were suffering from an inadequate documentation in a number of the identified processes, and also in their records management and archiving. In this additional memorandum follows an analyzing discussion of activity-based document- and archive management, e-archives and process mapping. We have accordingly tried to standardize the process of research services and contribute to a more adequate document management within the institution.

I detta arbete har vi försökt fÄ kunskap kring ett datorspels potential i en matematikundervisning dÀr kursplanens mÄl i skolÄr fem för Àmnet har varit i Ätanke. Högskoleförordningen (SFS 2006:173) föreskriver akademiska krav i kursplan och kursmÄl för bÄde grund- och avancerad nivÄ i sjuksköterskeutbildningar. I svensk sjuksköterskeförening, pÄ lÀrosÀten och i klinisk verksamhet pÄgÄr diskussioner om hur dessa teoretiska krav ska förenas i klinisk praktik. Syftet var att belysa faktorer av betydelse för handledarskapet pÄ grund och avancerad nivÄ och undersöka handledningsstrategier som kan förenar teori och verksamhetsförlagd utbildning för sjuksköterske- och specialistsjuksköterskestuderande. Metoden var en litteraturstudie som baserades pÄ 11 vetenskapliga artiklar som kritiskt grans-kades och analyserades. Resultatet visar att det förutsÀtts ett vÀl fungerande samarbete mellan fakultet och klinisk verksamhet med tydligt formulerade kursplaner, mÄl och riktlinjer för handledning och stöd till handledare frÄn fakultet och verksamhet.

The purpose of the study was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home. The respondents are between 15-21 years both boys and girls. The basic questions were: How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service process? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service contents? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service regarding available information and how the staff is available? What positive and negative experience do they have from their stay at the HVB-home? We also wish to get a picture of what is important to change to improve the quality on this HVB-home. To receive answers to those questions we formed a questionnaire.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore the phenomenon called bookcrossing. To fulfill this I have asked the following research questions: Why do people participate in bookcrossing?What functions do books have for bookcrossers? The method used is qualitative, semi structured interviews. Four active bookcrossers have been interviewed. These interviews revealed that bookcrossing as an activity in a medium sized town is very small.

This is a study of the work of a Danish music teacher at a free school (grade 1 9) in Copenhagen. The teaching is based explicitly on playing in ensemble and the pupils play at a high artistic level compared to a normal school. Data collection was made during three days with the help of observation, video recording and qualitative interviews. The report contains video clips where the pupils and the teacher play together. The great differences between this model of teaching and the normal, lie in the teacher participation in the music making, the central role of the rhythms, the early start (grade two), the form of songs and arrangements and the lack of notation in favor of music making by ear.

The aim of this paper is to investigate who the visitors are at a children's department at amain library in a larger municipality, and for what purpose they use it. We discuss: Is therea difference between various user groups, and if so, how do they differ'? Which library rolesdoes the children's department have? Does the children's department serve as a local libraryfor those who live in the immediate surroundings or as a main library for the whole municipality?The paper is based on a user survey performed in the spring of 1996 at the City Library ofGothenburg. 417 visitors and five staff members were interviewed.The children's department is used by various groups of people, from young children to seniorcitizens. The library roles are, among other things, an independent learning center and formaleducation support center.

The purpose of this essay is to study the process of developing electronic subject guides for the Internet. Our focus is the content, structure and layout of the subject guide. The study has resulted in a number of guidelines that may be of help in the development of future subject guides. To achieve this purpose we have studied the existing subject guide at one of the faculties of the University of Lund, Sweden. We performed a series of interviews with the originators, and made a questionnaire for the users.

Under de senaste Ären har flertalet stÀmningar riktade mot revisionsbyrÄer fÄtt medialt utrymme. I media och i den akademiska debatten framkommer olika anledningar till varför revisorn har blivit stÀmd, vilka kan kopplas till teorier inom revision och den problematik som Àr knuten till yrket. Syftet med denna uppsats Àr att utreda hur revisionsprofessionen i Sverige förklarar att revisorn blir stÀmd. I den teoretiska referensramen har vi med teori om revisionsmisslyckande, förvÀntningsgapet samt försÀkringshypotesen. Tillsammans bildar dessa teorier en analysmodell som vi har utgÄtt frÄn vid insamling och analys av empirin.

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka hur vuxna elever som studerar svenska som andrasprÄk resonerar kring sina inlÀrningsstrategier. Studien genomfördes med kvalitativ ansats och datainsamlingsmetod var semistrukturerade intervjuer. Inom denna studie intervjuades sex vuxna elever, som planerar att pÄbörja sina studier pÄ högskolor. Resultaten i denna studie visade att vuxna elever anvÀnde eller uttryckte sammanlagd fyrtio av sextiotvÄ inlÀrningsstrategier som Àr utarbetade av Oxford, forskare inom sprÄkvetenskap. Minnesstrategier, affektiva strategier och sociala strategier kunde kartlÀggas i större utstrÀckning Àn kognitiva strategier, kompensationsstrategier och metakognitiva strategier.
