Djurassisterad pedagogik har flera tänkbara tillämpningsområden i skolan. Djur har visat sig inverka positivt på den sociala miljön i skolan. Djur har en positiv effekt på elevernas koncentrationsförmåga, motivation och problemlösningsförmåga. Det har också visat sig att inlärningen gynnas, barn som får lära sig att läsa för en hund lär sig snabbare. Djur är också effektiva hjälpmedel då barn utvecklar sin empati, särskilt för pojkars empatiutveckling.

AbstractThe purpose with my study was to find out how students with physical difficulties are treated in school by teachers and other students and also if there are any differences between how teachers and students treat students with physical difficulties. I also wanted to see if there were any prejudices against students with physical disabilities from either students or teachers. If there are any prejudices, I wanted to know what kind it is that exists. When I went to school, I remember that I looked down on the students with physical difficulties because they were different. When I have been working in school as a teacher, I have seen students who pull away from students with difficulties.I chose to do the study at a higher grade school, because I have not been in such a high grade in school during my practice.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate whether personal development, from the professional perspective, could be a relevant part of the music education department at Malmö Academy of Music. The thesis explores whether students would gain a better understanding of the professional teacher's role through personal development, and also the kind of educational structure that would be most suitable to achieve this understanding. A qualitative focal group interview was used as a method, and the participants where four students at Malmö Academy of Music. The results show that the students generally would be open-minded to integrate personal development in their educational program, and they also have a lot of interesting ideas regarding how a framework for the integration of personal development in the educational program could be structured. A number of suggestions how to integrate self reflection in the educational program are presented in the thesis.

Syfte Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka bilderböckernas funktion som pedagogiskt verktyg i undervisning riktad till barn i skolår 1-3. Metod I arbetet undersöks tio bilderböcker med hjälp av en intertextuell analysmetod. Därefter analyseras resultatet utifrån ett sociokulturellt perspektiv för att närmare utröna vilken form av pedagogik som kan utgå från bilderböckerna. Resultat Bilderböcker skapar gemensamma referensramar hos eleverna. Även om undervisning inom alla ämnen kan utgå från bilderböcker faller sig arbete med värdegrunden naturligt..

Arbetet handlar om pedagogikens roll för att underlätta bemötandet mellan vårdare och patient och därigenom åstadkomma lärande i riktning mot en förbättrad hälsa. I detta fall begränsas undersökningen till tandvården och mötet mellan tandhygienist och patient. Förutom att ha en god kunskap om tandvård och munhälsa krävs det att tandhygienister lyckas nå ut med sin information och i visa fall få patienten att ändra på sitt beteende. Syftet med examensarbetet är att få en helhetssyn i hur vi bemöter begåvade barn i skolan. Detta är gjort genom litteratur studier och genom intervju frågor till lärare och elever. I litteraturstudien behandlas bland annat Howard Gardners sjuintelligenser och hur han ser på begåvning. Olika typer av inlärningsmetoder behandlas även i litteraturstudien. Studiebesök där lärare och elever intervjuas redovisas i metod delen.

Genom intervjuer och observationer har innehållet i tre specialpedagogers matematik-undervisning, enskilt eller i liten grupp, studerats utifrån vad de arbetar med, varför och hur. Det visade sig att specialpedagogerna anser att de arbetar med uppnåendemålen istället för strävansmålen medan observationer visar att även strävansmålen finns med i arbetet. Det matematiska innehållet som främst behandlas är taluppfattning. Faktorer som konkretisering, organisation, motivation, självkänsla och att använda tiden till lärande är också viktiga faktorer i undervisningen. Pedagogerna känner stort stöd från forskningsbaserade handböcker.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine how family members perceive family support, and to gain a deeper understanding of how the relatives' part is affected by the dementia ill person. The result has been produced by semi-structured interviews with five respondents interviewed individually. The respondents who participated in the study, care for the dementia sufferer husband / wife at home, or the husband / wife has moved to a special housing. The result includes the perception of being a relative of a person with dementia, how they experience support from various parties, if there are any differences between men and women as well as the importance of communication and attitude. Overall it was shown that relatives often felt a sense of security and that they were satisfied with the support they received from the various parties.

The objective of this study was to describe and analyze some of the conflicts in the class room using solution strategies from a human needs perspective. This was done by a qualitative in-vestigation based on the observations of the participants.The query of how every day conflicts arise in the class room and their reasons.The result was analyzed using reference frame in human needs theory. The results showed that there were several reasons for a conflict and its solution. It was also shown that creating a nice atmosphere in the class room was a continuous effort and the strategies of the teachers in a conflict situation were different depending on the situation. Följande arbete analyserar ordnings- och disciplinfrågor i skolan. Baserat på litteratur, egna analyser, och intervjuer med en gymnasielärare och en universitetsadjunkt i pedagogik på lärarutbildningen, presenteras ett konkret förslag till handlingsplan för hur man kan skapa en skola där det råder trygghet, trivsel och arbetsro. Mer specifikt undersöker jag vad en lärare kan göra i ett fall med en elev som trots lärarens uppmaning vägrar att lämna klassrummet. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a special unit for patients who is in the need for emergency life-sustaining measures and every patient has complex medical- technical equipment. The experiences of a critical illness and the needs of critical care are experienced in different ways. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences from patients in the ICU and how this experience has an influence on the patients. The method was a study of literature with a qualitative inception based on eight scientific articles and the analysis of content has been inspired by Graneheim and Lundman (2003). The result of the study is presented by four categories: to loose the ability to make themselves understood, to be forced to adjust to the environment of caring, to have the lack of connection with reality and to be in an intensive care environment, The results showed that patients in the ICU are affected by the attitude from the staff, the equipment around them as well as the sounds and lights in the environment there.

Arbetets syfte är att beskriva hur man som lärare kan förbereda sig själv, eleven och föräldrarna inför ett utvecklingssamtal, vilka svårigheter samt positiva faktorer som kan finnas för läraren i ett utvecklingssamtal. Detta är även frågeställningarna i arbetet. För att kunna besvara dessa frågeställningar har jag studerat litteratur som rör ämnet och även genomfört en empirisk undersökning genom att intervjua sex lärare från år 1-6. Resultatet är ganska omfattande med mycket tips på hur man kan förbereda utvecklingssamtalen för att få ut det bästa av dem. Även vad som kan vara svårt och jobbigt för en lärare i utvecklingssamtal och vad som är positivt och roligt med samtalen, finns med i resultatet.

The main purpose of this study is to inquire whether music can function as a supportive and compensating tool for children from various kinds of social exposure. Eurhythmics is the musical method focused on, since it consciously works out of a socializing perspective. The study involves a scheme with poor children in Argentin (autumn 2005) and is based upon two interviews with women working professionally with both the social and the musical aspect of the current question. Notes from the above mentioned project are added to the interviews. The possible conclusion from the end results is that the individual as well as the dynamics of the group (as a whole) draw positive benefits from not only the music itself but also the structure and the elements of it.

With help from Hälsoteknikcentrum the need for storage of medical items in the home care section has come to our attention by an investigation that Hälsoteknikcentrum did. Facilea and the nursing stuff at Eketånga home care have developed a product specified to improve the work situation for both the nursing staffs and the patients.The trolley is equipped with a special module to make the trolley more adjustable for the recipients and the nursing staffs needs and desires. The product also collect all the care items in one place. Which gives the care patient and its relatives a possibility to gather all the medical items in one place and don?t have to put these in bookshelves etcetera.After surveys, interviews and home visits a prototype was built.

The intention of the study is to investigate pedagogues understanding of physical activities in preschool. Should special activities be planned in order to stimulate children´s progress in motor skills? I also want to find out if pedagogues found the acitivities in preschool curriculum which says that the aim is to develop children´s body perception and teaching children how to care for their own health. I have interviewed seven pedagogues and focus of the question lied within motor skills and the joy of movement among preschool children. The result shows that pedagogues regard it to be important to stimulate motor activities and to encourage joy of movement in preschool.
