The aim of this paper is to shed some light on to what extent the process of making reality of Inclusion, as stated in International Declarations and in Government policies, has reached the actual educational activities in the school system. My chosen method is a case study, in which I have combined a survey with interviews in order to retrieve enough data for my analysis. I have also studied a number of policy documents and relevant literature. My analysis concludes, for the school that I have chosen to study, that there is still a lot to be done before inclusion becomes a reality. There are many obstacles to overcome, for instance; a constant struggle to obtain enough resources and to reach relevant levels of competence within the personnel.

Studiens syfte är att leda i bevis att det kan vara svårt att nå upp till de uppsatta utbildningspolitiska målen om jämställdhet i litteraturundervisningen för gymnasiet. Analysen belyser om målen överensstämmer med den samhällsstruktur vi befinner oss i och om litteraturundervisningen är förenlig med jämställdhetsmålen. Den pedagogik som syns och planeras i undervisning och den pedagogik som inte syns men finns runt om oss i vardagslivet urskiljer vad som påverkar oss att hålla på könstraditioner. Undersökningen grundar sig på en tolkningsmetod där översättningen av händelseförlopp, handlanden och texter är av betydelse. Resultatet visar att ett vanemässigt tänkande och vår objektiva syn på omvärlden kan göra det svårt att nå upp till jämställdhetsmålen i litteraturundervisningen..

The aim of this study is to examine the opinion of teachers as to the situation of young people suffering from Aspergers syndrome in the Sixth Form(gymnasium. In order to find this out I have chosen to interview four teachers with work experience of Aspergers in three different gymnasium in middle Sweden. They were confronted with the following questions: What resources are available for these pupils in the gymnasium? How do they experience that the school situation functions and how would they as teachers like the school situation to function for these young people at school?The result shows that special teachers have an extremely important function to fulfil. Those interviewed felt that there are sufficient resources available, for example guidance and further education for techers as well as both support and means for helping the young people.However, every teacher does not understand this handicap.

The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding of how immigrant children become included in some preschools. With immigrant children we meant those children who immigrated to Sweden. In order to achieve our purpose we have chosen to find out some educators' perceptions about inclusion and which strategies they use to include immigrant children.To realize the study purpose, we have chosen to use qualitative interviews as a method. We conducted interviews with sex educators who worked in two preschools. The empirical materials we got from the interviews formed the basis for our analysis.The analysis of our collected data was based on our theories and conceptions.

The intention of this study was to examine the interaction between authorities. More specifically it had a purpose to look at the ongoing cooperation between social workers and staff of special homes of closed institutional youth care. The sanction system for young offenders? reform of 1999 where young people between the ages of 15-17 who have committed serious crimes, can be sentenced to secure institutional treatment instead of prison, aims to counteract the harm which can result from a stay in prison. The social welfare board in the young person´s local authority and the national board of institutional care shall cooperate during the youth?s placement at the special home of closed institutional youth care.

Människan som är i behov av vårdande inom omvårdnad behöver pedagogiskt lärande i form av stöd från sjuksköterskan inför de frågor och utmaningar de ställs inför. Hur pedagogiskt lärande utformas i olika vårdsituationer är ännu inte tillräckligt vetenskapligt utforskat, vilket gör att det är viktigt att kartlägga problematiken kring bristen på pedagogiskt lärande i omvårdnad. Syftet var att identifiera vad pedagogiskt lärande är inom omvårdnad. Metoden som använts är en litteraturstudie med 8 vetenskapliga artiklar som lades till grund för resultatet. Resultatet visade sex olika underteman; pedagogiska brister, pedagogisk innovation, sjuksköterskan, patientens livsvärld, pedagogisk ömsesidighet samt pedagogisk omvårdnad och som bildade huvudtemat ?Med andras ögon?.

Mitt examensarbete handlar om tre olika lärare på tre olika skolor i centrala Malmö 2011. Mitt syfte är att undersöka vilken kunskap om och vilka redskap läraren har för att arbeta interkulturellt och vilket stöd de får för detta arbete. Vilken interkulturell kompetens har läraren och hur ser den dagliga praktiken i klassrummet ut. Vilket förhållningssätt och attityd har läraren till sitt arbete i en mångkulturell miljö? Intresset för det här ämnet har sakta växt fram under min utbildning till lärare och ett par års erfarenhet av vikariat på olika grundskolor i Malmö och anledningen till att jag gör den här undersökningen nu är att jag snart kommer att vara lärare själv och vill skaffa mig förståelse för och kunskap om vad interkulturell pedagogik är.Genom att intervjua tre olika lärare på grundskolor i centrala Malmö om hur de arbetar interkulturellt vill jag skaffa mig denna förståelse.

AbstractThe purpose with this essay is to get an insight on how the school has changed over the past years in terms of reading- and writing difficulties/dyslexia. In the literature studies I mention reading- and writing difficulties and the reasons why some people get these problems. Further on in the literature study it is written about what the education act and the curriculum say about the school?s duties towards pupils in need of special support.The result contains interviews with one language pedagogue and one special pedagogue who work in two different municipalities. In addition I interviewed two former pupils who went to school 15-20 years ago.I came to the conclusion that today?s schools have changed to the better for the pupils with difficulties.

AbstractWorking with students who have ADHD are today common in Swedish schools. Approximately 2-3 students per class have been diagnosed with ADHD and require greater demands on their teachers. The pupils have to be included and get the opportunities to develop in the way that suits the students best. The pupils themselves should not have to adapt to the school, it is the school that has to adapt to the pupils. The purpose of this paper is to examine how PE teachers work with students who have ADHD as they need to have adults around them that have insights on their special needs.

Den här uppsatsen är en didaktisk uppsats i fysik som beskriver ett projekt där syftet var att undersöka om det är den moderna tekniken eller pedagogiken som är orsaken till MBL-laborationers effektivitet. Förkortningen MBL står för Microcomputer Based Laboratory. Projektet genomfördes i en klass på naturvetenskapliga programmet vid en gymnasieskola i Arvika.Eleverna fick utföra en MBL ? laboration som handlade om impuls och rörelsemängd. Halva gruppen fick utförliga instruktioner med stödfrågor enligt MBL-pedagogik och den andra gruppen fick en instruktion av formelverifikations typ och använde MBL ? utrustningen endast som tekniskt hjälpmedel.Utvärderingen av projektet bestod av att eleverna fick besvara en enkät med frågor om rörelsemängd och impuls före och efter laborationen.

This paper is a critical evaluation of the Swedish system with special mediation. The district court has the opportunity, in cases that are amenable to out-of-court settlements, to refer the dispute to special mediation. However, this is extremely rare, even though the legislature expressed a desire to increase the use of alternative dispute resolution. In 2011, a series of measures were taken to increase the use of mediation and strengthen mediation attractiveness. What effect can be inferred from these actions today, over three years after their introduction? This study analyses the main reasons offered for why mediation is not used more, and what should be done to increase the use of mediation.

The basic principle of the integrated school according to the Salamanca Declaration is that all children, whenever possible, should be taught together, regardless of any difficulties or diversity. It has been shown that students with neuropsychiatric disorders are having much more difficulties to achieve the targets than the average student. Pupils with neuropsychiatric syndrome will always be present in school and we who are working in the business must be better at learning to adapt to them so that they too can achieve proficiency in school.Mathematics is perhaps the topic that Swedish students generally have most problems with,and it will not obviously be easier if you have some form of neuropsychiatric disability.In our future role as special education teachers, we will mentor and support other teachers in the complex educational environment that exists today. The aim that has been built up is thus partly to explore how mathematics teachers work with included students with neuropsychiatric disorders, as well as how teachers wishing to become supervised by specialeducation teachers in mathematics. The study is conducted from a sociocultural perspective.A sociocultural perspective on learning means that all people are learning all the time in social settings.

Research shows that supportive conversations with elderly who are living in nursing homes isrequested among care personnel, this to satisfy both older people's mental health and socialhealth. The care personnel try to offer the elderly supportive conversation to the extent theyare able to, but they are experiencing obstacles in terms of shortage of time, ignorance and aperceived ambiguity in their profession. The purpose of present study is to describe andanalyze the phenomenon of supportive conversation with elderly living in nursing homes,based on care personnel?s perspective. The study is based on qualitative interviews with thecare personnel working in special housing.
