AbstractThe purpose with my study was to find out how students with physical difficulties are treated in school by teachers and other students and also if there are any differences between how teachers and students treat students with physical difficulties. I also wanted to see if there were any prejudices against students with physical disabilities from either students or teachers. If there are any prejudices, I wanted to know what kind it is that exists. When I went to school, I remember that I looked down on the students with physical difficulties because they were different. When I have been working in school as a teacher, I have seen students who pull away from students with difficulties.I chose to do the study at a higher grade school, because I have not been in such a high grade in school during my practice.

Genom intervjuer och observationer har innehållet i tre specialpedagogers matematik-undervisning, enskilt eller i liten grupp, studerats utifrån vad de arbetar med, varför och hur. Det visade sig att specialpedagogerna anser att de arbetar med uppnåendemålen istället för strävansmålen medan observationer visar att även strävansmålen finns med i arbetet. Det matematiska innehållet som främst behandlas är taluppfattning. Faktorer som konkretisering, organisation, motivation, självkänsla och att använda tiden till lärande är också viktiga faktorer i undervisningen. Pedagogerna känner stort stöd från forskningsbaserade handböcker.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine how family members perceive family support, and to gain a deeper understanding of how the relatives' part is affected by the dementia ill person. The result has been produced by semi-structured interviews with five respondents interviewed individually. The respondents who participated in the study, care for the dementia sufferer husband / wife at home, or the husband / wife has moved to a special housing. The result includes the perception of being a relative of a person with dementia, how they experience support from various parties, if there are any differences between men and women as well as the importance of communication and attitude. Overall it was shown that relatives often felt a sense of security and that they were satisfied with the support they received from the various parties.

Utifrån hur fritidsgården diskuteras idag vill denna uppsats problematisera och diskutera fritidsgårdens verksamhet.Syftet med uppsatsen är att med en meningskonstitutionsanalys analysera och tolka fyra fritidsledares syn på sitt yrke i en intervjukontext. Denna analys syftar till att finna en kärna i denna specifika fritidsgårdsverksamhet, som nås genom ett sökande i intervjupersonernas subjekt.Huvudfrågan är: Vad är kärnan i en fritidsgårds verksamhet? Underfrågor i uppsatsen är: Hur berättar fritidsledarna om sitt arbete på en fritidsgård? Hur ser fritidsledarna på ungdomarna som besöker fritidsgården? Hur ser fritidsledarna på fritidsgården som plats?Författaren har metodologiskt utgått från de intervjuer som genomförts. Dessa intervjuer har skrivits ut och analyserats utifrån en meningskonstitutionsanalys.Resultatet av analysen visar på att fritidsledarna jobbar på två olika platser som givits namnen däruppe- och därnereverksamheten. I därnereverksamheten, som varit fokus i uppsatsen, framstår samtalet eller pratet som kärnan.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a special unit for patients who is in the need for emergency life-sustaining measures and every patient has complex medical- technical equipment. The experiences of a critical illness and the needs of critical care are experienced in different ways. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences from patients in the ICU and how this experience has an influence on the patients. The method was a study of literature with a qualitative inception based on eight scientific articles and the analysis of content has been inspired by Graneheim and Lundman (2003). The result of the study is presented by four categories: to loose the ability to make themselves understood, to be forced to adjust to the environment of caring, to have the lack of connection with reality and to be in an intensive care environment, The results showed that patients in the ICU are affected by the attitude from the staff, the equipment around them as well as the sounds and lights in the environment there.

This joint study has researched the use of non-European history in a Swedish textbook for the High School course History 1a1 as well as internet based material regarding the same issue. The aim of this study was to clarify the use of non-European history in regards to the Eurocentric theory.As for the textbook analysis the purpose was to research what non-European history was mentioned in the material with regards to geographical location and the events that were mentioned, as well as to study how much non-European history was included in the material compared to European or Western history.The study of internet based material aimed to show what kind of teaching material could be found on internet based databases by and for teachers. The study aimed to show how well the material handled non-European history, as well as to what degree the material used European perspectives when dealing with non-European events and geographical areas.In our thesis we have created our own definition of the theory regarding eurocentrism. The method used was a combination of a quantitative and a qualitative discourse analysis of the texts.Our results showed that the textbook was overwhelmingly Eurocentric, not only giving vastly more focus to the European parts of world history, but also using European perspectives and ideals to describe non-European events and areas. The internet based material, on the other hand, proved more diverse and less biased, but also more difficult to find and less plentiful.Our conclusion, then, is that teachers have to choose between the risk of letting their students develop a severely limited and heavily Eurocentric view of the world, and the additional workload required to find and organize non-textbook material to broaden their students horizons.We hope our study will contribute to the discussion of the place of Eurocentrism in today?s global and multicultural society..

With help from Hälsoteknikcentrum the need for storage of medical items in the home care section has come to our attention by an investigation that Hälsoteknikcentrum did. Facilea and the nursing stuff at Eketånga home care have developed a product specified to improve the work situation for both the nursing staffs and the patients.The trolley is equipped with a special module to make the trolley more adjustable for the recipients and the nursing staffs needs and desires. The product also collect all the care items in one place. Which gives the care patient and its relatives a possibility to gather all the medical items in one place and don?t have to put these in bookshelves etcetera.After surveys, interviews and home visits a prototype was built.

Denna rapport redovisar ett examensarbete på Civilingenjör och Lärarprogrammet på KTH och SU.Examensarbetets syfte är att öka förståelsen för och kartlägga hur olika presentationsmodelleruppfattas påverka intresset och möjligheten att ta till sig kunskapen om mekaniken i fjädrandekonstruktionselement (FKE). Tre olika presentationsmodeller har kartlagts därpresentationsmodellernas kommunikativa angreppssätt har varierat mellan auktoritativ ochdialogisk. Presentationsmodellerna som kartlagts är:? Seminarie utifrån problembaserat lärande? Seminarie utifrån casemetodiken? Auktoritativt seminarieGenom deltagande observation och intervjuer har deltagarnas uppfattningar om de olika KPM, vadavser intresse och möjlighet att ta till sig kunskap, testats och kartlagts och studiens slutsatserredovisats. Denna studie utförs inom ämnet FKE och målgruppen för presentationsmodellerna ärvuxna personer med grundläggande kunskaper i mekanik.Resultatet av studien visar att möjligheten till inlärning och intresset ökar om det kommunikativaangreppssättet dialogiskt betonas.

The intention of the study is to investigate pedagogues understanding of physical activities in preschool. Should special activities be planned in order to stimulate children´s progress in motor skills? I also want to find out if pedagogues found the acitivities in preschool curriculum which says that the aim is to develop children´s body perception and teaching children how to care for their own health. I have interviewed seven pedagogues and focus of the question lied within motor skills and the joy of movement among preschool children. The result shows that pedagogues regard it to be important to stimulate motor activities and to encourage joy of movement in preschool.

This work is meant to contribute to the research of adaptation studies by focusing on a special case: the transformation of a fictional diary into a movie. In order to sustain the form of the literary source the adaptation to movie requires certain strategies. Först of all, the diary genre is characterized by a one-dimensional narration. Second, diaries only supply a few written dialogues, hence this "void" has to be compensated and filled by media specific measures. Third, the investigated diary is a story of individualization and emancipation of a single woman.

Constrains regarding time, space and impact on social life is likely to appear. Based on theory and empirical research about the Boundaryless work and the Psychological contract the purpose of this report is to examine employees who live and work at the same place. This is done by studying the regulation regarding time and space factors and the psychological contracts in expectations and in violation of the psychological contract and the risks associated with this like Locked-in factors. The study includes interviews with managers and employees (n=9).

Vilka normer och värderingar kan bli dominerande från personalens sida när oenighet uppstår mellan personal och den enskilde om vad som ska bestämmas för henom?Det viktigaste resultatet från denna studie är att personalen upplever en svårighet i att den enskilde ska bestämma själv och samtidigt få stöd och hjälp..

This paper investigates strategic opportunities for film festivals in a digital film business, with emphasis on Göteborg international film festival and the Swedish film industry. Using a theoretical framework of strategy analysis, the film value chain is examined with special regards to disruptive technology, and the film festival's unique resources are linked to industry structure. It is shown that relationships between actors and across sectors are crucial features of the film industry, and hence a network perspective is added to the theoretical framework. Barriers to entry are shown to be relatively low in all sectors except the cinema market, and it is proposed that film festival's could expand into digital distribution, taking advantage of brand strength, customer loyalty and knowledge of industry. The study adds to the mounting research on film festival practice and its significance for marketing and distribution in the film industry, and highlights the emergence of strategic openings in destabilized networks..

Many new electronic publication systems have arisen in the past few years, one of them is the weblog. In 1999 there were 23 weblogs, today there are millions thus a need for organisation has appeared, both special metadata and subject indexes have been invented and created. Due to the large amount of the latter we have in this thesis decided to concentrate on those close by the Scandinavian weblogindexes. A more international perspective would however have been possible, as very little is written on the topic. We have looked at these selected weblogindexes, trying to determinate whether they agree with F.

Grunden för denna uppsats utgörs av en kvalitativ, empirisk intervjustudie med fyra kvinnor i chefspositioner. De kommer från olika organisationer i olika kontexter. Syftet var att med utgångspunkt i vår tolkning av deras upplevelser analysera deras möjligheter till ledarskapsutveckling. Frågor vi ställde oss var; Hur berättar dessa kvinnor om sin egen ledarskapsutveckling? Hur ser de på hinder och möjligheter som har funnits för dem? Hur kan deras upplevelser tolkas och analyseras?Metoden som vi har använt för insamling, bearbetning och analys av empiri har varit av narrativ karaktär.
