Mycket av vårt lands mest högklassiga jordbruksmarker finns i Skåne. Samtidigt befinner sig många skånska kommuner i expansiva faser och behovet av nya bostäder är stort. Städernas behov av utveckling och expansion och bevarandet av landsbygd och jordbruksmark kommer då ofta i konflikt. Jordbruksmarken är en ändlig resurs, som är viktig för mänskligheten genom bland annat livsmedelsförsörjning, förnyelsebara tillgångar och för de naturliga ekosystems funktioner, men även för människornas behov av rekreation. I Miljöbalken benämns jordbruk vara av nationell betydelse.

The aim of this study is to explore local cultural policy documents in the municipality of Gothenburg Sweden, and, more specifically, to investigate the concepts of cultural planning and instrumental cultural policy. Cultural planning is in this thesis seen as a result of an instrumental view of cultural policy. The theoretical framework consists of the theories of Danish cultural policy researcher Dorte Skot-Hansen. She describes cultural policy in urban areas as founded in motives such as economy, social issues, entertaining and enlightenment. A qualitative text analysis is performed in order to see if the purpose of the cultural policies is to focus on cultural planning as formulated in the document Kulturpolitisk strategi ? version 1.0, adopted by the city council in 1998.

Collaborative planning ? a comparative study of theory and practice Why There is today, according to my experience, a growing interest and demand for a more inclusive and transparent planning process. Also, if we are going to be able to reach a truly sustainable society it is my belief that there is a need for a more integrated collaboration between different actors. Where the social, economic and ecological values can influence and benefit from each other. The question then is, how can the planning system accommodate that kind of collaboration? Purpose My aim for this thesis has been to study a selection of the theoretical work that exist about collaborative planning.

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka fenomenet Urban Sprawl för att se om det går och få svar på varför Kungsbacka kommun ser ut som den gör idag. Kungsbacka har ett speciellt utseende med en väldigt liten centralort i förhållande till kommunens storlek. De flesta av invånarna i kommunen bor i utbredda villaområden utanför staden. Arbetet inleds med en teoridel som börjar med att beskriva Urban Sprawl i ett internationellt perspektiv för att till sist gå in på vad det har betytt för Sveriges och enskilda kommuners del. När man talar om Urban Sprawl förs ofta tankarna till USA med dess breda motorvägar, stora köpcentrum och utbredda städer.

Examensarbetet utgörs av en omfattande analys samt bakgrundsmaterial som redogör för planerings-förutsättningar samt problematik för planområdet. Analyserna och bakgrundsmaterialet mynnar sedan ut i ett planförslag som vägt ihop alla tillgängliga fakta och skapat en fungerande och attraktiv helhet. I huvudsak består planförslaget av följande delar: Arbetet tar upp ett översiktligt förslag till ett nytt resecentrum byggt utifrån den befintliga stationsbyggnaden. Även närområdet kring resecentrumet utvecklas för att skapa en attraktiv helhet som passar in i staden. Längs med Tullkammarkajen utvecklas ett nytt bostadsområde med vattennära bebyggelse.

Södra Segestrand är ett ny föreslagen stadsdel i centrala Svedala, alldeles intill stationen och Sege å. Det är en stadsdel med blandade funktioner som kan erbjuda bostäder, arbetsplatser, fritid, handel och skola. Stadsdelen innehåller ca 520 nya lägenheter vilket förväntas ge drygt 1300 nya invånare. Närhet till stationen ger goda förutsättningar för boende att miljövänligt pendla med tåg till Köpenhamn, Malmö, Lund osv. Området uppförs på ett idag befintligt industri- och verksamhetsområde; Industriområde Syd.

Municipalities in Sweden are responsible for physical planning by developing a general plan. This plan contains intended land and water use for the area. This study aims to investigate the level of integra­tion of environmental issues in the general plan of Arboga municipality and also how well adapted the municipality is for climate change. Further on, the study intends to examine the focus of the gen­eral plan and at what rate the national environmental strategies are implemented in the local physi­cal planning of Arboga municipality. Methods used for this study are interviews and reviewing of the general plan itself and other key documents.

This paper examines the opportunities and challenges of integrating conservation practice and the circular economy into practical planning processes. In recent years, the discussion of circular economy and its relevance in the sustainability debate has intensified. According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the transition to a circular economy is crucial to achieving the national and international environmental and climate goals as well as the global goals in Agenda 2030. Parallel to this, there is a long established heritage discourse that emphasizes the importance of preserving buildings and cultural environments as part of our cultural heritage. These two discourses have common goals, but they differ in how they present their respective arguments.

The study was conducted at a business in the social service. The purpose was to examine how the business works with human resource planning. In order to answer the purpose two questions was formulated, which human resource planning strategy does the business use? And, how do businesses need to act according to the theory of strategic manpower to achieve human resource planning? Survey data collection was done through a qualitative research design, where interviews with five employees in the business took place.The study shows that the business is using a own made strategy in order to achieve human resource planning. The strategy consists of two steps, in step one they do an background analysis and step two a needs analysis where a goal- and responsibility description are designed and then a set of requirements.

Spatial design for children nine to twelve years old at the Halmstad City Library. An investigation about the specific needs of the target group and how the child department can be designed to stimulate their experience of visiting the library. The aim was to create a spatial concept from the children?s ideas that inspires to playfulness and lust to read at the library. A more personal goal was to collaborate with an external part to prepare for my future role as a designer within child culture.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att upprätta ett förslag över hur man kan utveckla ön Ljusterö i Stockholms skärgård samtidigt som man säkerställer och bevarar de kvaliteter som finns på ön. Examensarbetet syftar också till att utreda hur man kan integrera Ljusterö i en växande förortskommun samtidigt som man bibehåller öns specifika karaktärsdrag. Ljusterö ligger i Österåkers kommun ca 3 mil norr om Stockholm. Ön genomgår i nuläget en omfattande permanentomvandling, dvs då befintliga fritidshusområden omvandlas till permanentboenden. Detta ställer ökade krav på infrastrukturen, som exempelvis nya vägar, vatten- och avlopp och snöröjning. På ön finns flera områden som är av kulturhistoriskt värde, samt områden som är klassade som ekologiskt särskilt känsliga områden.

Logistics planning for a construction site is usually limited by traffic flow to and from the workplace. The geographical location of the construction site is determined by roads around the workplace and opportunities for well-functioning logistics. Inventory of material is often impossible because of the frequently small workspaces. As a result, a concern relating material handling remains . Even before the establishment of a construction site, it is required in the construction industry to eliminate errors that might arise in the planning stage.

Syftet med kandidatarbetet är att undersöka medborgar- deltagandet i den kommunala planprocessen. I arbetet tas upp vilka dialogverktyg som finns för att få ett bra medborgar- deltagande i planprocessen, hur de kan användas och hur de har använts vid planeringen av ett nytt område. Arbetet försöker att med hjälp av demokratimodeller och planeringsteorier förklara och förstå den typ av medborgardeltagande vi har idag vid planeringen av den fysiska miljön. Medborgardeltagande i planprocessen är obligatoriskt enligt Plan- och Bygglagen. Undersökningar som Boverket (1998) gjorde har visat att ju mer medborgarna får vara med i planprocessen från början, desto större och bättre beslutsunderlag vilket ofta leder till färre överklaganden.

This thesis presents the theory behind prototyping and user interviews as parts of requirements analysis. It further discusses how these were used in the development of a budget planning application. The implemented Web-based solution uses a new component-based design rooted in a Model-View-Controller architecture. The application is used today with complete success at the Department of Computer and Information Science at Linköping University..

Regionalism is a concept of extensive proportions and as such is complex to define. This phenomenon becomes much clearer by studying it from different perspectives. This paper focuses on regional political parties and description of their political ideas. The goal of this paper is to examine and compare regional political parties in two Swedish regions: Norrbotten and Skåne. By studying two biggest regional parties in these regions, namely Norrbottensparti and Skånepartiet, I will try to get an insight into the regional politics, as well as illustrate regionalism and its meaning.
