Detta examensarbete har genomförts under hösten 2004 vid lastbilstillverkaren RENAULT V.I. ESPAÑA, S.A. i Madrid, Spanien. Syftet med projektet var att undersöka hur ändringen av produktionslayouten, vid bearbetningslinjerna av vevaxlar, bäst kan komma att se ut och genomföras inför den nya produktionssituationen fram till årsskiftet 2006-2007. Projektet omfattar även en generell ergonomisk studie av de två linjerna och en specifik ergonomisk studie av arbetsstationen ?Försänkning och putsning av oljehål?.

This bachelor of economics paper discuss that the increasing globalization has put the small companies in the Swedish textile and clothing industry in a situation where internationalization has become a necessity. Furthermore has the European Union lead to that this type of companies has to seek growth on foreign markets with great socio cultural distance from the home country, Sweden. Nowadays there?s no time to internationalize in the same course of action like before. Before, the Swedish companies begun their operations abroad in fairly nearby countries and only gradually penetrated more far-flung markets.

My objective with the work, Travel Sketches, is to develop an approach to sketching as a landscape architect in connection with the field trip. Previous experiences and reference places are vital parts during the creation of new design proposals. It is by visiting and experiencing places that valuable knowledge is acquired. By sketching on site, with for example a pen and paper, a bank of reference objects will be established as well as an understanding of their practical success. Experiences and sketching are the basic tools of an architect.
