The aim of this master thesis is to measure library service quality in two groups of libraries, newly developed and well established, and to see if there are any differences in the users perception of the dimensions in LibQUAL+. The thesis also examines the different perception of quality for the user groups: undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty. Another approach is to test the Swedish translation of LibQUAL+. Different theories on service quality are presented but the main theories are from the marketing perspective. The grounding and development of LibQUAL+ is described as well as the use of the instrument in different libraries.

Arbetet handlar om utveckling av ett e-learningsystem och hur man kan säkra koden förframtiden. Dessutom handlar det om att undersöka en möjlig implementation av standardenSCORM samt att ta fram en ny databasmodell.Efter förundersökning togs beslutet att genomföra projektet som ett API i grunden medtestdriven utveckling och tillhörande dokumentation. De tekniker som användes var; HTML,CSS, XML, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, och Codeigniter.Resultatet blev som förväntat förutom att det inte gick att återanvända koden i den utsträckningsom först uppskattades utan istället återanvändes idéer och problemlösning..

The demand for shopping centers has increased in recent time and more shopping centers have been built. To become competitive shopping centers has evolved to become more than just a place for shopping. In the recent past Galleria Duvan in Karlstad has been run by foreign owners who has not been involved or renovated the shopping center. During the spring of 2011 AlbérFastigheter bought Galleria Duvan and they are now renovating and negotiating new deals with the tenants. Our problem has led us to the following question: How can a centrally located shopping center, such as Galleria Duvan, develop a strategy to strengthen their position on the market.

Syftet med studien var att jämföra pedagogers uppfattning om läxan som inlärningsmetod och undersöka deras syn på utveckling av läxan för att synliggöra pedagogiska argument som kunde bidra till utveckling av en handlingsplan för läxor. Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats där den semistrukturerade intervjun och den fokuserade gruppintervjun användes som datainsamlingsmetod. Resultaten av de uppfattningar om läxan som framgick i studien kunde skildras som två motsatta bilder. Den första bilden skildrade läxan som en möjlighet att med olika arbetsformer skapa förutsättningar för lärande och utveckling utanför skolan. Den andra bilden gestaltade läxan som ett redskap att vid behov kunna använda läxan av praktiska skäl för att spara tid åt att skapa lärandesituationer på lektionstid.

This study takes place within a publicly owned art producing organization and dwells on the problems of a change process that the organization was involved in. Both leaders and staff were disappointed by the way the change process had developed. The management team explained the outcome by referring to the uniqueness of working with artists who constantly put their own personal objectives before the benefit of the whole. The aim of this study is to find a complementary explanation to the one the management team provided us with; an explanation that can help in the understanding of the dynamics of a change process. Can perhaps theories on information, communication and change processes give an alternative explanation to why the change process faltered? To investigate this, we have used a qualitative single case study.

As an important concept and as a framework of political action, sustainable development can at this point be considered as the very symbol of a paradigm in the international debate over environmental issues and the threats of climate change. But what does the concept of sustainability actually suggest? This thesis uses discourse analysis in order to examine the Swedish learning for sustainable development as to three different discourses on the national arena: the government and the municipals of Piteå and Växjö respectively. When the study foremost concerns official policy documents that contain associations with the study area, the methodology used takes into consideration both language, signs, metaphors and so called story lines.

Följande studie är ett bidrag till forskningen inom strategisk kommunikation och varumäkeskommunikation. Huvudsyftet med studien är att klargöra och finna svar på huruvida varumärkena Audi, BMW och Mercedes-Benz lyckas vara särpräglade i sin kommunikation. Studien ämnar även klargöra var de särpräglade dragen gör sig synliga. Genom att studera varumärkenas homogenitet, och inkongruenta inslag, inom de två dimensionerna; retorik och grafik avser resultatet ge svar på varumärkenas koncept och således tydliggöra de särpräglade dragen i kommunikationen.Önskan med studien är att ge mottagaren en vidare inblick och förståelse för varumärkesskapande och varumärkeskommunikation i en snäv konkurrenssituation. Målet är att besvara de två frågeställningar som studien vilar pa?, följaktligen: 1) Hur skiljer sig Audi, BMW och Mercedes-Benz varumärkeskommunikation åt utifra?n inkongruens och homogenitet? 2)    Lyckas    varumärkena    vara    särpräglade    trots    den    påtagliga    konkurrensen? Studien utgår huvudsakligen från tre teoretiska ramverk; 1) Teorier kring inkongruent varumärkeskommunikation,    2)    teorier    om    det    traditionella    perspektivet    inom varumärkeskommunikation, 3) teorier om de tre dimensionerna inom studerandet av varumärken.

Syftet med den här studien är att undersökaoch få en fördjupad förståelse för hur förskollärare ser på förskolans fysiska miljö och dessbetydelse förbarns utveckling och lärande. Frågeställningarna studien utgår ifrån är följande: Hur utformas förskolans fysiska miljö?och Hur uppfattar förskollärare den fysiska miljöns betydelse för barns utveckling och lärande?I studien intervjuades sex förskollärare från sex olika förskolor inom samma kommun. Resultatet av studien visar att samtliga förskollärare har en uppfattning att förskolans fysiska miljö är av betydelse för barns utveckling och lärande. Det förskollärarna framhåller som betydelsefullt är att den fysiska miljön både kan främja och hämma barns utveckling och lärandeexempelvis genomförskollärares syn på lokaler och deras syn på tillgängligheten av material.

This paper examines the texts written on shards from wine-jars found at El-Amarna, Tutankhamuns tomb (KV 62) and Deir el-Medina. Information concerning the administration of wine and its production, found in these texts, is examined. Wine was an important element in Egyptian society and a common iconographic motif in tombs at Thebes during New Kingdom.A survey on previous research on the subject is presented. This is followed by analysis of the different reoccurring elements found in the texts. A definition of the standard formulation of the wine jar label texts is given and the minimal level of information needed for the administration of wine production and distribution is identified. The chapter of the analysis deals with the various types of information given in the label texts, such as date, wine classification, and function.

Eftersom jag anser att det är ytterst viktigt att värna om och ta tillvara på vår natur och miljö på rätt sätt, betämde jag mig för att undersöka hur medvetna barn i våra förskolor är om återvinning, olika material och dess livscykel. Jag ville se om det gick att märka någon skillnad i barns tankar om natur och olika material, i förskolor där ett aktivt arbete med hållbar utveckling pågick och förskolor som inte arbetade aktivt med detta. Jag ville också ta reda på vad hållbar utveckling betydde för förskollärarna och om de arbetade med detta på förskolan. Mina undersökningar visade mig att det går att finna vissa skillnader i medvetenheten hos barn, beroende på om pedagogerna inte arbetar med frågor rörande natur och återvinning eller om ett aktivt arbete finns. Jag såg även att hållbar utveckling som arbetsmetod är en bristvara i förskolor, även förskollärarnas engagemang var lägre än jag väntat mig. .

The competition between the Swedish municipalities has increased as the world has become more globalized, which means that they need to become more attractive for sustaining sound finances and not to find themselves to have a downward trend. One possibility to show the attractiveness of a place is by using place marketing and therewith attaining a stronger brand position. There are 20 suburban municipalities in the county of Stockholm, of which six are multicultural or are having a minimum of 20 percent immigrants among the residents. These immigrant areas are segregated based on class, income and culture. Problems associated with these areas have historical aspects that dates further back than modern immigration does.

Utgångspunkten för detta arbete är hållbar utveckling och barns lärande om vår miljö. Vi har valt att använda oss av barnlitteratur och information- och kommunikationsteknik(IKT) som redskap för lärande om hållbar utveckling i förskolan. Arbetet innehåller två produkter som är skapade för att användas som pedagogiskt redskap av pedagoger för barn. Produkterna består av en barnbok som förklarar fotosyntesens process och en kompletterande app som befäster och fördjupar den kunskap boken erbjuder barnen. Huvudsyftet är att ge barn en möjlighet att utveckla en medvetenhet och respekt för vår gemensamma miljö.
