Folkhälsa och folkhälsomål är ämnen som vid en första tanke tycks ligga långt bort från stadsplanering. Faktum är dock att människors vardag påverkas av hur staden planeras, viket är logiskt. Hur en individ väljer att förflytta sig från en målpunkt till en annan påverkas exempelvis av vilken infrastruktur som finns, vilka avstånd det handlar om, vilken aktivitet individen är på väg till eller från samt vilken tid på dygnet som förflyttningen sker. Flertalet resor sker idag med bil eller kollektivtrafik, vilket innebär att människan transporteras stillasittandes. Många arbeten utförs idag stillasittande och flertalet fritidsaktiviteter innebär ännu mer stillasittande.

This examination paper is a lead in the educational program Industrial Management at Jönköping University. The paper itself contains an analysis of the warehouse organisation and its efficiency at the furniture company Voice AB in Torsvik, just south of Jönköping, Sweden. The report also contains propositions to raise the level of efficiency in the company warehouse and warehouse management.In the investigation of the warehouse a number of possible improvements were found. Examples are lack of a system for labelling shelves and racks, lack of an efficient location system and development possibilities in work routines. For the empirical investigation both qualitative and quantitative methods ware used.

Children's language development is highly connected to the success of every school. Especially when it comes to the children learning reading and writing skills, regardless of what method the schools use in order to achieve this. An early intervention can facilitate the learning of reading comprehension. Reading aloud and playing with the language learning is the greatest gift we can give our children and students. Children learn how to use a book by turning the pages and see how the words and texts are structured.

This paper appeals to professionals working with green questions. It intends to create a discussion about which plant species that can be established in a fieldlayer of a naturelike planting on fertile agricultural land. To initiate the essay, a studie of which values that can be connected with an establishment of a fieldlayer was performed . A part of Tor Nitzelius Park in Alnarp, a so called naturlike planting on fertile agricultural land, was used as a model for the choice of species. With the aid of soil values, photos and a list of current species, interviews with four ecologists were performed.

The purpose of this study is to examine how two educators at a preschool that is located in a neighborhood south of Stockholm works with TAKK with children who has Down syndrome in a language promotion purposes. The aim is also to investigate what teachers think about using TAKK with children without special needs and children with Down syndrome.In this study, I used qualitative research methods. I've used both observations and interviews to get answers to my questions. The theories which I have used in this thesis is, socio-cultural perspective, including integration and segregated integration.In order to find out how the educators work with TAKK I have asked these questions:How do the educators work with TAKK with children with Down syndrome from a language development perspective?What do the educators express about using TAKK with children without special needs and with children who has Down syndrome?My conclusions to these questions are that the literatures I have read in many ways are consistent with how they work.

En stads centrum är dit du går för att möta andra människor, bli överraskad, få nya intryck, föreviga ögonblick och skapa nya ögonblick. Luleås centrum dör ut under kvällstid, delvis eftersom den största attraktionen är detaljhandeln. Denna uppsats ger förslag på hur Luleå kommun kan tillgodose sina invånares önskan att få en central mötesplats i staden. Förslaget är att ge parkeringsplatsen Trekanten i Luleå centrum en ny funktion som mötesplats. Uppsatsen börjar med att ta undersöka vad en mötesplats är och vad som är de grundläggande förutsättningarna för att en mötesplats ska uppstå. Sedan redovisar den reultatet på en enkät ställd till Luleås invånare samt platsanalyser gjorda på Trekanten.

The number of inhabitants of the towns and city centers have generelly increased, concurrent as the population in smaller towns has decreased. In Stockholm, the migration is very fast and here is also the most populous place, if one compares with other Sweden. In order to respond to the increasing population and the pressure they put on city spaces has Stockholm's town a town building strategy that says "build inwards". It means that one stem seals the town with spaces and business activities in central locations. The increased population in the towns and the densification of buildings leads however to an increased pressure on parks and public places.

Partly as a reaction to a perceived crisis in contemporary democracy, the nineties witnessed an upsurge in different forms of citizens? fora, dedicated to the promotion of increased participation by the citizen in the political process. Youth councils are a special point in case as they entail the general characteristics of a deliberative forum, with an emphasis on political learning. This study aims to undertake an evaluation of a regional youth council in the region of Skåne in the south of Sweden. Through qualitative analysis, the study aims to portray the origin, purposes and consequences of such a forum.

Marktäckande perenner används mer och mer i offentliga sammanhang. Detta arbete handlar om hur låga marktäckande perenner kan fungera som undervegetation och vilka perenner som kan fungera bra i sådana miljöer. Riktigt låga perenner som tar tid på sig att breda ut sig eller höga perenner med stora blad, som också bör kallas marktäckare, behandlas inte. Syftet med arbetet var att ta reda på vilka perenner som fungerar bra som undervegetation till träd och buskar i park och trädgård. Ett resultat är att det är avgörande för en planterings överlevnad och fortsatta funktion, att ha kunskap om platsen, platsens karaktär och ståndorten och att därefter använda växter som passar in där. Det betyder att de växter man väljer måste vara så pass livskraftiga och konkurrenskraftiga att de kan klara av att tävla om rotutrymmet i en plantering med träd och buskar.

It seems like Event Marketing as a marketing tool is starting to get its well-merited position in the marketing mix throughout the world, since companies and other organisations have realized that Event Marketing is a powerful tool for differentiation. We have also seen that Event Marketing in the business world lately has come to be more important for building and maintaining relationships, as well as carrying marketing messages.In this essay we discuss Event Marketing in three sections; brand, relationships, and customer experience. Among these topics, inter alia Integrated Marketing Communications, Sensory Marketing, and Service-dominant Logic are presented.

Stockholm är en stad där grönstrukturen i stadens närförorter länge har haft en roll som ett stadsdelsskiljande, sammanhängande grönt nät och där stadens inriktning har varit att bevara denna struktur. I förtätningens era i den starkt växande staden målas grönområdena nu istället upp som den mark som återstår att bygga på, där det gröna nätet är ett hot mot en sammanhängande stadsstruktur. I detta arbete behandlades frågeställningen om det hade det skett en förändring i Stockholms stads beskrivning av grönstruktur i den översiktliga planeringen. Metoden som användes var att jämföra Stockholms översiktsplan 1999 med översiktsplan 2010 efter ett antal frågor om grönstruktur. Varje fråga besvarades med sammanfattningar eller citat från de båda översiktsplanerna och en efterföljande analys. Resultatet tyder på att en förändring har skett i stadens beskrivning av grönstruktur, den gröna strukturen har inte en lika central roll i den nya översiktsplanen och har inte längre ett eget kapitel eller karta.

Livestock animals affect their environment in a number of different ways, mostly through grazing and trampling. This study focused on the effects of Gotland pony grazing on forest structure and diversity, and the impact on ground cover. To compare the fenced and grazed area with a reference area outside the enclosure a number of transects were used. The study showed that there was no significant difference in height structure and diversity between the compared sites; however, there were a significantly higher proportion of damaged trees inside the enclosure. The ground cover variables showed a higher amount of bare soil, plant litter and wood-rush (Luzula sp.) inside the enclosure whilst grass was more frequent in the reference area.

Anva?nda teorier behandlar det offentliga rummets demokratiska funktion och brukares upplevelse av det. En kvalitativ metod har anva?nts da?r observationer och intervjuer med brukare i Trekantsparken och planerare samt planeringsdokument fra?n Stockholms stad har varit grunden fo?r empirin, en kvalitativ analys har sedan utfo?rts.

Uppsatsens målsättning var att försöka hitta lösningar på rotinträngnings-problemen genom ett ökat samarbete mellan VA-verken och parkförvalt-ningarna. Uppsatsen har till stor del byggts på de intervjuer som genomförts i de olika kommunerna. De fyra kommunerna som undersökts är: Malmö, Skövde, Katrineholm och Växjö. Genom intervjuerna i dessa kommuner har jag funnit mönster till hur samarbeten mellan VA-verken och parkförvalt-ningarna utvecklas. En modell för hur samarbeten ska inledas och utvecklas i kommunerna har sedan föreslagits.

The Scanian woodfences has been determined by two mainly elements: Scania's composition of tree species, with a large element of deciduous forest, and the local building tradition which has more in common with the European continent than the Swedish tradition. By examining responses from ethnological question lists deriving from the first half of the 1900s, combined with literature studies, I have been able to deepen and broaden the knowledge behind the various fencing design. In addition I ?ve constructed maps which could illustrate their historical geographic distribution.I have come to the conclusion that there was three main types of woodfences that was most common until the barbed wire was introduced in the early 1900s and later on replaced the elderly woodfences. Common for the three main types is that the base material was made out of Juniperus communis, this largely because of its durability against rot.
