This report describes how a syringe pumpwas developed for Q-linea AB inUppsala Science Park as a bachelor´sthesis at Uppsala University. Thepurpose of the syringe pump is toreplace existing pumps in one of Qlineasdosage instruments. The reasons for whythe pumps are replaced are that they arebig and heavy. Therefore the task was todesign a smaller and lighter syringepump.The goal of the project was to create aprototype of the design that met themechanical requirements posed. Therequirements were met.In the report the work process can befollowed from the development of thespecifications to the final design andtests of the prototype.

With this study, we have chosen to continue our B-essay about dual-diagnosis. In the essay we have done some research on how this target group feels about the treatment from the dependent unit, psychiatry unit, social services unit and the housing environment. We wanted to know about the feelings because during the B-essay we found out that individuals whit the dual-diagnosis is skipped between different caregivers. We used a qualitative method with six interviews from two different housings in south of Sweden. The information we got we used in our result and analysis part, where we found out that the caretaker?s thought the treatment were fine and that it was the surroundings they found the most fault with..

Målet är att skapa en mjuk övergång mellan bergsvägg och Hornsbruksgatan, genom en fusion mellan byggnadstypologi och topografi. Förenandet som skapas mellan gata leder till ökad cirkulation genom byggnaden. Olika byggnadsdelar korsar varandra och integreras. Genom byggnadskorsningarna skapas det möjligheter för en programmix med ett trapphus som förenar park, bostad och kontor med gatan.Genom sluttande tak får man terrasser som följer topografin och leder  till utblickar mot söder, väster och öster. Här bildas spontana mötesplatser mellan boende, kontorsanställda och människor som passerar byggnaden för att ta sig till och från parken..

Banvaktsparken ligger utmed Hällbygatan i stadsdelen Luthagen i Uppsala och är cirka 0,4 hektar stor. En parkering, ett äldreboende och ett bullerplank mot Dalabanan angränsar mot parken. Jag upptäckte parken när jag sommarjobbade på Uppsala kommun under 2013. Jag besökte parken flera gånger och upptäckte att parkens enda besökare verkade vara hundägare som rastade sina hundar i parkens utkant mot Hällbygatan. Syftet med examensarbete är att ge parken en annan utformning och växtgestaltning som kan locka fler besökare.

The study's starting point is the cultural, economic, social and health which is relevant when different levels of society affirms. The empirical data underlying the study is qualitative studies with respondents from a university, a hospital, a school, the Swedish Embassy and an organization in order to create an image of different levels in society means to implement preventive measures on HIV and AIDS to their citizens. The result demonstrates that there are clear shortcomings in its implementation guidance on prevention measures for HIV and AIDS as lack of resources is based.

Norränga is situated on the fringe of the city of Lund, east of the existing district of Linero.The city planning office of Lund municipality has come up with a ?in-depth comprehensive plan? for the exploatation of the eastern area of Lund. The plan concerns an area of 1035 square kilometre which contains at least 1500 nya buildings, two schools, primaryschools, stores and bus station for local bus traffic and the new bus line - Lundalänken. The townplan is inspired from the historical Square block city with defined street system. The municipality has visions of what the green areas should consist of.

This report describes an investigation of the indoor climate in two different workspaces. Since we a big part of our lives are staying indoors in artificial environments, and more particularly in our workplaces, we think it would be interesting to do this investigation. The technical solutions for air treatment systems began with simple natural systems without fans and where the thermal rise of the air applied. In modern time is technical air treating systems used to take care of the fresh air supply. This type of units can supply filtered air with the right temperature to the building. Well-functioning ventilation is essential to bring clean fresh air to the room and effectively remove impurities without sound- or draught problems. The indoor climate is relevant for the output capacity.

The Blötberget deposit is situated in the north-western part of Bergslagen. The mineralization is an apatite-iron oxide ore of Kiruna type. In Bergslagen the apatite-iron oxide ores occur along a zone from Grängesberg through Blötberget to Idkerberget in the northeast and they represent the largest and the most important iron oxide deposit in Sweden, south of Norrbotten.Different REE hosting phosphate phases has been studied by optical microscopy and analyzed by EDS attached to an electron microscope.The key minerals other than iron oxides are apatite, monazite and xenotime. The relative concentration of the REE-bearing phases differs from the other apatite-iron oxide mineralizations in the area, for example Grängesberg, by a higher concentration of xenotime and lower contents of allanite..

This report is about a couple of specially chosen peatlands in eastern Uppland, Sweden. It concerns their development between the year 1922 and 2012. The historic fact originates from a large investigation of peatlands in the south of Sweden made by the Swedish Geological Survey, SGU, in the 1920?s. To be able to choose peatlands an analysis in GIS were made, in which we were able to find locations good enough for our field investigation. During the field investigation we bore to find nice peat cores that later went through several analyses in a lab.

Den undersöker vilka kvalitéer ett woodland bör ha för ett kvarter eller en stadsdel för att kunna ge förutsättningar till en så bra lekmiljö som möjligt. En följdfråga behandlas även; hur bör man med utgångspunkt från dessa kvalitéer designa en park som just Vikenparken i Höganäs kommun? Grönområde - urbanitet - närhet till olika noder - T-bana - urban knytpunkt - Hornstull. Byggnaden ska ta till vara på dessa kvalitéer genom att arbeta med mötet där emellan. Computer games is a growing market with over millions of players that are playing and/or enjoying the play of games on a daily basis. The nerdy gamers that once were, are now becoming professional athletes in the virtual world called eSport. We have identified a lack of studies in this area which implies that there is little data of what it is. In this paper we have focused on the phenomena that is eSport and more closely on the game series Starcraft made by Blizzard Entertainment. Our focus lies in the game series Starcraft and eSport organisations mainly outside South Korea.

To achieve this, the articles published by two newspapers, The Japan Times and The Korea Times, in the last five months have been analysed.
