Syftet med studien var att få ökad insikt och förståelse för lärande av pop- , rock- och soulsång. Speciellt intresse ägnades moment i sångundervis- ningen som berör stilenligt Sound, sväng och personligt Sound/uttryck, och undervisningsmetoder som kan vara lämpliga. Efter granskning av forskning i böcker, tidskrifter, artiklar och sidor på Internet utfördes intervjuer av tre aktiva sångpedagoger i Sverige som arbetar med den populärmusikaliska genren som utgångspunkt. Resultatet visar att elever kan lära sig att sjunga pop och rock stilenligt och med sväng främst genom att lyssna och härma förebilder och föregångare inom stilen, samt genom att eleverna får möjlighet att träffa en pedagog som kan vägleda eleven på ett fruktbart sätt i hans eller hennes utveckling. Det är också av intresse att eleverna får lära sig att reflektera över vad det är de hör i musiken, vad de tycker om och inte, och finna sin egen identitet inom stilarna.

AbstractMy purpose with this study was to learn more about different ways to teach children how to read and to investigate how teachers can use more fiction when they teach.During the years that I have been working in school, I have only met teachers who use a method that is built on Sounds. The children learns to read from books where the words is not put in their right purpose; for example; we can se a sun, a dear looks down in a lake.After my teacher-education in literature I became more and more interested in if it could be possible to use more fiction when you teach children how to read. I also wondered if it was possible to find readers where the sentences are put in a meaningful story.I heard of a method called Whole Language, or the kiwi-method and I decided to find out more about that method. I decided to make a comparison between the ?Sound-method? and the Whole Language-method.I have been using qualitative interviews with both children and teachers with experience from these different ways of teaching.

Denna studie undersöker ifall flerspråkighet påverkar sångelevens sångSound samt hur sångläraren förhåller sig till detta gentemot det nuvarande sångidealet. Studien genomfördes med hjälp av åtta kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer där fyra av informanterna var elever som går estetiska programmet på gymnasieskolan, årskurs ett till tre, med inrikting musik. Resterande fyra informanter var verksamma musiklärare på gymnasieskolan.Resultatet från de åtta intervjuerna visar en del faktorer som är väsentliga för sångelevens utveckling av sitt personliga Sound och uttryck. Sångeleven måste få tydliga direktiv och vara medveten om vad den imiterar och i vilket syfte, samt att sångläraren bör vara medveten om hur mycket den förebildar samt vilket ansvar detta medför under sånglektionen.Resultatet visar också att sånglärarna har olika syn kring huruvida sångSoundet påverkas av det kulturella arv eleverna har. Några av informanterna menar att det är språket som skapar sångSoundet medan andra syftar på att det är något man kan öva fram..

The aim of this thesis is to explore and outline the cataloguing of Sound recordings at two main Swedish audiovisual archives, The National Archive of Recorded Sound and Moving Images Statens ljud- och bildarkiv, SLBA and The Grammophone Record Archive of the Swedish Radio Sveriges Radios grammofonarkiv and its data base GAMBA. As non-book, non-printed, material in many ways differs from printed material, the institutions that deal with this kind of material have often developed their own rules for the cataloguing of it. The general codes for cataloguing, AACR2 and KRS, are insufficiently suited for audiovisual material. That is the reason why the IASA Cataloguing Rules, presented in this thesis, have been created. After the presentation of the IASA rules the problems of accounting for important sections of the catalogue record are discussed such as title, statement of respeonsbility, performers, physical description and notes.

Denna avhandling behandlar stegljudet i två trähus på campus i Växjö. Staden lyfts ofta fram som en bra förebild inom miljö- och klimatfrågor. Det kommunala fastighetsbolag som äger, förvaltar och bygger universitetets byggnader är intresserade av dessa frågor när nya hus ska byggas. De två senast byggda husen är byggda med trästomme, som anses vara ett bra miljöval. Framtida hus förväntas även de byggas med trästomme.

In 1999 the childbearing increased, which in combination with the closure of a number ofpreschools led to the shortage and reduced capacity in available places for youngchildren. The lack of places in preschools has led us to try to find a solution to theproblem and in order to solve the problem we have interviewed personnel of preschoolsin Halmstad. The persons we met were asked to list advantages and disadvantages oftheir preschool and also to come up with innovative solutions and new ideas of how todevelop a satisfactory preschool. This was the basis for us when we drew our drawingsand our main objective was to find a new template for the development of pre-fabricatedpreschools.When drawing a new and modern preschool a number of considerations have to be made,first of all the main objective for the children is play and playtime, a second objective isSound reduction and laws about Sound reduction. Another consideration is how toconstruct the building and which method to be used, for instance should industrialtechniques be considered and pros and cons be listed.The main disappointment amongst the preschool personnel was that they had noinfluence in the planning stage of the new development of the preschool.

I mitt examensarbete har jag valt att försöka undersöka i vilken utsträckning det i en hemmastudio är möjligt att återskapa ett Sound från en professionell inspelningsstudio. Denna fråga är intressant för mig då jag fastnade för hur en produktion lät i ljudbilden. Dels instrumentuppsättningen och deras rytmisering men främst Soundet på helheten i mixen. Det kändes luftigt, stort och brett i lyssningsspektrat trots att det inte var så mycket instrument. Jag har alltid velat utveckla min förmåga att skapa och producera musik men har inte tillgång till så mycket kvalitativ utrustning.

It is a well-known fact that textiles and carpets have benign Sound-absorbing properties. It is desirable to have quantified values of these properties ? especially for architects and interior designers. Background: Bone anchored hearing system is a surgically implantable system for treatment ofindividuals with hearing loss. The Softband is intended for patients who can benefit from a boneanchored hearing system but who are not yet suitable for implant surgery.Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate whether an adhesive bone conductor, Adjoin, canbe used as an alternative to Softband.Material and Method: Twenty adult subjects with normal hearing participated in the study.Measurement of functional gain and speech intelligibility was performed with Softband and Adjoinwhich then were compared. A questionnaire was answered by the participants after the measurementsthat treated their subjective experiences with each option.Results: The objective measurements yielded no overall difference between Softband and Adjoin forthe group studied. The subjective results showed differences in the perceived comfort as well as whichof the two bone conductors that would be preferred to use in everyday life, with Adjoin being thepreferred option. No difference was detected on participants perceived gain, Sound quality and speechintelligibility.Conclusion: Based on the measured results, Adjoin seems to be a suitable alternative to Softband.However, there are questions about how Adjoin works with long-term use..

The title of the paper aims at a comment by one of the students during an interview. It reflects how most of the students experience the lunches in a specific school where the investigation is made. The question of pedagogical lunches has always interested me. Here I have used a method called the Grounded theory. I carried out a qualitative investigation with a number of methods such as interviews and participating observations.

There are different causes such as damage to the inner ear, musculartension and stress. Tinnitus affects many different aspects of an individuals life and often disturbs everyday activities. There are different treatments for tinnitus.

This thesis describes redesign and adaption of a products housing. In order to make it more economical to produce at a lower production volume. The thesis is based upon a prototype that a previous student developed for injection moulding. The goal is to find alternative manufacturing methods, but also to identify parameters that affect the cost of the injection moulding tool.The housing must be tough in order to protect the circuit board inside. But at the same time it must allow Sound, light an electrical communication to pass through.

Detta examensprojekt innehåller olika frågeställningar gällande hur några av Sveriges främsta hårdrocksproducenter arbetar. Eftersom hårdrock är Sveriges andra största musikgenre när man talar om den svenska musikexporten idag 1, måste det finnas något unikt med de producenter som arbetar med denna genre i Sverige, bortsett från att vi har bra artister, musiker och låtskrivare här. Är det samarbetet mellan artist och producent som gör att en skiva låter bra, eller kanske är det den nya digitala teknikens förtjänst att det går bra för svensk hårdrock? Detta är några av de frågor som kommer att behandlas i projektet.Projektet kommer även att innehålla intervjuer med olika hårdrocksproducenter i Sverige och deras syn på de frågeställningar projektet inkluderar, vilket vidare resulterar i en analys av intervjuerna och producenternas Sound. Dessa analyser kommer att vara kopplade till en framställning av viktiga saker man bör ta i beaktande vid musikproduktion av hårdrock.
