IFRS 8 - amerikansk standard i europeisk redovisning

This essay is aiming to go through and study the most important and frequently mentioned terms and titles used in the letters of Paul to denote and describe God, the Father, the Son and the Spirit. These include ?Christ? and ?Lord? as well. The purpose has been two-fold: on the one hand I wished to study the background and meaning of the concepts in question, as used by Paul; on the other hand ? and this has been my main concern ? I specifically wanted to look at what kind of language Paul uses to denote Father, Son and Spirit in terms of their attributed characteristics, roles and theological functions.

Four questions asked are: (i) How and why will learning take place? (ii) What will complicate learning? (iii) How to support and facilitate learning? (iv) Is it possible to identify an influence between identity and learning? To answer these questions a qualitative study in elementary school is done. The results of the investigation are compared with previous research, and an interview with the teacher is presented. The recorded lessons are analyzed with PEA (practical epistemology analysis), and letters from the students with the Ecological Systems Theory of Bronfenbrenner.

Through the lenses of religion?s role in society, the purpose of this thesis is to examine, the role of the Church of Sweden in providing support to people at the end of life. Questions asked are:  "What types of spiritual support is offered by the Church of Sweden during terminal care provided in patients' homes and how is this support expressed in church orders, assembly instructions, plans of operations and congregation letters?" and " How can the work of the Church of Sweden be understood, based on theories of religion's role in society? The method used is a content analysis of the Church Order, assembly instructions, plans of operations and congregation letters in 17 different congregations within the diocese of Lund.

Title: Along one and the same road - a study of the people behind some hand written song books from around the turn of the 19th century. It is based on some hand written songbooks found in homes along the small byroad in Kruse, Alva, Gotland. My own connection to the place is that I was born in one of these houses. During the summer of 2008 interviews were made with four people who live or have lived along this road themselves. Some of them have even lived in the same houses as the owners of the books.

All musik förmedlar något men hur uppfattar mottagaren det?

: Provokationen hos Joanna Rytel

This study critically reviews four works of the artist Joanna Rytel with the intention to find out if and how she is provocative. In order to do that I have studied the reactions on these works, mainly through press material, which differs from letters to the editors and comments posted on discussion forums that's also been used. My conclusion is that Rytel provokes not just because of her choice of subject, but because of her concept of 'art' doesn't agree with the general public's, i.e. 'art' is supposed to be something merely beautiful. The journalists sometimes seems provoked by Rytel's ability to draw attention and have claimed that to be her main aim..

Nya tidens mode : Fåfängan under ett krigshärjat 1500-tal

My master?s thesis is a study of acquisition of photographies during 1958-2008. The questions I proceed from is what patterns lies behind the Royal library's acquisition of photography and how the process of acquisition looks like. The theoretical base which I lean on consists partly of a problematization of the process of cultural heritage and partly of organizational theory. The problematization of the process of cultural heritage is my foundation of this essay.

?Behind The Mirror?

This paper strives to answer ?What happens to the experience of diehard fans when a groupchanges an original song?? and the musical example for this are the German group Blutengeland their songs Behind The Mirror and Reich mir die Hand, which they first performed assymphonic versions at 2012?s Gothic meets Klassik in Leipzig, Germany. Theoretically thispaper is built on the idea that musical meaning conjures not only from the music itself, butalso from the perceiver and the situation.Through five interviews this paper answers who the informants are, what music means forthem and specifically, what the music of Blutengel means for them. The result shows that theinformants were acceptant to the musical change, but for some disappointment would occur ifthe band continued with orchestral instrumentation. The limit for acceptance seems not to liein musical rearrangement but instead in changed artistic identity..
