Norrland - en vacker, harmonisk plats med öppna vyer, fjälltoppar, ljusa sommarnätter, industrier och metertjock snö. Men hur kan man visa upp detta på ett nytt sätt? Syftet med vår konstbok är att visa upp Norrland på ett sätt som inte tidigare gjorts i hopp om att inspirera andra att se möjligheterna och skönheten i en del av Sverige som ofta är underskattad. Vi kommer under följande sidor guida er igenom en långdragen process, från start till mål, vid skapande av något nytt. En process fylld av samarbete, inspiration, fotograferande, illustrerande, poesi och glädje.

Enligt PISAs undersökning (Skolverket, 20I3) uppvisar svenska elever idag sämre prestationer i läsförståelse och matematik. Många påverkansfaktorer är omdiskuterade men varken lässvårigheter eller matematiksvårigheter har berörts. I relation till detta upprättas en litteraturstudie med syftet att undersöka huruvida lässvårigheter samverkar med matematiksvårigheter och hur det påverkar matematikprestationer. Resultatet av studien visar att lässvårigheter inte alltid påverkar matematiskprestationer. Somliga elever uppvisar svårigheter medan andra inte gör det, dock synliggörs kombinationen läs- och matematiksvårigheter oftare än svårigheterna var för sig.

I den svenska skolan idag har ca 15 % av eleverna utländsk bakgrund. Enligt Skolverketsstatistik så klarar de utländska eleverna sig sämre i de nationella proven i matematik än svenska elever. Syftet med studien är att se hur fyra elever med invandrarbakgrund klarar av problemlösning i en gruppdiskussion i matematik på gymnasienivå. Eleverna i studien är allafödda i Sverige med invandrade föräldrar.Den empiriska datan består av observation av en gruppdiskussion, när eleverna löser ett matematiskt problem, samt efterföljande enskilda intervjuer. Observationen analyserades utifrån problemlösningsprocessens fyra ingående delar: Förstå, Planera, Genomföra och Värdera.

This study investigates the planning process of a university library building. The study s major concern is the cooperation of the main participants in this process: librarians, architects and representatives of university colleges and universities. First the authors present the readers with an overview of the litterature concerning this subject. Then follows a presentation of the three case studies. The authors have interviewed representatives of the three different occupational groups at three different library-building projects: Malmö University, Halmstad University College and the department of social- and behavioural studies at Lund University.

This essay discusses immigrants? prospects of constructing an identity in a multicultural society like Sweden. The discussion is primarily theoretical but offers a few empirical examples to demonstrate its relevance. Furthermore, the ontological standpoint of this essay draws on an understanding of the world and our knowledge as constructed which implies that identities are also constructed. The process of identity making is further understood as a relational process in which others recognition is central to the individuals own understanding of his or hers identity.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe in part the public library users?process when deciding which books to borrow. Focus is on the library users?experience of the process and how literature exposure can support them intheir choice of book. This study seeks to find out to what extent choices arespontaneously made at the library, which elements of exposure that the userfinds helpful in the process and which factors usually influence the user infinding new things to read.The data was gathered through 100 structured interviews with public libraryusers.

Background: The strategic importance of purchasing departments is increasing, yet supply risks are rather uncharted. The procurement of coffee involves supply risks and the purchaser needs to be able to handle these to enable the roasting-house to produce coffee as specified. Purpose: To chart risks in connection with the procurement of coffee as well as the possibilities of handling these. The thesis also examines if general risk management theories are applicable on the supply risk present within Swedish roasting-houses and can become an integral partof the purchasing process. Method: A qualitative case study of the purchasing process of Swedish roasting- houses.

There are no general working processes that can stand for how all the investment process is preceded in the organization of major Swedish banks. The purpose of this research is to examine the implications of the provisions in the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance (the Code) concerning auditor attestation of the internal control report. We will focus on how the auditors? augmented responsibilities will affect the efficiency in the audit process.Our research indicates that the main benefit from reviewing the internal control report is achieving more reliable internal controls, which results in greater prevention of misstatements in the financial statements.
