The aim of this study is to examine if library and archive will meet professionally in digitization projects. The study has been conducted as a discourse analysis in accordance with the methods of Norman Fairclough, professor of Linguistics at Lancaster University. The texts are seen as linguistic and semiotic elements of social events that can be analyzed as parts of the social process ? discourse. The relationship between events and structures in society will be part of the social practice.The basic data derive from five public documents collected from Swedish government agencies.

Syftet med studien är öka kunskapen om sjukhuskuratorns profession och kurativt arbete inom geriatrisk vård. För att uppfylla syftet har jag utgått från följande frågeställningar: Vad kännetecknar kuratorns arbete inom geriatrisk vård, vilken kompetens behövs för kurativt arbete inom geriatrisk vård, hur upplever sjukhuskuratorn sin yrkesroll i teamwork, och vilka faktorer gynnar känslomässiga svåra situationer. Studien bygger på kvalitativ metod med fem individuella intervjuer med sjukhuskuratorer verksamma inom geriatrisk vård. Intervjuerna gjordes utifrån en semistrukturerad frågeguide som utgick från teman. Resultatet visar att vara kurator inom geriatrisk vård innebär egentligen att arbeta med hela samhället.

Bakgrund: Kommunikationen har en grundläggande betydelse för allt omvårdnadsarbete med patienter, men blir ännu viktigare när det rör människor som vårdas palliativt. Vårdpersonalen ska ge korrekt information till patient och samtidigt kunna lyssna på patienten och tyda patientens individuella sätt att kommunicera genom verbal och icke verbal kommunikation. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa kommunikationen i mötet vid palliativ vård. Metoden: Studien utfördes som en litteraturstudie. Författarna valde att analysera nio vetenskapliga artiklar, där alla valda innehöll området kommunikation.

The purpose of this study was to use qualitative interviews with students at Södertörn University to find out what drives the men who begin to study for preschool teachers, how they are treated and how they are influenced by others. I also wanted to find out what the informants believe is the cause to why so few men apply to the program and what they think need to happen to change this.This is a qualitative study based on the selected students' experiences. In order to get different perspectives, I chose to interview three students and former students. One of them chose to terminate their studies after half the time, the second is at the end of the program and the third graduated a couple of years ago and has been working for a while.I originated in the theory of ethical concepts of gender, gender contract, "token" and hegemonic masculinity. Previous research addresses that the perception of men in pre-schools can look very different.

Sweden has an obligation to report child abuse suspicions to Social Services. According to Socialtjänstlagen (swedish constitution) 1 § Chapter 14, all employees in agencies affecting children, such as schools, have a responsibility to report their suspicions. Research shows that many abuses are not reported. The consequence of this is that Social Services does not hear about all cases of abused and harmed children. One profession where reporting is mandated is school counselors.

This essay is about my meeting as an educator at a preschool with a child who is deemed to be in need of special assistance. I have worked in preschools and schools for nearly fifteen years and have met a great many children with different needs during these years. I tell in this essay about my relationship with Lucas who is a child I feel need special support in his everyday life. Lucas has what we in the preschool world call impulse controlled behavior. I also feel that he is disturbed by external stimuli such as sound and he has difficulty with social interactions with friends.

This study contains how pre-school teachers talk about their mission as tutors and their assignments to educate student teachers in relation to the document that contains information concerning practice-based learning. The students are involved in communities of practice regarding pre-schools for children between one year and five years old. The pre-school teachers will share their daily work and pedagogical responsibility in the activities, meaning that the students are expected to show social engagement in interaction between children and adults. When teachers from the University visit the pre-school, the students are supposed to have a lesson or activity with the pupils in the practice class. And afterwards the students, the pre-school teachers and the teacher from University together have a developing discuss about the outcome objectives that the students are supposed to reach during the practice.

Professioner är viktiga för samhällets välbefinnande och samhället måste ha ett förtroende för professioner och dess medlemmar för att det samhällsekonomiska systemet ska fungera väl. På senare år har dock förtroendet för revisorer börjat ifrågasättas, vilket till stor del beror på de företagsskandaler som ägt rum. Många gånger har revisorer agerat på ett sätt som inte är förenligt med professionens etiska värderingar. Vad är det då som påverkar revisorers professionella agerande i olika situationer? Och går det att förklara revisorers professionella agerande?Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att identifiera faktorer som kan förstärka eller försvaga revisorers professionella agerande.Metod: Vi har använt oss av ett deduktivt tillvägagångssätt i vår studie, där tidigare forskning fått ett stort utrymme.

The aim of this study was to describe how retired nurses, educated in Uppsala, and students at Uppsala University's nursing program experience the importance of vocation in education and career choice. None of the participants had experienced vocation as a reason for choosing nursing as a career. The main reason was instead a desire to work with people. They also expressed that it was a profession like any other. The retired nurses said that the education was something of an up-bringing with religious elements.

Auditing has long existed and it was in 1899 that the first Swedish organization for accountants SRS, Swedish Audit Society, was created and in 1923 that FAR, Association of Chartered Accountants, was formed. It was after the Kreuger crash in the 1930s that authorized auditors had their breakthrough. After the crash the accounting profession has endured fierce criticism when the audit was flawed and it was during this period that authorized auditors became more widespread, the concept was developed independently and the importance of auditor independence became evident.We have in our paper therefore chosen to focus on auditor independence and to make that it requires the independence to relate to something. Therefore we have chosen to focus on the interaction between the auditor and the client. To explain what independence means we have used the analysis model, the expectation gap and communication, and explain what the audit entails and what tasks the auditor has.

Vi har gjort en textanalys på de två senaste statliga offentliga utredningarna, som föreslår en ny lärarutbildningsreform, med deras tillhörande propositionerna. I dessa har vi undersökt hur reformerna motiveras och legitimeras genom argumentationen. Vi har sedan delat in argumentationen i olika kategorier för att få en bättre struktur och kartläggning av de olika typer av argument som förekom. Vi kom fram till att de flesta argument yrkar på en lärarutbildningsreform tar sin utgångspunkt i att det skett en samhällsförändring och därav har det uppstått en ny syn på lärarrollen samt en ny kunskapssyn.  Även argument för en stärkt profession och högre status har förekommit..

Den här masteruppsatsen handlar om hur kiropraktiken togs emot och utvecklades i Sverige från det att de första kiropraktorerna kommer under mellankrigsperioden, med början runt år 1921, och fram till dess att organisationen Diplomerade Chiropractorers Förening inregistreras år 1936. Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera processer för görandet av professionsidentitet och professionskultur med utgångspunkt i en kulturanalytisk studie av skrifter, artiklar, brev och publikationer som kiropraktorerna själva producerat och/eller figurerar i. Min huvudfrågeställning är: ? Vilka vägar och strategier för att uppnå erkännande och organisering som profession valde de första svenska kiropraktorernas under perioden 1921-1936 och vilka bakomliggande processer, konflikter samt orsaker var det som ledde fram till dessa val? Syftet med studien har varit att försöka finna svar på frågeställningen: Hur uppfattar lärare sin profession utifrån tid och rum? Och vilka omständigheter är avgörande och ligger till grund för lärares utformning av sin undervisning samt vilka delar av arbetet behöver bearbetas för att läraryrket ska kunna nå en högre professionell nivå? Metoden som vi använt oss av för att försöka få svar på våra frågeställningar har varit kvalitativa intervjuer, som vilar på enhermeneutisk och fenomenologisk forskningsansats, där intervjufrågorna innehar en låg grad av standardisering och strukturering. För att studien ska belysas på bästa möjliga sätt så presenteras relevant litteratur och tidigare forskning inom området i studiens bakgrundskapitel. Resultatet som framkom genom intervjuerna tyder i stor utsträckning på att lärare känner sig stressade i det dagliga arbetet och att de är begränsade i sitt yrke utifrån den tid som är avsatt för arbetet. En viss uppgivenhet märks hos informanterna utifrån att det är så mycket de vill ta till vara på och utveckla, men att tiden inte räcker till.

Under de senaste decennierna har betydande reformvågor sköljt över det svenska utbildningsväsendet, en majoritet utav vilka fallit inom ramen för det nya styrsystem som brukar gå under betäckningen New Public Management. Detta har medfört att skolornas organisationsstrukturer i allt större utsträckning styrts till att efterlikna de företagssystem, så starkt präglade utav revision och mätning, vilka står att finna i den privata sektorn. Studien har stöpt sin utgångspunkt i antagandet att alla organisationstrender har sin källa i det mänskliga medvetandet vars kunskaper, ej sällan, är alstrade kring kollektivt konstruerade verkligheter och sanningar. Ett angreppssätt som kunnat delge förståelse och mening till denna subjektiva meningsvärld är diskursanalysens grundprinciper. En diskurs kan kortfattat förstås som ett bestämt sätt att tala om, och förstå världen, där diskursanalysen ämnar belysa språkets givna mönster och konstruktioner.
