Denna rapport ar resultatet av ett examensarbete som har utforts vid institutionen for informationsoch kommunikationsteknik, Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan (KTH), och omfattar 15 hp. Rapporten presenterar ett arbete dar examensarbetarna har utvecklat en terrang med hojdskillnader och ljussattning, partikeleffekter (CPU-GPU implementering) som liknar ett fyrverkeri, partikeleffekter (GPU implementering) som visar olika monster samt en kamera for att kunna observera spelvarlden fran alla mojliga olika vinklar i 3D med API:et Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL).LWJGL ar ett lagniva-API som riktar sig mot nyborjare och professionella spelutvecklare i programspraket Java. Flera tekniker exponeras istallet for att mappa lagniva-funktioner i objektorienterad programmeringsparadigm som manga javautvecklare ar vana vid. LWJGL hanterar sin egen grafik, ljud och styrkontroller enbart for att fa en Solid grund for moderna spel och en battre anvandarupplevelse. Den grafiska renderingen skots med OpenGL.Syftet med det har examensarbetet var att utvardera LWJGL om den ar kompetent nog att anvandas i samband med spelutveckling.

The market for security is one filled with great opportunities. The security services companies are numerous and diverse, the Swedish market is dominated by two large companies: Securitas Bevakning AB and Falck Security AB. In this study we have focused on the bigger of the two, Securitas. This report describes and analysis the security service branch and its surroundings in an involved manner. The target group of the result is mainly people within the security branch.

The Baltic Sea is threatened by eutrophication that largely is due to nutrient leaching from farmland within the catchment area. To solve this problem the surrounding countries cooperate within various configurations such as HELCOM and the EU-financed project Baltic Compass. Poor manure management in Russia has been discussed frequently the last couple of years. A literature review of different types of reports and legal acts is the core of this degree project which has been performed in connection to two ongoing research projects financed by EU (Baltic Compass) and SIDA. It is supplemented with interviews with Swedish agricultural consultants and travel reports from two occasions when I had the opportunity to discuss with Russians active within the agricultural sector. Different hypotheses were investigated and discussed. The environmental debate in Russia is quiet and there is a widespread approach that economic profit always trumps environmental concern ? a Soviet heritage that influence the Russian agriculture considerably. The Russian legal acts on stable manure management focus mainly on sanitary questions and only secondary on nutrient leaching.

Detta är ett examensarbete på 20 högskolepoäng som utförts hos uppdragsgivaren Permobil Design AB. Arbetet är en avslutning på ingenjörsutbildningen Industriell Design 120 poäng vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Arbetet har bedrivits individuellt med mål att ta fram ett helt nytt koncept för Permobil att jobba vidare med. Projektet har utförts på uppdrag av Permobil Design AB, Timrå. Företaget är ledande inom tillverkning och utveckling av eldrivna rullstolar och de flesta förknippar idag Permobil som en benämning på en elrullstol och inte ett märke.

This paper is a critique of an article in the Swedish magazine Filosofisk Tidskrift (Philosophical Magazine), in which professor Per Bauhn maintains that there is something wrong with having a group perspective in moral and political matters. In this article Bauhn makes three conclusions. The first one is that you violate Hume's law if you draw the conclusion that something is an oppression only from descriptive premises, which for example communitarians does according to Bauhn. He argues that ?oppression? is a normative term, and therefore it requires at least one normative premise.

Rapporten innehåller redovisningen av examensarbetet utfört under vårterminen 2011 i kurs KPP301. Arbetet koncentrerades kring konceptframtagningen av en bomlös sadel med hänsyn till uppdragsgivarens, Linda Persson, önskemål. Uppdragsgivaren driver enskild firma Equra och möter i sitt dagliga arbete skadade hästar. De flesta skador som hästar lider av är orsakade av dåligt anpassade traditionella sadlar som i sin konstruktion har en hård och oelastisk bom. Den nya sadeln skulle vara utan den problematiska bommen men garantera lika bra tryckfördelning och stöd.

Q-Med är ett medicintekniskt företag som tillverkar medicintekniska produkter, exempelvis produkter som är baserade på gel som innehåller bland annat hyaluronsyra. Gelen är placerad i en spruta som innehåller en gummikolv som är i kontakt med gelen.Idag används allt mer polymera material för olika tillämpningar, bland annat som medicintekniska produkter och läkemedelsförpackningar i läkemedelsbranschen. Q-Meds produkter betraktas som medicintekniska produkter på många marknader. Medicintekniska produkter och läkemedelsförpackningar innehåller ofta material som består av polymerer, exempelvis gummi och plast. På dessa material ställs olika krav så att dessa inte kontaminerar den produkt de är i kontakt med, då detta kan leda till olika negativa konsekvenser, exempelvis toxiska reaktioner i kroppen eller sänkt effektivitet hos läkemedlet/produkten.

The topic of our thesis is Packaging Design as a Brand Building Tool and we are presenting the Scandinavian perspective. We found the topic interesting because, from a theoretical point of view, we identified a scarcity in research focusing on packaging design as a brand management tool, and from a practical point of view, we found out that businesses use packaging design at different levels in their communication efforts. Thus we wanted to provide both academia and business world with a clear picture to what extent and how businesses use packaging design in their brand-building process. Therefore the aim of our thesis is to provide practitioners and academicians alike with a better understanding of how packaging design can be used to create strong brands in the FMCG sector in the Scandinavian market. To reach the stated aim first we provided a Solid theoretical background of packaging, its elements and its role in the marketing mix.

Gross motor skills among Swedish pupils. An overview of functional motor abilities among Swedish children and adolescents.IntroductionPhysical Education (PE) teachers in Sweden have noticed that pupils are getting worse in their ability to manage gross motor skills and in their aerobic practice. The gross motor skills and coordinative skills are the Solid ground for sports and other health activities. If not developing their gross motor skill children tends to avoid taking part in games and sports. The benefits of sports and outdoor activities such as social and health benefits can therefore be missed.

It gives an understanding of why the world looks as it does, gives the identity, related and confirms the origin as well as inspire the epic hero tales that are not always completely true. Within school, the Swedish National Agency for Education instructs that:The subject aims to stimulate students' curiosity and desire to broaden their world in a time dimension.

Detta arbete har utförts på deltid under perioden juni 2009 ? maj 2010 på uppdrag av Monoflex Nordic AB i Hallstahammar. Företaget konstruerar, producerar och säljer dragkrokar till personbilar och lätta lastbilar. Uppgiften bestod initialt i att studera eventuella fördelar och nackdelar hos ett byte av materialkvalitet från stålet SR235JRG2 till S355JR i dragbalken hos en personbilsdragkrok och dess laserskurna delar. Resultatet av denna studie kommer att utgöra en del av beslutsunderlaget för kommande konstruktionsarbete hos företaget. Då det på företaget under detta arbetes gång även väcktes ett intresse för att dels utvärdera vad användning av pulverfylld rörtråd istället för Solid svetstråd skulle få för betydelse för hållfastheten i en konstruktion, men också för att se om en robotsvetsad prototyp klarade utmattningsprovet bättre än en manuellt svetsad prototyp, har denna studie utökats till att omfatta även det. Försöken som har gjorts grundar sig på att en specifik dragkrokskonstruktion inte blev godkänd förrän efter tretton omkonstruktioner och därpå följande utmattningsprover.

I ett samhälle där tiden blir en allt mer avgörande faktor ökar konsumenternas efterfrågan på tidsbesparande konsumtion. E-handel erbjuder konsumenter besparandet av tid och bekvämlighet genom att det är möjligt att göra inköp, när som helst och var som helst. När företag väljer att tillämpa e-handel innebär det att de inte längre kan möta kunden öga mot öga. Vid hemparty, som är en form av direkthandel, sker försäljningen i direktkontakt med kunden. Försäljningen äger rum i kundens hem tillsammans med dennes vänner och bekanta.

The aim of the study is to compare the both religious figures, Mirza Ghulam Ahmadfrom India and Muhammad Ahmad from Sudan regarding their different messages, to illustrate the social, political andreligious factors that lead to the entirely different profile and image of these two men and how their organizations havedeveloped after their death up till today.

Bankmarknaden i Sverige har genomgått stora förändringar under de senaste åren. En rad nya aktörer har etablerat sig på bankmarknaden och till följd av detta så har konkurrensen ökat. Denna ökade konkurrens har medfört att kundrörligheten ökat mellan bankerna och vi har på senare år sett att många kunder lämnat de fyra storbankerna för bättre villkor hos de mindre och mer specialiserade nischbankerna. Trots denna utveckling så har de fyra storbankerna cirka 80% av bankmarknaden i dagsläget och kunderna verkar i stor utsträckning vara ovilliga att byta bank. Utifrån denna bakgrund undrar vi varför inte fler bankkunder i Sverige byter bank när det borde vara välkänt att många skulle tjäna pengar på att göra detta.
