Ett Film som projekt, en film om ljud, en film om ljudet i film. En film inspelad professionellt med professionella medarbetare. Kandidatarbetet gick ut på både skapa en film inriktad på ljud och skapa ett fungerande filmteam. Arbetet tar upp både det tekniska inom filmljud men även processen i ett filmteam. I arbetet följer vi processen från dess början till dess slut.

This bachelor?s degree thesis was conducted in mechanical engineering at Halmstad University during spring semester 2010 in close collaboration with the company Gremo AB, located in Ätran, Sweden. Gremo AB produces, developes and sales forest machines in both Sweden and on the international market.Gremo AB belongs to one of the market leaders in forest industry, especially with their forwarder. In order to become a market leader even with their harvester, the company decided to change the harvester to have a swivel and a leveling driver cabin.The aim with this bachelor?s degree thesis was to develop a design concept for the harvester driver cabin, which Gremo AB can apply on the new harvester.

Problemställning: Erosion är ett problem längs många stränder i Sveriges. Ett flertal stränder i Lomma kommun (sydvästra Skåne) har eroderat under en längre tid, vilket har negativt påverkat kustnära infrastrukturer och aktiviteter. Föreliggande studie fokuserar på erosionsproblemen längs en kuststräcka definierad av Öresundsvägen och V:a Kennelvägen i Bjärred, beläget i norra delen av kommunen. Där hotas bebyggelse och infrastruktur av vågor som skapas av stormar vilka mestadels uppträder under höst- och vinterperioden. Stormarna bidrar till höga uppspolningshöjder genom vågorna som tillsammans med höga vattenstånd eroderar material från strandbankarna.

Cache simulator is a tool to increase the understanding of a cache memory. Therefore cache memory simulation is included in the course Computer Engineering IS1200 at the Royal Institution of Technology. The purpose of this project is to develop a cache memory simulator for education. The existing MipsIt and Mips Simulator which is currently used in IS1200 has been the main source of inspiration. This resulted in the development of the cache memory simulator LMSim.

I dagens samhälle spelar informationssystem en viktig roll i de flesta företag och organisationer. Informationssystemets uppgift är att tillgodose och hjälpa användarna med information och informationshantering samt att leda till en effektivisering.Arbetet med att utveckla databaserade informationssystem är problematiskt och systemutvecklingsprojekt överstiger ofta budget både vad gäller tid och pengar. Återkommande problem är att systemen inte gör vad användaren vill samt att systemen inte utnyttjas till full kapacitet. Svårigheten med kravhanteringen är något som anses vara en orsak till misslyckandena.Den viktigaste informationskällan för systemutvecklarna då det gäller att ta reda på systemkraven är användarna. Då användarna spelar en viktig roll i kravhanteringen, vilken i sin tur spelar en viktig roll i systemutvecklingsprocessen, är detta ett intressant problemområde.Denna rapports fokus ligger på hur användarna ser på kravhanteringsprocessen.

To save energy it?s popular to build houses with low energy loss. In these houses the walls are keeping a lower temperature in the external side which leads to a higher relative humidity. In addition more material, such as wood studs, are used which means that there is more moisture to dry. More moisture in combination with higher relative humidity may pose a higher risk of microbial growth.

Vi har i vårt examensarbete undersökt Helsingborgs studentsituation på uppdrag av Helsingborgs Kommun. Redan nu är det bostadsbrist för Helsingborgs studenter och värre blir det i och med att studenterna förväntas nästan fördubblas dubbelt de närmaste fem åren. Därför behöver Helsingborg ett nytt studenthem omgående. Syftet med denna rapport har varit att utreda studenternas boendesituation i Helsingborg, för att sedan kunna presentera den bästa eller lämpligaste lösningen för ett nytt studenthem. Tanken är att denna rapport ska kunna ge Helsingborgs Kommun underlag för en eventuell nyproduktion.

ERP system is divided in several applications with a modular software design that allow people in every department in a company to store and retrieve information accurately and in real-time. This master thesis investigates attitudes toward ERP systems among business organisations and ERP suppliers with the overall purpose of analysing to which extent a new ERP system will bring change in the business process. This has for many companies resulted in an increased interest to explore the possibilities of mobile platforms and how they can be integrated in various business areas. As the usage of mobile platforms in industrial applications is a new area, it is difficult for companies to estimate their potential, and what contributions the different platforms can give.This master thesis investigates the possibilities and limitations for the consultant firm Combitech when integrating mobile platforms and handheld devices in industrial applications. This is accomplished through a comparison between the platforms and by considering the possible areas of use for the mobile platforms based on experiences from companies and research in the area.For a company with the intent to deliver services that use mobile platforms, it is important to be able to combine expertise and resources to effectively attract customers. More than half of the implemented IT-projects go over budget, deadline or simply fail. The processes in an IT-project requires technical competence to be present among the project participants to ensure the achievement of business goals and to make organisations competitive. The success of an IT-project largely depends on the project manager which makes it interesting to further investigate what impact the project manager?s technical competence has on the project. Previous research shows differing opinions whether technical competence is considered important for the project manager to be successful or not.

Förutom de ekonomiska strategimålen finns ett värde att identifiera sina ogripbara,tysta värden ? humankapital, kundrelationer, varumärken, inno-vationskapital och företagskultur.Utbudet av mjukvara för IT-stöd för balanserat styrkort är idag stort men vilka faktorer bör finnas med i ett IT-stött balanserat styrkort för att ge organisationer den helhetssyn och flexibilitet som krävs?Syfte:Att identifiera de faktorer som bör finnas med i ett användbart IT-stöd för balanserat styrkort efter de förutsättningar och önskemål som finns i vårdbolag.Metod:Utifrån systemsynsättets tankesätt att helheter alltid avviker från summan av dess delar har en explorativ fallstudie genomförts ge-nom att studera befintligt system och genom intervjuer med användare.Slutsats:De viktigaste funktionerna i ett IT-stöd för balanserat styrkort bör fokusera på att tydliggöra strategier och samband i organisationen, det bör innehålla verktyg för kommunikation, dokumentation av gemensamma synsätt och mål och mätningar och det bör stödja ut-veckling av styrkort. För att kunna genomföra ett framgångsrikt styrkortsarbete är IT-stödet bara en faktor av många. Andra faktorer är minst lika viktiga för att skapa ett verkningsfullt styrkort..

Micronic Laser Systems AB produces and develops machines for the photo mask production market. One of their products is the Omega machine which exposes photo masks using 5 laser beams simultaneously. It is important that the distance between the each laser beam, the x-separation, is the same. The x-separation is today measured by exposing a photo mask with a certain pattern and thereafter measured with a metrology system. This takes to much time and it is desired to find a faster method to measure the x-separation without loosing precision.The task for this master thesis is to improve an existing measurement method which uses a calibration mask.

This thesis revolves around co-opetition and boundary spanning activities with IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) as research case. The main objective is to through qualitative interviews and a passive observation of email conversations explore how the participants of IETF experience and is affected by a double membership where they sometimes are cooperating with their competitors. Theories states that boundary spanning activities can create role conflicts for these participants when different role-senders, IETF and the employer, send incompatible expectations. We also believe that this can have a negative impact on discussions and the standard development process, which is why we are conducting the passive observations mentioned above.The result shows that the environment of co-opetition is a contributing factor to role-conflicts. These conflicts appear when participants are forced to choose between the role as an employee and the role as an IETF participant.
