The purpose of this study is to see how preschool teachers are working with supportive signs and if it is a working tool for children's language development. Is the supportive signing just for kids with special need for support or can it be good for all children?I've done the study by interviewing preschool teachers that is working with supportive signs in preschool. I also had a questionnaire for parents that yielded less fruitful results. I have chosen to use children's language and constructivist and socio-cultural theories.What I came up with is that the supportive signs are very helpful in preschools, but it requires a lot from the one doing it.

In the preschool curriculum there is not much described when it comes to the subject of music. What is written about the aesthetic subjects is related to the overall learning moments, rather than separated into objectives for each subject. The learning includes, among other things, that the children will be offered a variety of cultural experiences. However, there is no explanation to what should be included in the use of music. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the function of preschool song circles, based on three preschool teachers' stories.

Denna uppsats undersöker runformerna belagda i gotländska inskrifter från medeltiden och reformationstiden. Syftet är delvis att inventera samtliga runformer, delvis att belysa deras bruk, utveckling och spridning ur ett kronologiskt och materialmässigt perspektiv.Inventeringen görs genom en typologisk modell som möjliggör identifieringen av runformernas distinktiva och redundanta drag, och följaktligen deras indelning i graftyper och graftypsvarianter.Den stora variationen som präglar runristarnas teckenuppsättning, liksom uppkomsten och utvecklingen av nya medeltida runformer förklaras ur olika synvinklar. För vissa graftyper, bl. a. den gotländska s-runan, blir alfabetsinterna utvecklingstendenser aktuella, såsom homogenitetsprincipen och hasta + coda?principen.

Den teoretiska ramen utgår från Vygotskijs och Säljös socio-kulturella perspektiv som redogör för att barnet lär i samspel med sin omgivning.SyfteVi undersöker pedagogers uppfattningar och beskrivningar om den egna förskolans fysiska inomhusmiljö, och hur planlösningen styr pedagogernas förutsättningar att förändra miljön.MetodStudien grundar sig på en kvalitativ metod. Intervju och observation är de redskap som använts. I intervjuerna ingår tre pilotintervjuer och fem respondenter intervjuades därefter på de två förskolorna som ingår i studien. Analysen inspireras av den fenomenografiska analysen.ResultatResultatet visar att pedagogerna arbetar aktivt med sin fysiska inomhusmiljö men önskar att de fick mer kompetensutveckling inom ämnet, de önskar även att de fick större resurser att röra sig med.

Youth presentation of self on FacebookAuthors: Nicole Dreher & Anders SkoglundPresented: 01.06.2010Purpose: The purpose of this thesis was to examine how the, in the study, participating youths make their presentation of self on their Facebook profiles.Methodology: The method used in the thesis was a social semiotic analysis focusing on the social semiotic concepts: semiotic resource, semiotic potential, affordance, denotation and connotation. A social semiotic analysis of composition was also used with the purpose to gain a deeper knowledge of the social semiotic affordances of Facebook?s composition.Theoretical perspectives: The theoretical base of this thesis consists mainly of Erving Goffman?s theory on presentation of self in everyday life as well as relevant theories to youth culture in sociology and identity in social psychology.Conclusions: The results show that the youth?s presentations of selves mostly takes place in their profile picture, status updates, groups, fan pages and through their communication with other users on their wall. The borders between front and back stage on Facebook entirely depends on the norms that the reader expects the profile owner to uphold.

The intention of this study is to find out how the female celebrity is portrayed in women?s magazines directed at women of different age groups. The magazines that I have chosen to analyse are Frida, Veckorevyn and Damernas Värld. My aim is to find out what kind of celebrity appears in the magazines in terms of occupation and topics in the articles. Furthermore, the aim is also to determine whether the celebrity is portrayed in a different or similar way depending on the target group.

The reason is, inter alia, the increase of weight in the community, but there is also research showing that sugar is harmful to children. The discussions on sugar and children are also a hot media topic.I have chosen to use a qualitative method, interviews, to gather material for the essay. I have interviewed a teacher and a cook in three different preschools, in different municipalities. I have also looked at their various nutrition policies to see how the guidelines for their work on diet and health look like.

Syftet med studien är att få en fördjupad kunskap om innebörden av Time som begrepp samt att ge en bild av hur erfarna lärare hanterar ämnet i sin undervisning. Denna studie har sin teoretiska utgångspunkt i det sociokulturella perspektivet och hur medierande redskap används i undervisningen.Den kvalitativa forskningsintervjun användes som metod för att få svar på mina frågor. De fem informanterna arbetar i antingen Värmlands eller Örebro Län. De är alla verksamma pedagoger på nivåerna från gymnasium upp till musikhögskola och de undervisar i olika musikämnen. Resultatet visar att ämnet handlar om hur man, som musiker, placerar sina toner i förhållande till en given puls samt att alla informanter understryker att Time är viktigt och bör undervisas i.

The aim of the current study was to examine the radical right-wing sympathizers in Sweden. To fulfill this aim, a quantitative case study on Sweden Democrats sympathizers was conducted. More specifically, this study has examined socio-economic backgrounds and political attitudes of the Sweden Democrat sympathizers. The results show that sympathizers of Sweden Democrats are higher among younger people and men. The results also show a higher support for Sweden Democrats among people with lower education and low income that also live in small towns and in the countryside.

Furthermore, I want to know how they think information can be used in their future occupation. Seven student nurses were included in the study. A qualitative method with personal interviews was used. The analysis of the empirical material was made according to a socio-cultural perspective.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to gain insight into the attitudes of children´slibrarian towards the position of the printed Children?s book in today?s medialandscape. The reason for our interest is our belief that librarian?s attitudes to newmedia and their work practice have an effect on how children perceive books andreading. The study is built on qualitative interviews among four children?s librarians.Our theoretical framework stems from a variety of researchers within the fields ofpedagogy and media studies such as David Buckingham, Sonia Livingstone, NeilPostman, Ylva Ellneby and Margaret Mackey.

BAKGRUND: I bakgrunden har tidigare undersökningar och litteratur tagits upp som berör vikten av en varierad matematikundervisning i relation till elevers lärande. Utöver tidigare undersökningar görs även kopplingar till vår läroplan för det obligatoriska skolväsendet, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet, Lpo-94. Undersökningen utgår ifrån det socio-kulturella perspektivet.SYFTE: Syftet med undersökningen är att ta del av verksamma lärares erfarenheter gällande en varierad matematikundervisning. Därigenom hoppas jag också att kunna vidga min egen kompetens inom området.3METOD: Undersökningen har ett kvalitativt förhållningssätt där tillväga-gångssättet är en Self report, det vill säga en intervju som skrivs ner av deltagarna.RESULTAT: Respondenternas svar visade på tydliga skäl till varför det är viktigt att variera undervisningen. I sina redogörelser beskrev även respond-enterna flera olika hjälpmedel och aktiviteter som de använder sig av för att hjälpa eleverna i deras lärande..

The purpose of this thesis is to see how film can be used to invigorate children?s language development. There is not much research regarding this, which is why we have chosen to study this particular topic. The study consists of questionnaires, an interview and a pilot study. We have chosen to proceed from a socio-cultural perspective, language perspective and learning perspective, thus we are interested in the teacher?s views and thoughts about film as a learning tool complemented by what children can gain through film.

The aim of this Bachelor?s thesis is to obtain understanding and knowledge about how literary scholars collaborate regarding information. Seven scholars have been studied in the aim to find out social and cultural elements which create particular prerequisites for their practice, with focus on information sharing. The method used has consisted of semi-structured interviews. The informants have been studied from a socio cultural and domain analysis starting point, which means that they are studied in the light of being members in their practice.
