Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur några pedagoger i olika skolor uppfattar sin professionalitet när det gäller att samtala med föräldrar och elever vid eventuella samtal som upplevs som svåra. I vår studie har vi intervjuat sex stycken pedagoger på tre olika skolor i Stockholms län. De pedagoger vi valt att intervjua är en rektor, en specialpedagog, en kurator och tre lärare i de lägre åldrarna. Vi kommer förutom dessa sex pedagoger även genomföra en försöksintervju med en lärare. Studien utgår från ett interaktionistiskt perspektiv och bygger på teorier från Vygotskij, Bronfenbrenner och Mead.

The senior essay examines the geographical imaginations, notions of Self and community that were mobilized in the media and by the government in conjunction with an event, namely, the space voyage of Christer Fuglesang ? the first Swedish astronaut in space on December ___ 2006. The study is a critical investigation of media discourses, representations of space, and geographical imaginations that were triggered by the event. The specific issues addressed by this study are (a) which representations of Sweden were mobilized in narrating the event? (b) In what ways has Fuglesang´s space voyage influenced the image of Sweden? (c) How was the event rallied vis-à-vis discourses of entrepreneurial culture and neoliberal growth by the government? (d) Which themes and clichés were mustered in the media dramaturgy of the event? (e) Which topics were excluded in media narratives and representation of the event? (f) Have familiar geographical imaginations, notions of Self and community been reconfigured? If so, how?The present study analyzes narratives of the event in the two largest newspapers in Sweden - Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter, as well the two biggest TV-channels ? Swedish Television and TV4.

I det dagliga mötet med elever ställs lärare inför utmaningar som kräver att läraren besitter en förmåga att ta ställning, både etiskt och moraliskt. Dessa utmaningar kan vara av det slaget att de resulterar i en konflikt. Denna konflikt blir ett dilemma då läraren tvingas göra avvägningar mellan olika etiska och moraliska hänsyn, i syfte att hantera situationen. Hanteringen av ett dilemma fodrar en god etisk medvetenhet. En etisk medvetenhet förutsätter ett ansenligt kunnande inom professionens yrkesetik.

I Sverige är investeringar i fonder en vanlig förekommande sparform. En typ av fonder är SRI-fonder (Socially Responsible Investment-fonder), som strävar efter att göra hållbara placeringar förutom att prestera goda finansiella resultat. Denna rapport ämnar besvara frågan gällande hur bra SRI-fonder i Sverige presterar rent ekonomiskt i jämförelse med konventionella fonder, samt vilka variabler fondernas prestation kan bero av. Att material inom området samlas in och behandlas är viktigt då SRI-fonders framtid skulle kunna leda till stora förändringar i både privatpersoners och företags förhållningsätt till hållbarhet. För att analysera prestationen hos SRI-fonder och konventionella fonder data samlats in för 71 SRI-fonder och 71 konventionella fonder på den svenska fondmarknaden för året 2012.

Fire has historically been of great ecological importance in the boreal forests of Sweden. The forest fire regime has, however, varied between different parts of the country. The objective of this thesis is therefore to investigate the fire history in Fulufjället National Park and, on this basis, give suggestions for future fire management. The reconstruction of fire history was done by cross-dating fire scars in samples taken from living and dead Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Local fire chronologies were established at 17 points in the forests in and around Fulufjället National Park by cross-dating fire scars on 54 samples. The oldest year-ring dated from year 968.

Textilindustrin står inför stora utmaningar när det kommer till forskning, utveckling ochproduktion på ett miljöanpassat och socialt ansvarsfullt sätt. Ökat miljömedvetetande hoskonsumenten har lett till ökat intresse och möjlighet för företaget att arbeta mot ett hållbartföretagande.Examensarbetet är skrivet som en del av kandidatexamen i textilingenjörsprogrammet föruppdragsföretaget BlåKläder AB och utfördes för att även kunna fungera som ett underlag förandra företag i avsikt med att påbörja/utveckla sitt arbete med socialt ansvarstagande.I arbetet presenteras miljöpåverkan av en arbetsbyxa i bomull från råväv till distribuering.Fyra miljöbelastande kategorier har tagits med i undersökningen, där mängden av kemikalie,vatten- och energiåtgång samt koldioxidutsläpp räknades ut per arbetsbyxa av minimumorder. Sammanställning av resultat visar att det används 2,5 kg kemikalier, 10,3 liter vatten,756 Wh energi och det släpps ut 0,4 kg kodoxid vid tillverkning av en arbetsbyxa.Rapporten behandlar och beskriver produktion av en rå bomullsväv medflamskyddsbehandling. Processflödet för hela behandlingsförloppet analyseras i arbetet därbåde kemikalier, energi- och vattenåtgång tas upp vid varje delprocess. Koldioxidutsläppanalyseras som en särskild del av rapporten och omfattar de direkta utsläppen av tung lastbiloch fraktfärja.

Fondmarknaden har vuxit stadigt under ett flertal år vilket har resulterat i att en allt större del av befolkningen placerar sitt sparande i fonder. Samtidigt som fondermarknaden har vuxit har även intresset för etiska och samhällsmässiga aspekter blivit allt mer utbrett. Detta har resulterat i nya sparandeformer där fondmarknaden har anammat investerares värderingar och skapat socialt ansvarsfulla investeringar (Socially Responsible Investment, SRI) fonder som inkluderar dessa i sina investeringsstrategier.Tidigare forskning angående den aktiva förvaltningen av fonder har försökt utröna vilka faktorer som påverkar förvaltarnas val av tillgångar. En av de starkast påverkande faktorer är flockbeteende där förvaltare tar investeringsbeslutet utifrån andra förvaltare istället för privat information. Detta har särskild betydelse för SRI-fonder då dess investerare inte enbart väljer fonder utifrån avkastning utan även till följd av individens värderingar.

The reason for this study is that grocery storesare very common and abundant in most neighborhoods, as is man?s necessaryconsumption of food. In almost every city grocery stores must compete hardagainst each other in order to succeed in offering the most appealing options toconsumers.

Peritonitis is a potentially life-threatening disease in horses. With no published work from Sweden, the objective of the study was to describe the occurrence and demographics of horses with peritonitis and to evaluate the outcome of treatment in terms of short-term survival during a ten-year period in a large clinic in Sweden. Data were examined in a retrospective manner in 69 horses diagnosed with and treated for peritonitis at Universitetsdjursjukhuset (UDS) in Uppsala between 2002-2012. Demographic data examined included age, breed, gender, history, duration of illness before arriving at UDS, reason for seeking veterinary care, initial clinical findings (general state of health, heart rate, respiratory rate, mucous membrane appearance, rectal temperature, abdominal sounds, rectal examination, nasogastric tube results), abdominocentesis results (abdominal fluid analysis including visual inspection, leukocytes and protein, cytology, bacterial culture and sensitivity pattern), complete blood count (CBC), Serum amyloid-A (SAA) upon presentation and a follow up, plasma fibrinogen, plasma protein and albumin, treatments, length of hospitalisation and outcome. All medical records with the diagnosis of peritonitis were extracted from the medical records system Trofast. All records with any other diagnosis code referring to trauma such as rectal tear or ruptured uterus, recent abdominal surgery, external trauma or rupture in the gastrointestinal tract were excluded. To be included in the study, the peritoneal fluid should contain more than 20.000 cells/?L, have a peritoneal protein value of >30 g/L; or have a significantly changed peritoneal fluid sample (orange with increased turbidity or worse) in cases where no data on cells or protein were available. The horses were divided into two groups; one where the peritonitis was deemed to have an idiopathic aetiology (primary peritonitis) and the other group where the peritonitis had a possible aetiology such as intestinal parasites, impaction etc.

Dessa skapar rädsla hos människor och det minskar benägenheten att resa. Det drabbar resebolagen då de på grund av detta förlorar kunder. Vi har haft frågeställningen: ?hur planerar och hanterar resebranschen risk och osäkerhet?.
