Syftet med den här studien syftar till att synliggöra möjliga samband mellan barns umgänge med djur och barnets lärande i ett sociokulturellt perspektiv. Genom litteraturstudier analyserades vilka faktorer som påverkar barns utveckling och lärande. Vidare genomfördes en enkätundersökning i 2 klasser i år 6, vilket visade enskilda elevers kontakt med djur. Detta jämfördes med bedömningar av varje elevs lärande, gjorda av en lärare i teoretiska ämnen och en lärare i sociala och motoriska ämnen. Resultaten diskuterades utifrån teorier om lärande, barns umgänge med djur samt barns behov att utvecklas psykologiskt, kognitivt och socialt.

Under de senaste årtiondena har värdering och redovisning av immateriella tillgångar blivit omdebatterade av redovisningspraktiker, standardsättare och akademiker. En av de debatterade immateriella tillgångarna är forskning och utveckling och den internationella standarden IAS 38 redogör för hur en sådan tillgång ska redovisas. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka huruvida redovisningsinformationens värderelevans påverkas av en balansföring av samtliga investeringar i forskning och utveckling. Studien utgår från en kvantitativ ansats och omfattar de svenska börsnoterade företag som redovisade investeringar i forskning och utveckling under räkenskapsåren 2001 till 2010. För att utreda syftet konstruerades en balansföringsmodell och därefter gjordes multipla regressionsanalyser på resultaten från den modellen.

Lately, alarming reports have appeared regarding the work environment and work situation of social workers. Research focusing on the promotion of health and well-being in the workplace among other professionals show that factors such as social relationships, ability to influence their work situation and leadership are important. A quantitative study was conducted focusing on the work climate for social workers employed by some of the district administrations in the City of Malmö. A questionnaire with questions and statements on various factors in the work environment was sent to 34 social workers. They were asked how important these factors were for their well-being, as well as to what extent they felt that these factors were present at work.

Syftet med studien är att analysera och diskutera förskollärares mening om vilka kunskaper och kompetenser barn bör ges möjlighet att utveckla för att bidra till en hållbar utveckling. Studien är genomförd med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer där sju pedagoger på tre olika förskolor i Norrbottens län deltog. Studien utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv då pedagogernas mening om kunskaper och kompetenser i relation till en hållbar utveckling diskuteras. Resultatet visar på olika kunskaper och kompetenser som pedagogerna menar att barnen bör ges möjlighet att utveckla för att bidra till en hållbar utveckling. Pedagogerna lyfter dessa på olika sätt vilket tyder på att de brinner för olika delar av perspektivet hållbar utveckling, delar som de tillsammans synliggör i relation till varandra..

To log on to social media has become an obvious part of people's everyday routine. Pictures, videos, opinions, and thoughts are posted and read by people's social networks worldwide. In doing so, the present study chose to examine whether what is posted on social media, as well as what the individuals are exposed to on social media can be related to their motivation and self-esteem. By letting 117 adolescents aged 16-19 answer a questionnaire regarding which social media they are active on, how often they are active there, and what they post on those social medias. By also letting them evaluate how they see themselves, if they compare themselves with others and how motivated they are to physical activity and healthy eating habits, we could see that to those who post pictures, and are exposed to images represent exercise / health on social media have higher self-esteem and driven more by internal motivation to engage physical activity than those who do not.

The aim of this thesis was to examine how a coordinator at a social welfare project in support of job seekers, achieve results in his efforts to reduce the number of clients with social assistance. The method of data collection was a mixture of open thematic interviews and semi- structured interviews with open questions. The coordinator was interviewed four times during the length of the project. In addition, two of his clients were interviewed. The data also includes a report from the relevant social services and other documents such as newspaper articles.

Social work has gone from being a primarily philanthropic issue to becoming an academic discipline at university level. To ensure its legitimacy social work must be founded on, and developed through scientific research and documented experience. The purpose of this essay is to review the various arguments on social work in order to evaluate their impact on education, which in turn affects students. In addition, it will demonstrate how different forms of knowledge are valued depending on the contexts. As a means of reaching this objective, the following questions are addressed: ?What are the requirements and recommendations on how the education of social work should be structured, and why are these requirements and recommendations important??, ?How has the education of social work been influenced by the perception of valuable knowledge?? and ?How does the education of social work affect students?? The collected material consists of various arguments concerning the development of social work and the education of social work's formation.

In this essay we have examined how social workers experience their positions as a public authority person in a society of democracy. As a public officer you have to follow rules and obey the law, which can be difficult if they don't agree with your personal opinion and values. In social work you work with people in a vulnerable situation and it may become extremely demanding to stand between the directions of established public administration and your own opinions. We have interviewed ten social workers working in social childcare division and analysed how they experience their situation at work. Our starting point is the critical theory of professor Lennart Lundquist about how democracy works in Swedish administrations.

Our study has its starting point in the Swedish social legislation (Socialtjänstlagen) and more specifically in the 6th chapter's 5th paragraph. That paragraph regulates that social workers should try to find a kinship care placement when they are about to do a placement of a child. Our purpose is to examine how social workers, before they do a placement of a child, understand the informal kinship that is not relatives, if they consider the informal kinship and if certain circumstances have an impact on the consideration. To get this information we have done five interviews with social workers. Recent studies show that social workers in past years have begun to think more positively of people's kinships and that they more often use the resources of the kinship.

Social media has changed the way that corporations can communicate with their target groups. In Sweden the idea of the social economy generates wide support within civil society as well as within the government and across party political boundaries. Furthermore, what is problematic in this context is the fact that the discussions on the subject tend to be relatively uncritical and often it seems as if though the expansion itself is the main objective. The emphasis on cooperation and the third sector in terms of welfare production implies a set of risks in relation to state responsibility, democracy and the autonomy of civil society. Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur lärare bedriver undervisning för en hållbar utveckling i de tidiga skolåren. Vi har valt att använda kvalitativa intervjuer för att få mer djupgående svar och för att kunna ställa följdfrågor. Frågeställningarna vi vill ha besvarade är: Vad lägger lärarna i begreppet hållbar utveckling? Hur bedriver lärare i de tidiga skolåren undervisning för hållbar utveckling samt hur påverkar lärarens egen attityd till ämnet undervisningen? Resultatet visar att lärarna har problem med att definiera begreppet hållbar utveckling och att lärande för hållbar utveckling är ett komplext perspektiv som innehåller mer än miljöaspekten. Många lärare väljer att arbeta praktiskt där eleverna ges möjligheter att se orsak/verkan av människors handlingar.

The main purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse how social worker on a specific Social Service Agency describe their experiences. My focus has been to concentrate on social worker, whose task is related to young people. The paper is presented from three different themes; work assignments, professional roles and projects in life. The central questions are; Which are the socialworker´s main tasks? How does the social worker see himself in his professional role? Have their expectations been fulfilled? Where do they get their motivation from? Which are the reasons why the job as social worker is so strenuous? I have interviewed four social workers (semi-structured interviews), and a qualitative method is used.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka samt belysa hur förskollärare arbetar med barns lärande och utveckling i leken samt förskollärares syn på lekens främjande av barns utveckling och lärande. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi under vårt arbete. Vi har intervjuat samt observerat fyra förskollärare under arbetets gång och vi valde att använda oss utav öppna observationer och semistrukturerade intervjuer för att samla in materialet till vårt arbete. Vårt resultat visar att leken är betydelsefull för barns utveckling och lärande samt att förskollärare anpassar sig efter barns intressen samt kunskapsnivå för att främja barns lärande och utveckling i leken. Resultatet visar även att barn ska få tid till att leka på förskolan och att förskollärare ska finnas tillgängliga för barn i deras lek.
