Med denna studie vill vi få pedagoger som arbetar i förskolans verksamhet att reflektera över vikten av krisplaner och deras innehåll när det gäller att hjälpa barn att bearbeta sorg. Följande frågor ligger till grund för vår undersökning: Hur kan man som pedagog i förskolans verksamhet hjälpa och underlätta barnets bearbetning av sorg? Har pedagogerna på förskolan tillgång till en krisplan om något barn skulle drabbas av sorg? Vilka erfarenheter av och tankar om arbete med barn i sorg har pedagoger inom förskolans verksamhet? Vårt resultat visar att i den kommun där vi gjorde vår undersökning har alla pedagogerna i förskolans verksamhet tillgång till en krisplan och en krislåda, för att underlätta arbetet med barn i sorg. Det visade sig också att de intervjuade pedagogerna har många olika tillvägagångssätt för att arbeta med och möta barn i sorg..

In the age group 16-25 years, the Internet is the most powerful source of information. This age group is also the main user of social media. The purpose of this study was to investigate young people's experience of social media and any associations between social media and adolescents health by answering the questions: ?how does young people use social media?, ?what risks can occur in young people's use of social media? and ?how can social media influence young people's lifestyles?. The survey was conducted by a quantitative cross-sectional study using questionnaires.

This thesis analyses the rise and fall of social movements. Social movementsfunctions in the civil society, by contentious collective action they form identities,mobilize their forces and use repertoires of contentions to make new or previouslyunaccepted claims. They function in a limited timeframe, sooner or later they getinstitutionalized, marginalised or succumb into violence. Uppsatsen syftar till att diskutera om Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aktiviteter kanpåverka medarbetarnas syn på organisationen som attraktiv arbetsgivare inom etiskt ifrågasattverksamhet. Som teoretisk referensram finns litteratur om CSR, legitimitet och hurorganisationers CSR aktiviteter kan påverka medarbetarna, medarbetarna som är en viktigintressent för organisationen. För att utföra studien har en kvantitativ metod valts då den erbjudermöjligheten att undersöka medarbetarnas inställning, åsikter och attityder i större omfattning.Resultatet av studien indikerar på att medarbetarna tycker att det är viktigt att arbetsgivarenbidrar till samhälls- och miljöinitiativ även i etisk ifrågasatt verksamhet för att uppfattas som enattraktiv arbetsgivare. Studien tyder på att medarbetarna lägger större vikt vid miljö ochjämställdhetsfrågor än andra samhällsinitiativ. Resultatet antyder även att kvinnor tyckerarbetsgivarens engagemang i samtliga CSR aktiviteter är av större vikt än män vid val avarbetsgivare..

Det övergripande syftet med denna studie är att utveckla kunskap och få en ökad förståelse av musikskolan El Sistemas verksamhet i Sverige med utgångspunkt i en av El Sistemaskolorna i Göteborg. Det har varit av vikt att utforska huruvida El Sistemas arbetssätt och metoder är någonting utöver vad som kan sägas vara ?vanlig? musikundervisning i musik- och kulturskola. Därför har det även varit väsentligt att sätta sig in i skolans bakomliggande idéer och förutsättningar. Studiens teoretiska ram är inspirerad av sociokulturell teori och genomförandet av etnografisk metod. Resultaten har dock främst framkommit genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra pedagoger och sex elever.

This study examines the connection between social capital and involvement within voluntary associations; involvement is defined either as being a member in an association or a member who has some kind of assignment in an association. The study also examines if there is a difference between two social economic groups regarding the attainment and transformation of social capital through being involved in a voluntary association.Social capital is defined as social trust and the willingness of collective action.The result of the research shows there is a slight connection between the involvement in voluntary associations and social capital. It shows that people who are members of a voluntary association often have higher social capital than those who are not members of any voluntary association at all. The study also shows that there is a difference in attainment of social capital between those who have some kind of assignment in a voluntary association and general members.When studying social capital and involvement in voluntary associations it is also of interest to take social class into the analysis, because the study shows that people with a lower education had increased social capital when they were members in an association compared to the members with a higher education..

The purpose of our study is to describe and understand whether, and if so, how social workers in school and in social services construct computer gaming adolescents as a social problem. We chose social workers who encounter adolescents with different problems. We have conducted qualitative interviews with vignettes to capture the social workers' reasoning about computer gaming adolescents and how they handle this in their work. The study shows that all social workers we interviewed had encountered adolescents with troubling computer gaming habits. In the study, all agree that computer gaming becomes a problem when it leads to deviant behaviour such as not going to school, staying up all night and so on.

The aim of this study is to examine social workers' and social work students' attitudes towards people living with hiv in Sweden. I will also examine if there is a connection between knowledge and attitudes. The questions at issue are how social workers' and social work students' attitudes can assume to influence on their professional practice and what causes can affect their attitudes towards people living with hiv. The study is based on a qualitative method. The methods have been: conversational interviews with five social workers, who work with family issues and integration, and a focused group interview with four social work students.

Several surveys indicate that corporate leaders still consider the aligning of IT and business functions as a top management issue. The aim of this thesis is to illustrate how coordination emerges between IT and business departments and how formal structures intended to coordinate are influenced by human action. To deepen the understanding of this phenomenon we seek to analyze IT/business coordination from a perspective based on practice theory. A field study was conducted where observations and informal interviews were carried out at the IT department of a global company. The empirical analysis indicate that coordination problems between IT and business departments is in part affected by embedded factors such as different goals and perspectives on how IT is to be used in the organization or how to design IT related processes.

The aim of this study was to understand the contact between foster homes and social workers, by doing a comparison of the social workers and the foster homes experiences of the cooperation that is between them. We started from three main questions to get an answer to our aim, how the foster homes and the social workers experience the organization of the foster care in the Social Service as an impact of the cooperation, what does the foster homes and the social workers experience as a important fact of a successful placement and finally, how does the foster homes and the social workers experience the supporting and controlling contact that is between them. To get our results we based our study on interviews whit four foster homes and whit four social workers. The analysis was based on one theoretical perspective, Skaus (2007) analytical approach for power and help. As a conclusion we have found out, that the organization of the Social Service has significance for the contact between social workers and foster homes.

The study aims to gain insight into how social workers perceive their psychosocial work environment and examine whether this effects the performance of their duties. The study mainly addresses the shortcomings of the psychosocial work environment of Social Services and the implications it entails for social workers health and wellbeing. The psychosocial work environment includes physical and psychological factors therefore the study's interpretive framework consists of organizational theoretical and social psychological concepts and previous research on the subject. We examined the organizational and social psychological connections to social workers perception of their work environment with a qualitative approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews with four social workers in a municipality in central Sweden using a semi-structured interview guide.

The purpose of doing this research except for educational reasons is to show significant effects that make motivational work successful. The choice of subject we decided out of experience from the term of practise. The description of the subject is from the social workers angle of approach. The method we used is a qualitative study with semi structured interviews. We have looked at three different fields of social work from the view of six social workers, two from each field.

Research about social support and social networks has mostly concerned the impact on a person?s wellbeing and health. However an aspect largely neglected is how social support within the social networks can affect the process of giving up a drug abuse. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to a better understanding of what role the social support within different relationships can have on the process of giving up drug abuse. Furthermore the aim is to examine how a self-help group can provide social support in the transitional period after leaving a drug abuse.

Bakgrunden till uppsatsen är att några fackliga sektioner har valt att gå samman i färre enheter. Projektledningen, som kommer från den fackliga avdelningen, organiserar ett utvecklingsprojekt där de förtroendevalda under ett halvårs tid träffas regelbundet. De förtroendevalda planerar och utformar den nya sektionsverksamheten. Men något händer när sektioner går samman och det är intressant att studera hur de förtroendevalda hanterar förändringsprocessen. Syftet är att utöka kunskapen om vad som händer ur ett lärande- och utvecklingsperspektiv vid organisationsförändring.
