The purpose of this essay was to study social workers´ and polices contributions with criminal youth gangs and get an insight in how co-operation in the contributions between these governments comes to rank and works.To find out, we carried out a study with a qualitative design based on document studies and interviews with social workers´ and polices who were meeting youths in their work.Our findings were that it's hard to define a criminal youth gang. The social workers´ and polices have both individual and common contributions with criminal youth gangs. One of their most important lining is to prevent new recruitment of young people to criminality. The social workers´ and polices both have an intention to cooperate but they can?t agree about the method of work they shall use, ?the kid-glove or the whip?..

The phenomenon of social gaming is essentially an IT-service that people worldwideuses on a daily basis. This particular market is also young and generates tremendousamounts of data, which, from a data managing perspective, makes it naturallyinteresting. Throughout this thesis the social gaming market is described from the datamanaging and different actors perspectives. Metod : Jag har valt att utföra en kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer.Undersökningen är hermeneutisk då jag undersöker chefernas upplevelser av arbetsmiljön.

Från litteraturen påverkar införandet av Web Services hos 25 storföretag och 3 myndigheter i Sverige. Undersökningen utfördes genom en enkät där motivations- och problemfaktorerna indelades i tre kategorier: innovation, organisation och miljö/omgivning och dessa graderades sedan på en femgradig skala. Den viktigaste kategorin enligt respondenterna var organisation. Dessutom lämnades möjlighet till att lämna egna faktorer och kommentarer. Inom kategorin innovation graderade respondenterna som högsta motivationsfaktorn att Web Services fungerar bra ihop med kommande standarder och som näst viktigast faktorn fördelar med plattformsoberoende.

The aim and purpose of this paper is to identify and investigate the effects of affirmative action as a tool to improve the equality of the sexes in a male dominated organisation such as the Swedish armed forces. The study takes a qualitative approach, using feminist theory as a point of departure. Primarily socially based differences between men and women are identified and the resistance towards change is taken into account.To understand the impact of affirmative action I have observed the political debate on the subject and contrasted it to the ongoing debate from within the armed forces. Extensive interviews have been held with both men and women from varying ranks and ages to understand what the overall opinion of the method is.My results show that there is a widespread animosity towards affirmative action as a method of improving equality. Both in the political debate and within the organisation in question.

Tes: Homogenisering är en uteslutningsmekanism som försvårar invandrarnas möjligheter att nå chefspositionerna i arbetslivet.Syfte: Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att öka förståelsen kring och skapa en medvetenhet om homogenisering som fenomen. Vi anser att man genom att skapa en medvetenhet och väcka tankar kring homogenisering som process ökar chanserna att motverka homogenisering.Metod: Vi valde att arbeta med Malmö kommun då de som organisation har ett befolkningsansvar som innehåller ett krav att påverka befolkningen i mångkulturell riktning genom olika insatser i exempelvis skola och föreningsliv, på arbetsmarknaden i sin egen organisation och i sin egen service till medarbetarna. I val av informanter utgick vi från att homogenisering på chefsnivåer bäst kunde undersökas genom personliga intervjuer med chefer i de kommunala verksamheterna. Detta för att ta reda på hur chefer ser på mångfald, rekrytering, samt ta del av deras tankar och funderingar kring varför ledningsstrukturen ser ut som den gör och vad man eventuellt kan göra för att ändra på den.Slutsatser: Vi kunde konstatera att homogenisering är ett faktum på chefsnivåer hos de undersökta verksamheterna, detta trots omfattande mångfaldsinsatser inom kommunen. I vår undersökning kunde vi hitta visa möjligheter för att åtgärda homogenisering.

Ambitionen med denna uppsats är att kunna ge ett bidrag i kampen för ökad delaktighet i samhället för personer med funktionsnedsättningar. Forskning visar att det är viktigt att personer med psykiska funktionshinder syns ute i arbetslivet för att motverka stigmatiserande effekter. Det visar sig dock att personer med psykiska funktionshinder idag är den grupp som har det svårast att ta sig in på arbetsmarknaden. Syfte är således att öka förståelsen för funktionshindrades situation på arbetsmarknaden. Studien är av kvalitativ art och har genomförts med stöd av intervjuer vilka senare har tolkats utifrån ett intersektionellt perspektiv samt med stöd av teori kring rationalisering (Weber) och teori om social kategorisering (Tideman).Resultatet ger en bild av hur arbetsmarknaden idag genomsyras av rationalisering, effektivisering, flexibilitet och vinststrävan.

The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

Aim: To investigate the quality of life and the social life situation, with special focus on the consequenses of fear of hypoglycemia (FoH), in Islet transplanted patients.Method: 11 patients were included, four women and seven men, who have been Islet tranplanted at Uppsala University Hospital during the years 2001-2009. Two questionaires, Short Form 36 (SF-36) and the Swedish version Hypoglycemia Fear Survey (Swe-HFS) were used to investigate the quality of life, in relation to fear of hypoglycemia. Also, telephone interviews were conducted to investigate the patients social life situation in relation to FoH, after Islet transplantation and were analysed using content analysis method.Results: The mean value for quality of life was lower than that in the normal population. Three out of ten patients experienced FoH. Three predominant themes were revealed, one theme associated with pre- transplant, was ?Struggle for control of Social Life Situation? and two themes associated with post-transplant, were ?Regain power and controll of  Social Life Situation? and ?At Peace with the balance between the Present and the Future?.Conclusion: The patients experienced improved control over social life situation and quality of life in relation to FoH may been improved following islet tranplantation..

Studie- och yrkesvägledning ska bidra till att ge eleverna användbara kunskaper och färdigheter i form av praktiska arbetslivserfarenheter, studiebesök eller utbildningsinformation. Möten med studie- och yrkesvägledare ska bidra till att öka möjligheten för elever att fatta väl övervägda studie- och yrkesval. Uppsatsen syftar till att få en fördjupad kunskap om arbetet med studie- och yrkesvägledning. Fokus ligger på hur studie- och yrkesvägledare upplever organisation, ledarskap och kommunikation på skolorna.. Empirin är grundad på sammanlagt nio intervjuer med rektorer och studie- och yrkesvägledare som arbetar på fem olika skolor i fyra olika kommuner i Norrbotten.Resultatet påvisar att det fortfarande finns mycket att utveckla i arbetet med studie- och yrkesvägledning inte minst när det gäller samarbetsformer, kommunikation och ledarskap.
