The focus of this research is to investigate how the client's emotions can affect the social worker and how the social worker manages these feelings in order to make the right decisions. We have used a qualitative approach in our investigation. We have interviewed six social workers at social welfare bureaux in southern Sweden. Our theories are ?Nai?ve Theory? and ?Affect Theory?.

Jag har genomfört en kvalitativ studie om elevens upplevelser och habitus i relation till att bli tilldelad ett åtgärdsprogram i år 9. Syftet är att ta reda på hur eleven och dess omgivning upplever det när eleven får ett åtgärdsprogram och vilka förväntningar både eleven och föräldrarna har. Genom öppna intervjuer har jag samlat in data från sex elever i en skola i Mellansverige. Min studie stöder sig mot Bourdieus teori om att individers värderingar och beteenden formas av sin närmaste omgivning. Resultatet visar att eleverna överlag blir motiverade att ta tag i sina studier för att nå ett godkänt betyg, förutsatt att de inte sedan tidigare har ett flertal åtgärdsprogram.

Sociala konstruktivister menar att lärandet består av sociala interaktiva processer mellan eleven och dess omgivning (Palinscar, 1998). Det betyder att lärarna har en viktig och unik roll i klassrummet eftersom de medvetet eller omedvetet skapar förutsättningarna för de sociala interaktionerna i lärandemiljön ? mellan läraren och eleverna men även den sociala interaktionen eleverna sinsemellan (Todorovich, 2009). Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur skapandet av ett bra socialt klimat i klassrummet tar sig form i dagens skolor. Med hänsyn till studiens syfte valdes att göra en empirisk, kvalitativ studie med ett fenomenologiskt synsätt. Sex lärare inom idrott och hälsa i grundskolans senare skolår och gymnasieskola intervjuades om deras upplevelser av sociala interaktioner i skolan.

The purpose of this study was to examine how social work professionals view their professional role and how they think about the concept of social work. I also wanted to investigate what they believe characterize a professional social work. For the purposes of this study, I chose a qualitative approach in which I interviewed five people linked to the social work. The theories which I have assumed in the analysis of the results are power theory, organization theory and professional theory. The results of this study show that the respondents believe that a professional social work is performed by someone who has training and experience in the field.

I uppsatsen undersöks hur ett arbetslag i skolan kommunicerar med sin direkta omgivning. Vidare ges genom en fallstudie exempel på var denna kommunikation kan brista och vad bristerna kan tänkas bero på. Slutligen väcks tankar kring hur denna kommunikation kan organiseras för att fungera väl. Undersökningen grundas till att börja med på en referensram av teoristudier inom tre huvudområden, där de viktigaste begreppen definieras och utreds. I referensramens första del definieras ett arbetslag som ett personallag med ca 5-8 lärare som leder en arbetsenhet bestående av ca 75-100 elever.

Min uppsats handlar om längtan och syftet är att visa att och hur längtan spelar en roll i våra liv. Jag försöker i uppsatsen att göra längtan konkret genom att visa hur längtan finns och deltar i vår vardag. Detta gör jag med hjälp av litteratur, två djupintervjuer och texter skrivna av 13 åttondeklassare.Jag försöker inte ge några svar i min uppsats utan mer skapa en diskussion och ge läsaren något att tänka vidare på. Kanske längtans olika former och betydelse och hur något så naturligt men svårt att definiera tar plats i oss. Jag kommer att ta upp hur vi formar vår längtan bland annat beroende på vår ålder och livssituation, men också vad längtan gör med oss och vilka influenser vi får från vår omgivning..

The purpose of this study was to enlighten the views of male social work students on; the social work profession, social work status and their career options. Also, the study aimed at getting these students angles of approach on the fact that they, being men, are a minority group within the profession of social work. Some of the main questions were: Why does not social work as a profession seem to attract men? What about the status of the profession of social work? What were the thoughts of male social work students about this? What advantages or disadvantages did they recognise, being a minority in the profession? The method used in this study was doing separate interviews. All of the interviewed students were convinced that they had a better chance of getting a job.

In Sweden the social assistance from a historical perspective, has been a part of the social legislation, since the 18th century. In that time called poor relief. Through the centuries this has established the social assistance we have today. With focus on the child, we have attempted to illustrate how the social workers consider the child perspective when they are dealing with the social assistance. We wanted to get a view of how the social worker reasons about needs the children have and how they can see that the benefit has been provided for.

The aim of this study was to enlighten social workers experiences of social networks direct influence in Swedish social services, and in which ways those influences are manifested. Some of the issues that are being explored in this study are: The separation of the private sphere and professional duties; boundaries and dual relationships that occurs inside social networks; the use of social networks as a control-instrument in authority exercise towards clients; and social networks arising impact on social work. The empirical material was collected with nine qualitative interviews with social workers stationed at different social service departments in a Swedish municipality. Also one qualitative e-survey was sent out to, and answered by four social workers with a managerial position in the same municipality.The results reveal that several informants have experienced different problematic situations involving clients within the social networks. This study shows that the informants are very restrictive with what information (text and pictures) they publish on their facebook-profiles, because of their position of authority and the awareness of the possibility of always being watched.

To this date, mostly B2C companies have been successful in their social media strategies. This qualitative thesis aims to investigate how B2B companies can benefit from using social media as a means to communicate and build relations with their customers. The medtech industry has been chosen as the object of study.Through depth interviews with people in the medtech industry and social media experts, data has been collected in order to answer the questions of (1) how ready customers in the medtech industry are to receive information through social media and (2) how companies can build the best possible social media strategy.

Undersökningens syfte var att granska vilket innehåll samhällskunskapslärare i grundskolans senare år tillskrev hållbar utveckling. Arbetets utgångspunkt var en kvalitativ fallstudie. Där-med utfördes kvalitativa intervjuer av fem utbildade och verksamma samhällskunskapslärare inom grundskolans senare år. Intervjuer som sedan analyserades med hjälp av intentionell analys. Undersökningen visade ett resultat av tre genomgripande och centrala teman i förhål-lande till undersökningens syfte.

This study examines the opinions of social workers regarding the social networks of people with a substance addiction. The intention was to get a more nuanced understanding of what characterizes a positive or negative social network, as well as which functions different types of social networks serve. Data were collected through qualitative interviews with seven social workers. More specifically the social workers were oriented towards working for social services with clients that struggle with substance abuse. The empirical material has been analyzed with a thematic analysis.
