The phenomenon of social gaming is essentially an IT-service that people worldwideuses on a daily basis. This particular market is also young and generates tremendousamounts of data, which, from a data managing perspective, makes it naturallyinteresting. Throughout this thesis the social gaming market is described from the datamanaging and different actors perspectives. This is done by using literature reviewing,interviews with companies and analysis based on that information. The thesis initiallypresents important and central terms as well as different techniques.

Syftet med arbetet Àr att genom litteraturstudier och en empirisk undersökning fÄ en inblick i hur lÀrare undervisar i so idag. Eftersom syftet delvis Àr att ta reda pÄ hur man arbetar med so i skolan idag ansÄg vi det nödvÀndigt att göra en empirisk studie.

Despitethis fact there is no research available regarding the influence social support hason health and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in Sweden.Aim: To describe social support and the consequence of social support forhealth and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Method:A litterature review of research in a defined area with a descriptive design.Systematic searches for articles were done in several databases and ultimately16 articles were chosen. Themes and categories were created with respect to theaim of this study during the analysis of the articles.

The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

Aim: To investigate the quality of life and the social life situation, with special focus on the consequenses of fear of hypoglycemia (FoH), in Islet transplanted patients.Method: 11 patients were included, four women and seven men, who have been Islet tranplanted at Uppsala University Hospital during the years 2001-2009. Two questionaires, Short Form 36 (SF-36) and the Swedish version Hypoglycemia Fear Survey (Swe-HFS) were used to investigate the quality of life, in relation to fear of hypoglycemia. Also, telephone interviews were conducted to investigate the patients social life situation in relation to FoH, after Islet transplantation and were analysed using content analysis method.Results: The mean value for quality of life was lower than that in the normal population. Three out of ten patients experienced FoH. Three predominant themes were revealed, one theme associated with pre- transplant, was ?Struggle for control of Social Life Situation? and two themes associated with post-transplant, were ?Regain power and controll of  Social Life Situation? and ?At Peace with the balance between the Present and the Future?.Conclusion: The patients experienced improved control over social life situation and quality of life in relation to FoH may been improved following islet tranplantation..

In East Africa live two species of Griffon Vultures; RĂŒppel?s Griffon Vulture (Gyps rueppellii) and African White-backed Griffon Vulture (G. africanus). I den ena betingelsen fick deltagarna l?sa elva sidor ur broschyren Om krisen eller kriget kommer, utgiven av Myndigheten f?r samh?llsskydd och beredskap (MSB). I den andra betingelsen fick en annan grupp deltagare ta del av ett audiovisuellt format av samma elva sidor.

Alkoholberoende och missbruk Àr ett omfattande problem i sÄvÀl Sverige som i övriga delar av vÀrlden. Med tanke pÄ de fysiska, psykiska och sociala konsekvenser som missbruket leder till för bÄde missbrukaren, och mÀnniskor i hans eller hennes omgivning, finns det all anledning att undersöka möjligheter för att ÄtgÀrda detta. Syftet med detta examensarbete Àr att kartlÀgga olika behandlingsmetoder och att med psykologiska teorier om mÀnskligt beteende som utgÄngspunkt komma fram till den behandling en alkoholberoende individ behöver. Resultaten visar pÄ att sÄvÀl personlighetsfaktorer som det sociala sammanhang individen befinner sig i har betydelse för om han eller hon missbrukar alkohol eller inte. Den sociala miljön bidrar till stor del till en alkoholberoende individs identitet och beteende.

Tillhörighet och att fÄ vara en del av ett socialt sammanhang Àr nödvÀndigt för oss mÀnniskor. Social exkludering utgör ett hot mot individens vÀlbefinnande och har visats pÄverka individens beteende och Äsikter. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om mÀnniskor Àr mer intoleranta mot personer de inte kÀnner tillhörighet med, om social exkludering leder till en Ànnu mer intolerant hÄllning samt om individens behov av tillhörighet pÄverkar hur de mÄr vid social exkludering. I studien deltog 26 studenter varav hÀlften blev exkluderade under ett datorspel. Deltagarna svarade pÄ enkÀter om hur de mÄdde, ÄsiktsfrÄgor och deras behov av tillhörighet.

AbstractThe struggle for land has been an issue ever since Brazil was colonized by the Portuguese Crown. The deep social inequalities that the country faces were raised then. More than 45% of the agricultural land is controlled by only 1% of the landowners. There have been many movements since then, who has fought for agrarian reforms.MST, the largest social movement in Brazil, was born in the 1980s. They managed to mobilize the peasants and the poor people.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate which factors are important with foster home placing, to achieve a positive result for the child. The questions that we have focused on is the importance of the child's earlier experiences and relations, the foster homes attitude and approach, the social service organization and the cooperation between these concerned parties. We have also looked at the importance that the relation between the biological family, the child and the foster home can have. This study has been carried out using qualitative interviews with several foster homes, social welfare secretaries and a researcher in the area. We have also chosen to separate the foster homes on the basis of two foster homes only accepting teenagers while other accepting younger children.The theoretical concepts we have chosen to use are connected to attachment theory and the ecology of human development point of view.
