Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur deltagare upplever en föräldragrupps innehåll och utförande på ett familjecentrum. Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats, där åtta föräldrar intervjuades. Datamaterial bearbetades och analyserades med hjälp av en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys, och studiens teoretiska tolkningsram utgjordes av ett systemteoretiskt perspektiv, Putnams och Bourdieus teori om socialt kapital samt Eriksons psykosociala utvecklingsteori. Betydelsefulla resultat var att föräldragruppen upplevdes som viktig, framför allt för att etablera nya sociala kontakter, uppleva trygghet och stöd från andra nyblivna föräldrar. Det var även viktigt med en ledare med Social kompetens, där lyhördhet och flexibilitet var några betydelsefulla egenskaper.

Luleå kommuns organisation genomgår sedan år 2010 en omfattande generationsväxling som ställer höga krav på kommunens rekryteringsarbete. Kommunens arbete med att tillgodose den egna organisationens behov av kompetent personal är av ett stort värde för stadens möjligheter att utvecklas och fungera i enlighet med den kommunala visionen Luleå 2050. Syftet med denna studie är därför att skapa en översiktlig bild av Luleå kommuns behov av kompetens. Den ska även beskriva vilken kompetens som kommunens tre största förvaltningar efterfrågar under de kommande fem åren. Därefter ska förslag kunna ges till hur behovet skall kunna tillgodoses.Studien har i huvudsak genomförts med hjälp av intervjuer och djupgående litteraturstudier som sedan kompletterats med och sekundär statistik.Analysen baseras på de tre idealtyper som växer fram under studien.

This study examines the connection between social capital and involvement within voluntary associations; involvement is defined either as being a member in an association or a member who has some kind of assignment in an association. The study also examines if there is a difference between two social economic groups regarding the attainment and transformation of social capital through being involved in a voluntary association.Social capital is defined as social trust and the willingness of collective action.The result of the research shows there is a slight connection between the involvement in voluntary associations and social capital. It shows that people who are members of a voluntary association often have higher social capital than those who are not members of any voluntary association at all. The study also shows that there is a difference in attainment of social capital between those who have some kind of assignment in a voluntary association and general members.When studying social capital and involvement in voluntary associations it is also of interest to take social class into the analysis, because the study shows that people with a lower education had increased social capital when they were members in an association compared to the members with a higher education..

The purpose of our study is to describe and understand whether, and if so, how social workers in school and in social services construct computer gaming adolescents as a social problem. We chose social workers who encounter adolescents with different problems. We have conducted qualitative interviews with vignettes to capture the social workers' reasoning about computer gaming adolescents and how they handle this in their work. The study shows that all social workers we interviewed had encountered adolescents with troubling computer gaming habits. In the study, all agree that computer gaming becomes a problem when it leads to deviant behaviour such as not going to school, staying up all night and so on.

IntroduktionSveriges befolkning blir allt äldre och många bor kvar i sitt hem med hjälp av kommunal hemtjänst. Flera är svårt sjuka och konsumerar mycket läkemedel. Sjuksköterskan ansvarar för ett stort antal vårdtagare och delegerar läkemedelshantering till undersköterskan. Det finns få kvalitativa studier om hur undersköterskan själv upplever läkemedelshantering i hemmen, inom kommunal hemtjänst.SyfteStudiens syfte är att beskriva undersköterskors erfarenheter och deras kompetens av läkemedelshantering med en personlig delegering inom kommunal hemtjänst.MetodTvå undersköterskor med minst femårs erfarenhet av personlig läkemedelsdelegering inom kommunal hemtjänst intervjuades. Intervjuerna analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The aim of this study is to examine social workers' and social work students' attitudes towards people living with hiv in Sweden. I will also examine if there is a connection between knowledge and attitudes. The questions at issue are how social workers' and social work students' attitudes can assume to influence on their professional practice and what causes can affect their attitudes towards people living with hiv. The study is based on a qualitative method. The methods have been: conversational interviews with five social workers, who work with family issues and integration, and a focused group interview with four social work students.

Uppsatsen undersöker behandlingsmöjligheter inom vuxenpsykiatrin för personer med sexuella avvikelser utifrån att denna grupp antas vara i hög grad stigmatiserade och därför drabbas av strukturell diskriminering. Detta skulle i så fall innebära att denna patientgrupp inte prioriteras vid fördelningen av resurser inom hälso- och sjukvården.Undersökningen har genomförts i form av en kartläggning av vuxenpsykiatriska verksamheter, där 58 verksamhetschefer tillhandahållit information gällande resurser att behandla patienter med sexuella avvikelser. Undersökningsdesignen syftade till att täcka in samtliga vuxenpsykiatriska mottagningar i Sverige.Resultatet visar att ungefär hälften av verksamheterna har erfarenhet och/eller kompetens av att behandla patientgruppen. Det stora flertalet verksamheter (72 procent) saknar personal med kompetens inom klinisk sexologi. Endast åtta verksamheter bedömdes erbjuda behandling av hög kvalitet utifrån att de både hade erfarenhet och självskattad kompetens samt personal med kompetens klinisk sexologi.

The aim of this study was to understand the contact between foster homes and social workers, by doing a comparison of the social workers and the foster homes experiences of the cooperation that is between them. We started from three main questions to get an answer to our aim, how the foster homes and the social workers experience the organization of the foster care in the Social Service as an impact of the cooperation, what does the foster homes and the social workers experience as a important fact of a successful placement and finally, how does the foster homes and the social workers experience the supporting and controlling contact that is between them. To get our results we based our study on interviews whit four foster homes and whit four social workers. The analysis was based on one theoretical perspective, Skaus (2007) analytical approach for power and help. As a conclusion we have found out, that the organization of the Social Service has significance for the contact between social workers and foster homes.

The study aims to gain insight into how social workers perceive their psychosocial work environment and examine whether this effects the performance of their duties. The study mainly addresses the shortcomings of the psychosocial work environment of Social Services and the implications it entails for social workers health and wellbeing. The psychosocial work environment includes physical and psychological factors therefore the study's interpretive framework consists of organizational theoretical and social psychological concepts and previous research on the subject. We examined the organizational and social psychological connections to social workers perception of their work environment with a qualitative approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews with four social workers in a municipality in central Sweden using a semi-structured interview guide.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the identity, competences and professional development of corporate librarians. I have done an empirical study based on semi structured interviews with 11 information professionals who were working at Astra Zeneca at the time of the re-organizations of the company in 2009 which ultimately led to the closing of the libraries. I have also examined the views on competences and professional development of librarians in general, both in Sweden and in Denmark. I have used Thomas Brante?s theories on profession types as well as Anders Ørom?s theories on librarian identities as my theoretical framework.

Under studie- och yrkesvägledarutbildningen har jag fått en uppfattning av att studie- och yrkesvägledaryrket följer sin tradition att huvudsakligen bedrivas inom det svenska utbildningsväsendet. Samtidigt har jag inställningen att studie- och yrkesvägledares kunskaper om yrken och studier och dess kompetens inom samtalsteknik, kan användas även inom andra yrkesområden som till exempel bemanning. Intresset för hur denna kompetens skulle kunna nyttjas i en bransch som bemanningsbranschen har lett fram till detta examensarbete. Examensarbetet syftar till att ta reda på vad personalansvariga på bemanningsföretag tänker kring att ha studie- och yrkesvägledares kompetens på sina kontor, om de kan se ett behov av denna kompetens och om de anser att studie- och yrkesvägledare har kompetens för att arbeta i bemanningsbranschen. Metoden består av personliga intervjuer och en enkätundersökning.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka om anställdas arbetsmotivation var beroende av hur många timmar de reste i tjänsten under en vanlig arbetsvecka. Studien genomfördes med hjälp av två grupper anställda inom det statliga bolaget Vattenfall. Mätinstrumentet som användes i studien var Basic Need Satisfaction at work scale som mäter arbetsmotivation i tre grundläggande faktorer; autonomi, kompetens och samhörighet. Totalt deltog 123 respondenter i undersökningen. Resultatet visade att det i kompetens och samhörighet förekom signifikanta skillnader mellan de två grupperna, där de som reser mycket skattade upplevelsen av kompetens och samhörighet högre än i gruppen som reser lite.

The purpose of doing this research except for educational reasons is to show significant effects that make motivational work successful. The choice of subject we decided out of experience from the term of practise. The description of the subject is from the social workers angle of approach. The method we used is a qualitative study with semi structured interviews. We have looked at three different fields of social work from the view of six social workers, two from each field.

Research about social support and social networks has mostly concerned the impact on a person?s wellbeing and health. However an aspect largely neglected is how social support within the social networks can affect the process of giving up a drug abuse. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to a better understanding of what role the social support within different relationships can have on the process of giving up drug abuse. Furthermore the aim is to examine how a self-help group can provide social support in the transitional period after leaving a drug abuse.
