The aim of this study was to understand the contact between foster homes and social workers, by doing a comparison of the social workers and the foster homes experiences of the cooperation that is between them. We started from three main questions to get an answer to our aim, how the foster homes and the social workers experience the organization of the foster care in the Social Service as an impact of the cooperation, what does the foster homes and the social workers experience as a important fact of a successful placement and finally, how does the foster homes and the social workers experience the supporting and controlling contact that is between them. To get our results we based our study on interviews whit four foster homes and whit four social workers. The analysis was based on one theoretical perspective, Skaus (2007) analytical approach for power and help. As a conclusion we have found out, that the organization of the Social Service has significance for the contact between social workers and foster homes.

The study aims to gain insight into how social workers perceive their psychosocial work environment and examine whether this effects the performance of their duties. The study mainly addresses the shortcomings of the psychosocial work environment of Social Services and the implications it entails for social workers health and wellbeing. The psychosocial work environment includes physical and psychological factors therefore the study's interpretive framework consists of organizational theoretical and social psychological concepts and previous research on the subject. We examined the organizational and social psychological connections to social workers perception of their work environment with a qualitative approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews with four social workers in a municipality in central Sweden using a semi-structured interview guide.

Viewer interaction is a common part of live broadcasts on the web and enables production and viewer to communicate with each other. The possibilities in viewer interaction make it easier for productions to create viewer engagement by involving them in the live broadcast through chats and social media. In creating a bond between production and viewer the interaction must be carefully managed to suit both the shows and the viewer?s needs.  A qualitative study has been used to analyze the viewer interaction in two Swedish live broadcasts on the web.

The purpose of doing this research except for educational reasons is to show significant effects that make motivational work successful. The choice of subject we decided out of experience from the term of practise. The description of the subject is from the social workers angle of approach. The method we used is a qualitative study with semi structured interviews. We have looked at three different fields of social work from the view of six social workers, two from each field.

Under de senaste åren har levnadsåldern ökat i Sverige och medellivslängden antas öka ännu mer. Antalet människor med demenssjukdom kommer att öka och fler patienter med demens kommer att vårdas inom akutsjukvården framöver. Stora krav kommer ställas på vårdpersonalen för att tillgodose denna patientgrupps vårdbehov. Kunskap som vi menar inte finns idag. Ungefär 140 000 personer i Sverige har någon form av demenssjukdom och risken att drabbas ökar med åldern.

There are no guidelines regarding how companies should design status updates on Facebook which attain good readability and engage the readers. Half the Swedish population are Facebook-users, but companies have yet to publish comprehensible messages on Facebook which effectively include the recipients. Inclusion is not just a matter of accessibility, but also of readability.Therefore, I studied how status updates should be designed on Facebook in order to increase the readability and to engage the readers. My target group is 22-32 year olds, since the company I worked with wanted to target this group. I conducted my research through literature studies, interviews with the client, analysis of past status updates, questioned an expert in social media, and organized a group interview with the target group.My research shows that status updates should contain information that is topical, informative and relevant to the target group.

Research about social support and social networks has mostly concerned the impact on a person?s wellbeing and health. However an aspect largely neglected is how social support within the social networks can affect the process of giving up a drug abuse. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to a better understanding of what role the social support within different relationships can have on the process of giving up drug abuse. Furthermore the aim is to examine how a self-help group can provide social support in the transitional period after leaving a drug abuse.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur anställningsintervjun, i egenskap av socialinteraktion, kan tolkas ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv. Slutsatsen indikerar att både anställningsintervjuns syfte som rekryteringverktyg, i egenskapav Social interaktion, och rekryterare och ledare som arbetar med densamma kan gagnas av ett merrelationellt perspektiv..

This is a qualitative study of how some journalists on the Swedish national media are using social media in news work. The study, carried out by using interviews, also covers how these journalists' work is influenced by social media. For the journalists in the study social media has become a tool to do research, get news ideas and find interviewees. At the same time social media affects the work of the journalists, as the social media increases the speed of news and flow of information. Studien behandlar projektledares uppfattningar av lärande i projektarbete. Valet av yrkesgrupp projektledare, beror på att projektledare ofta tilldelas nya projekt vilka de snabbt är tvungna att sätta sig in i. För att ett projekt ska fungera och lärande ska uppstå är det ett måste att alla deltagare har goda relationer och ett bra samspel. Syftet med studien är att nå en ökad förståelse av projektledares uppfattningar av lärande inom projektarbete. Fenomenografiska ansatsen valdes då variation är viktigt för att fånga så olika uppfattningar som möjligt.

The purpose of this study was to examine social workers apprehensions about institutional placement of youths and what determines when these proceedings are used. When research not always shows that institutional placements lead to positive changes for youngsters, we wondered how social workers act on their assessment to institutional placement. We wanted to find out if the social workers meet any dilemmas along the way. To find out about that we used qualitative interviews with ten social workers, who worked in social service and came from different places in the southern parts of Sweden. To analyze our material we used the theory of human service organization and street-level bureaucrats work situation.

This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. My aim is to provide knowledge about ways of understanding Intranet as a communication artifact. Today organizations plan to update their technology so as to make the communicative functions of Web 2.0 come true. With this objective in mind organizations will be prepared to meet social demands among staff. After interviewing intranet managers I have compiled qualitative data in categories. My approach is influenced by a phenomenographic approach.

Syfte: Studiens syfte är att beskriva vilka pedagogiska strategier några lärare i träningsskolan använder i språk- läs- och skrivundervisning. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i följande frågeställningar:? Hur används alternativa kommunikationssätt i undervisningen?? Hur och när framträder interaktion i undervisningen?? Hur motiveras eleverna i skolarbetet kring språk- läs- och skrivundervisningen?Teori: Studiens teoretiska ramverk är hämtat från det sociokulturella perspektivet på lärande. Inom det sociokulturella perspektivet ses lärande ses som något som sker interaktivt, i samspel med andra.
