The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate whether employed social workers, working with supplementary benefits at a social service office, felt stressed. If so was the case, we wanted to investigate if this stress that they felt had any effect on their clients. This study was based on eight qualitative interviews, of which four was with social workers and four was with clients. For a better understanding of our results we used Karasek & Theorells demand-control-support model.The study reveals that the social workers do feel stressed, but they only do so in periods. They declare that they would like to have more time for their work assignments, the meetings with the clients in particulate.

Social games have become a digital phenomenon over the last few years, affecting a lot of peoples everyday life. This paper focuses on how social games can affect workplace relationships. Through qualitative interviews I investigate how people who play with their colleagues experience the social games and their influence on the social interaction in the workplace. 10 interviews were carried out with people from four different organizations. The findings from these interviews were then put in relation to previous research and existing theories concerning workplace relationships and social games.

This research outlines studies about the relationship between social integration process of Japanese immigrants in Sweden and how social media assists in this process. The purpose of this research includes: To find out the reasons of migration to Sweden for six Japanese immigrants, any difficulties that they faced at the beginning of their immigration process and/or any positive qualities that they found in living in Sweden, whether they have accessed social media since they have moved in, if they do so, how the social media has been used and also, whether the social media has had a role to play in contributing to help their social integration process. In addition, it has been considered whether the participants have plans to return to Japan. In Sweden, there is relatively small Japanese migrant population. This social science research paper is the first in Sweden which explores the immigration process of Japanese migrants into Sweden.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur pedagoger arbetar språkutvecklande med nyanlända ele-ver, samt att uppmärksamma hur skolledning och pedagoger arbetar för att dessa elever ska känna gemenskap med den övriga skolan. Studiens frågeställningar är: Hur arbetar pedago-gerna språkutvecklande med nyanlända elever, vilka metoder och material används? Vilka insatser görs av pedagogerna och skolledningen för att integrera nyanlända elever i den svenska skolan? För att besvara studiens frågeställningar har vi analyserat den insamlade em-pirin med utgångspunkt i tidigare relevant forskning. Tidigare forskning tyder bl.a. på trygg-het, modersmål och sociala faktorers betydelse för språkinlärningen.

De eventuella orsakssambanden bakom en ofta observerad säsongsvariation i en populations självmordsfrekvens är ett debatterat ämne inom många vetenskapliga discipliner. Sociologiska och psykologiska förklaringsmodeller omfattar variabler som tjänar till att mäta graden av Social integrering medan variabler som konjunkturcykel och arbetslöshetsnivå är förhärskande när ett ekonomiskt perspektiv anläggs.Denna studie tillämpar en paneldataanalys för att utröna huruvida det föreligger ett samband mellan svenska självmordsfrekvenser och tre strikt exogena variabler: sol, nederbörd och temperatur. Data är insamlat mellan 1987 och 2004. En säsongsbundenhet i självmordfrekvensen påträffas med olika utseende för norra, södra respektive mellansverige. Vidare visar sig lokala skillnader i vädrets effekt på självmordfrekvensen.

The term ?social competence? is widely used by organizations in job advertisements, despite the problems of making a unified definition of it. The purpose of this study is to investigate which features the organizations require, why organizations require them and how the assessment is implemented for recruitment. To answer the purpose of this study, eight qualitative interviews conducted with recruiters from four different staffing agencies. Further a literature study was performed to define the concept of ?social competence? and its meaning, in order to later connect this to the result.

A Social Enterprise is a business that features a mixture of characteristics that originates from the third and private sector. A general conception of Social Enterprises is that they aim to improve social welfare by the use of sustainable business models. The mixture of social and business features has created ambiguity about how to define Social Enterprises. The purpose of this study is to clarify Swedish Social Enterprises as a phenomenon and to examine antagonism that arises from mixing the two different sets of organisational characteristics. This is achieved by conducting a qualitative study of ten Swedish companies that the market considers to be Social Enterprises.

The purpose of this study was to examine divergences in assessments of social assistance in one big and one small social welfare office in the municipalities of Malmö. To examine this we used a qualitative method. We held interviews with social workers and their superiors. At the end of the interviews with the social workers we presented two vignettes, describing different cases of first time applications of social assistance. The social workers was asked to assess whether the application should be granted or not, and motivate their decisions.

En stor del av Sveriges befolkning över 65 år får sina läkemedel expedierade via Apotekets dosdispenserade läkemedel, ApoDos. E-dos är ett förskrivarverktyg som nu används vid förskrivning till dessa patienter. Införandet av e-dos är tänkt att förenkla hanteringen av ordinationer, att öka graden av automatisering av produktion av doser och att öka säkerheten i processerna. Trots detta så kommer en stor del av ordinationerna fortfarande till DosApoteken via fax.Syftet med denna studie är att öka förståelsen för den underliggande problematik som ligger till grund för att e-dos inte används i större utsträckning än cirka 50-60 % vid ordination av läkemedel till ApoDos-patienter.Studien har ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt där intervjuer med läkare från Kalmar kommun har genomförts. Data samlades in från så väl öppen- som slutenvårdsläkare under ett par veckor i april 2010.Resultaten visar att läkarna tycker att e-dos är ett bra system, som ger en god helhetsbild över patientens samtliga läkemedel.

I följande rapport behandlas ämnet förnyelsebar energi i samband med textila material. I resultatet ges förslag till möjliga tillvägagångssätt för integrering av flexibla solceller i väv- och varptrikå. Alternativ till maskintillverkare och maskintyper redovisas och potentiella användningsområden diskuteras. Även förlag på typ av flexibel solcell presenteras. Teorin vilket rapporten grundar sig på är humanekologisk.

This paper examines, through questionnaire, how young students in upper secondary school in Malmo experience social integration. It also contain what they think should be done in order to improve the integration between youth that are ethnic Swedish and youth that have a foreign background. To understand the subject we started with a review over Swedish integration politic and its influence over Malmo and social integration in the country. We have used such theoretical starting points as identity and ethnicity in relations to the social surroundings, social affinity theory and flexible mindedness, making of groups among youth and factors to promote social integration. Our conclusion is that the experience of social integration between the two groups depends on how you experience yourself.

Redan i 1970-talets läroplan rekomenderades samverkan mellan ämnen. I Lusten att lära med fokus på matematiken (Skolverkets rapport nr 221)skriver de att matematiken sällan ingår i ämnesövergripande arbeten trots att det i Lpo 94 står att eleverna skall få möjlighet till ett sådant arbetssätt. Syftet med denna undersökning är att se om lärarna arbetar ämnesintegrerat med matematiken och vad deras syfte är med integreringen. Vi vill även se vilka ämne och matematiska moment som integreras.Vidare vill vi också ta reda på vad som kan vara hinder och nackdelar för ett ämnesintegrerat arbetssätt tillsammans med matematiken. För att få svar på våra problemformuleringar, intervjuade vi åtta lärare i fyra olika skolor.Syftet med de intervjuade lärarna var att få eleverna att förstå nyttan med matematiken, att man behövde den i vardagen.

Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds.

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka vilken kunskap som krävs för att undervisa barn med autism i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa, samt vad läraren kan göra för att underlätta att dessa barn blir delaktiga och integrerade i grundskolan. De didaktiska frågorna hur, vad och varför står i fokus, arbetet kommer också att beröra hur barn med autism kan bedömas i grundskolan. Vi har använt oss av kvalitativa intervjuer som metod. Intervjuer med sju lärare i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa, som alla har erfarenhet av att undervisa barn med autism, utgör grunden för vårt arbete.Alla intervjuade lärare har påpekat att vid undervisning av barn med autism i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa är det viktigt att vara tydlig och strukturerad. För att dessa barn ska få så bra skolgång som möjligt har det framkommit att det krävs en förståelse och kunskap om funktionshindret hos läraren.

The purpose of this essay was to examine what Ungbo in Kalmar has meant for the adolescent from their point of view and to examine the social workers opinions of Ungbo.My questions were: What expectations did the adolescent and the social workers have on Ungbo? How has these expectations been fulfilled? What expectations does the social workers think the adolescents has on Ungbo? How is the impact of involvement for the adolescents when planning the living environment in Ungbo? What changes has Ungbo brought to the adolescent? What changes has Ungbo brought in the work of the social workers? What does Ungbo mean for the adolescent? What does Ungbo mean for the social workers and what experiences does the social workers have on the importance of Ungbo for the adolescents? How has the teamwork been working around the adolescent during the time at Ungbo?The questions were answered by asking four adolescents and two social workers with their experiences of Ungbo. My study showed that Ungbo was of importance for the adolescents that has been a part of the project, but it is also important in the work of the social workers. The adolescents noticed a change in them selves after their stay in Ungbo. The social workers were positive to Ungbo but they felt a need for others resembling activities in Kalmar..
