Studiens huvudsakliga syfte är att visa hur "sex är rasialiserat och ras är sexualiserat" (Nagel 2003) utifrån queerteoretiska och postkoloniala perspektiv i ett svenskt, offentligt välfärdsdokument. Analysen klarlägger hur konstruktioner av kategorierna sexualitet, genus och etnicitet är oskiljbara i framställningar som förespråkar sexuell hälsa i Malmö stad.Metoden är genealogisk och inspirerad av foucauldiansk teori. Den historiska kontext där uppfattningar om sexuell hälsa och välfärdsbehov konstruerades beskrivs i en historisk bakgrund i uppsatsen. The purpose of this study was to examine how the needs of social assistance for people with substance abuse are assessed in accordance to The Swedish Social Services Act 4th chapter 1§. The purpose was also to examine how substance abuse is assessed as a social problem by social workers, how the municipal guidelines concerning social assistance for substance abuser were constructed in relation to the Social Service Act and finally how social workers made their assessments of the need of social assistance to people with substance abuse in relation to the legislation. The sample was made among the municipalities in the county of Stockholm. Municipal guidelines were studied in 18 municipalities by content analysis. A sample of 11 social workers was chosen from 5 municipalities.

Empirin består avdeltagande observationer och videodokumentation av två personalkonferenser påtemat teori och gestaltning. Materialet analyserades för att undersöka vilka diskurseroch vilka positioner som kan urskiljas och hur de möts.

This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. The theories incorporated in the study are Attachment Theory and Sense of Coherence (SOC).The following results are presented: Social workers are considered to have a more comprehensive understanding of clients compared to their associates who do not hold a degree in Social Work.

In our report we have studied the subject?s social competence, relations, relationship marketing and personal networks and looked to the connection these subjects have to one another.

In the last couple of years changes in the legal systems treatment of young offenders has given the social worker more legal responsibility. In view of this, our purpose with this study was to examine how social workers and prosecutors apprehend the role of the social worker during the legal process. The study was delimited to look into the handling of young offenders between the ages of 15 and 18 years old. The questions we intended to look at were: How do the social workers reason when trying to see the need of a child within a legal context; Do prosecutors and social workers experience that they have different approaches when looking at young offenders, as a consequence of their different professions; What is the opinion among social workers considering the duty of the social services to administrate community service for young offenders; How do the social workers argue when determining whether or not a young offender has a "special need for care". These questions were answered through empirical studies where six social workers and two prosecutors were interviewed.

En empirisk undersökning av lärares uppfattning av begreppet social kompetens med syftet att synliggöra lärares uppfattningar av social kompetesn smat hur de arbetar med social kompetens i skolan. Uppsatsen tydliggör också vilka faktorer som är viktiga för utvecklingen av soacialr och emotionellt lärande som ämne i skolan. Den empiriska undersökningen bygger på nio lärarintervjuer utförda i årskurserna 4-9, med tonvilkten lagd på de högre årskurserna. Resultatet av studierna är att begreppet och arbetet med att utveckla social kompetens hos eleverns ärkomplext. Det finns många faktorer som inverkar på resultatet.

Denna kvalitativa studies syfte är att undersöka, kartlägga och analysera sociala interaktionsmönster kring beslutsprocessen på Migrationsverkets asylprövning utifrån asylbeslutsfattares perspektiv. Genom att luta sig mot teori om beslut inom ramen för administrativt beteende samt teori om ansvarfördelning analyseras empirisk data insamlat med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer med beslutsfattare från olika asylprövningsenheter.Studiens resultat visar att det finns invecklade sociala interaktionsmönster i asylbeslutsfattandet samt att tre kommunikationstyper kunde identifieras; informella, formella och semiformella. Beslutsfattare växlar mellan dessa typer i beslutsprocessens olika steg. Med hjälp av utvecklade sociala kommunikationsmönster, omsätts en tidspressad beslutsplan i handling. Sammantaget påvisar studien den administrativa människans begränsade rationalitet.

Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att undersöka om det ansågs finnas ett glapp mellan teori och praktik i sjuksköterskeutbildningen. Frågeställningarna var: 1. Vad anses vara anledningen till det eventuella glappet mellan teori och praktik i sjuksköterskeutbildningen? 2. Med hjälp av vilka redskap kan studenterna försöka sammanlänka det eventuella glappet mellan teori och praktik? Tio artiklar, som granskades enligt Polit m fl (2001) användes för att försöka få svar på frågeställningarna.

The purpose of this study is to highlight the opportunities of using social media as a communicative tool to attract and engage customers on different social media platforms. In recent years social media has become an important way for business to communicate with people both national and global. The idea behind this thesis was found when we saw different approaches of how companies used social media as a marketing tool. Through a qualitative approach we did eight interviews with six different companies and two social media consults which have given us a basis of what companies really want to achieve with social media. With these interviews we were able to analyze and discuss the abilities to interact with people and how companies distribute content that engage users and increase their credibility to the company..

I tonåren, en tid av identitets- och autonomiutveckling, är förekomsten av problembeteenden normalt och normativt men varierar i grad. Föräldrarelationen utgör största risk- och skyddsfaktorn. Tidigare forskning har haft mindre fokus på föräldraskapets strategier ? nyare betonar behovet av inkludering av kommunikationsklimatet i relationen. Föräldraskapsmönster undersöks i relation till ungdomars problembeteenden för att synliggöra kommunikationens effekter över tid.

This essay focuses on two social workers talking about their working field in the prostitution area in a Swedish city. The study aims to investigate how the social workers talk about their field and clients that are in it through the use of narrative analysis. Furthermore we discuss the complications with qualitative interviews, narrative analysis from a feminist theoretical and methodological point of view. The study is based on an interview with the two social workers. The result reveals only tendencies rather than a general "truth".
