This study is about howStockholm?s policy for zero tolerance of graffiti from 2007 affected the graffiti culture inStockholm. We have researched what consequences there were for the practice of graffiti, and what consequences there were for the stylistic performance of graffiti. In doing so, we have had two focus group interviews and one deep interview including eight graffiti writers from Stockholm. The individuals in the groups have been practising graffiti for a varied amount of time, but we have representation from both before, and after/during the policy of zero tolerance from 2007. Our study shows that the result ofStockholm?s policy for zero tolerance of graffiti for the graffiti culture inStockholmwas a ?subcultureification?, a ?stylistic generalization? and the ?subculture?s ambivalent identity?.

The purpose of this study was to examine social workers apprehensions about institutional placement of youths and what determines when these proceedings are used. When research not always shows that institutional placements lead to positive changes for youngsters, we wondered how social workers act on their assessment to institutional placement. We wanted to find out if the social workers meet any dilemmas along the way. To find out about that we used qualitative interviews with ten social workers, who worked in social service and came from different places in the southern parts of Sweden. To analyze our material we used the theory of human service organization and street-level bureaucrats work situation.

Denna studies syfte är att undersöka och öka kunskapen kring hur hållbar utveckling kan införlivas inom textilslöjdsämnet både inom gymnasiet och grundskolans senare år. Frågeställningarna bestod i hur och varför textillärare bör arbeta och integrera hållbar utveckling i undervisningen. I studien har jag använt mig av både litteraturstudier och intervjuer av kvalitativ art. Intervjuerna har rört textillärare verksamma inom gymnasiet och grundskolans senare år. Intervjuresultatet har bland annat bidragit till att få fram konkreta arbetsmetoder och förslag, som exempelvis att arbeta tematiskt kring textilproduktion, att föra diskussioner kring elevernas egen konsumtion och kring hur man resurshushåller.

This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. The theories incorporated in the study are Attachment Theory and Sense of Coherence (SOC).The following results are presented: Social workers are considered to have a more comprehensive understanding of clients compared to their associates who do not hold a degree in Social Work.

Dimensionerna av hållbar utveckling (ekologisk, ekonomisk och social) är inbördes beroende av varandra och arbetet kring dessa bör ske på alla nivåer i samhället. Då oklarhet kring begreppet social hållbarhet råder inom byggsektorn samtidigt som begreppet är en viktig del i strävandet mot ett hållbart byggande, syftar detta examensarbete till att utreda sambanden mellan social hållbarhet och byggnadsarkitektur åt Skellefteå kommun och projektet Trästad 2012. Examensarbetet öppnar även upp för en fortsatt diskussion kring vad social hållbarhet på en byggnadsnivå kan innebära och konkretiserar den sociala dimensionens inverkan på byggnadsarkitektur genom utformning av en planerad förskolebyggnad i Skellefteå. Arbetet bygger med litteraturstudier upp en teoretisk grund kring begreppen, vilken sedan är utgångspunkten för konkretiserandet. Kopplingen mellan social hållbarhet och byggnadsarkitektur härleds från begreppens förenande i att tillfredställa mänskliga behov.

Skolan har fått i uppdrag att implementera hållbar utveckling i undervisningen. Enligt skolverket ska hållbar utveckling genomsyra all utbildning. För att undersöka hur lärande i hållbar utveckling har implementerats i undervisningen intervjuade jag sex lärare på en gymnasieskola. Lärarna som intervjuades arbetade som naturkunskapslärare, fysiklärare och samhällskunskaps-lärare. Studien visar att de intervjuade lärarnas syn på vad hållbar utveckling i undervisningen innebär varierar.

Syftet med vår undersökning var att studera olika pedagogiska aktiviteters betydelse för utveckling av elevers sociala kompetenser. Vi genomförde vår undersökning i en klass ett. Eleverna var indelade i fyra grupper med fyra till sex elever i varje grupp. Vi utförde övningar under fem veckor som syftade till att stärka elvernas sociala kompetenser. Resultatet vi kom fram till var blandat.

Studiens syfte är att ur ett symbolisk interaktionistiskt synsätt försöka förstå vad som motiverar vuxna amatörskådespelare, amatörsångare och amatörmusikalartister att delta i ideella konstnärliga projekt. Något annat som studien tar reda på är om konstutövandet och gruppen de deltar i har någon inverkan på individens identitet och identitetsskapande. Genom nio semistrukturerade intervjuer skapas en förståelse kring motivationen och identitetsskapandet. Detta förklaras sedan genom motivationsteorier samt teorier kring identiteten, där det visar sig att gemenskapen i gruppen, konstnärlig utmaning och utveckling, deltagandet i den konstnärliga processen, känslan av flow, själva utförandet och dess påverkan på välbefinnandet, viljan att uttrycka sig samt personlig utveckling var de huvudsakliga motivationsfaktorerna. Det visar sig även att både det konstnärliga utförandet och gruppen har en inverkan på individens identitet och identitetsskapande..

The aim of this study is to understand the collaboration at a child investigation and the actions that may be encountered as a result of the investigation, based on the Social Secretaries experiences of collaboration with other agencies such as schools, police, health visitor and child psychiatry. In the study, eight social workers from different municipalities was interviewed at a total of six occasions. One of the occasions was a group interview with three social workers at the same time. Through the interviews, it appears that the collaboration has an important role in social work and the necessity is something that manifests itself in the social secretaries stories but also in the earlier research done in this area. The results show that social workers extensively want to interact but that the purpose of interaction varies depending on the nature of the matter.

Our purpose with this study was to look at the connection between social capital and integration. Particularly if meetings between people from different cultures can increase social capital and in that way affect integration. We start by identifying the social integration perspective we are going to use through out the study and then we introduce social capital theory as a way of narrowing down the field even more. The study was done through six semi structured interviews. We interviewed three women that was established in the Swedish society and three women that had immigration background.

Det har länge varit en del av både nationella samt internationella dokument att alla som arbetar i skolan ska möta alla elever med samma respekt och möjlighet att lyckas utifrån elevernas olika bakgrund, tidigare erfarenheter, intresse och kunskap. I verkligheten fungerar det inte alltid så. Så hur påverkas elevernas akademiska prestation, sociala utveckling och välmående av deras egna tolkningar av lärarens bemötande och förväntningar?.

The purpose is to examine social workers view of vulnerable children and their needs. We are also interested to know how social workers think and discuss concerning the help these children are given. Our main questions in our study are; How do social workers define vulnerable children? Which needs do vulnerable children have according to social workers? Which opportunities and difficulties might there be in the decision making when trying to help these children? Which public authorities do social workers cooperate with? Which opportunities and difficulties do social workers find in the cooperation?This study is based upon interviews with ten social workers in the social childcare division in different municipalities in Skåne region, Sweden. Our results are explained and analyzed with a qualitative approach through different aspects of power- and Human Service Organization theories.

Social media has become an important marketing and communication tool worldwide, mostly through the largest social platforms Facebook and Twitter. With two-way communication via Internet companies has gotten the opportunity to interact and communicate directly with their customers. Facebook has been the focus point through the study because it has shown to be the most efficient and frequently used platform for communication. Our study aimed to confirm how communication via social media actually looks like. To be able to reach the best results, we have conducted the study from a phenomenological approach, which means; usage of qualitative semi-structured interviews to reflect the respondents experience on the phenomenon social media as a communication tool. Social media has shown to be a great way of communicating externally for companies who are willing to spend time engaging in the platform.

I denna empiriska studie behandlas miljöundervisningen för en hållbar utveckling, utifrån fritidspedagogers och fritidshemmets perspektiv. Syftet med studien var att undersöka fritidshemmets syn på begreppet hållbar utveckling och lyfta fram hur fritidspersonalen arbetar med hållbar utveckling. En kvalitativ intervjustudie låg till grund för data insmlingen och resultatet visar att fritidspedagogerna i sin miljöundervisning främst ser begreppet som naturvetenskpligt där de i praktiken arbetade med källsortering och återvinning. En viktig del i fritidspedagogernas arbetssätt var att arbeta utifrån ett socialt perspektiv, där undervisning skedde i diskussion och dialog med eleverna. .
