The study is a qualitative textual analysis comparing how two newspapers fromSmåland reacted to Nazi Germany during the interwar period. The purpose of the studyis to illustrate how newspapers' political orientation may influence its content. Theexamined material is limited to letters to the editor, editorials and columns. The twopapers are of different political orientations, Smålänningen is bourgeois andKronobergaren is social democratic. The theoretical basis is founded in Klas Åmarksperspective on Sweden's position in the war, the so-called small state realistic paradigmand the moral perspective, as well all Kosellecks theory about the written word.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the constructions of sexuality, which are produced when judgments concerning asylum are made, based on an asylum seeker?s sexual orientation. The question formulations are the following: Which constructions of sexuality are produced when necessary condition, fear of persecution due to sexual orientation, is applied in judgments regarding refugee status? Furthermore, how constructions of sexuality differ in the judgments where the asylum seeker has been consented and rejected is investigated. The empirical material consists of 13 judgments, which were announced between the years 2009-2013 by the Migration court.

AbstractThe aim of my study has been to investigate which expectations students at The Hotel and Restaurant Programme have for their futue working life and labour market. I want to investigate if these expectations are important factors that female dominance is large within the meal service sector. I have chosen to do qualitative interviews to discover these expectations.Some explanations that the respondent give for the gender differences within the restaurant and meal service sectors are the old tradition of male and female work. Furthermore the possibility of becoming well known within the market and the possibility for personal development in this market are described as important factors.The answers to my questions show that all respondents are positive to future work markets; also they all want to work within the restaurant sector and not in the meal service sector. The reasons for their choice cannot give a complete explanation to why female dominance is so big within the meal service sector.Keywords: Gender, status and celebrity-hood..

Intervjuer har gjorts med kommunikations- och informationschefer i tre västsvenska kommuner. Deras svar har sedan satts i relation till den demokratisyn som presenteras av Demokratiutredningen samt Gromark & Melins begrepp brand orientation, i uppsatsen översatt till varumärkesorientering. Det är tänkt att man genom detta arbete ska kunna skapa sig en uppfattning om hur elever, vilka huvudsakligen går nionde klass, ser på matematikämnet i relation till sig själva, beroende på vilket kön och vilket betyg de har. Med en kombination av vår egen undersökning, som har gjorts på uteslutande elever som går i nionde klass, och andras undersökningar samt forskande litteratur är det meningen att just dessa mål skall uppnås. Förhoppningen är att detta arbete skall öppna vägar till framtida, djupare undersökningar som kommer att främja matematikundervisning i ett bredare perspektiv för såväl flickor som pojkar. Arbetet riktar sig såväl till lärare som lärarstuderande. Det kan även vara till nytta för alla med ett pedagogiskt intresse för matematik.

Per Wahlöö is one of Swedens most internationally renowned authors with the crime novels about Martin Beck as the crown jewel. His career as a journalist is not that famous. The cardinal question in this paper therefore is whether the social criticism that made his authorship so famous emanates from the journalism he produced before or simultaniously with his work as a novelist. To do so I have used a text analytical method on all of Per Wahlöös journalistic writings between the years 1947 and 1965. The sources have consisted of both daily newspapers, most notably Kvällsposten, and weekly magazines like Veckorevyn and Folket i Bild.
