The world is currently facing a huge severe challenge in handling the issue of climate change. One of the ways to lower the green house gas emissions, which is seen as one of the main contributor to the climate crisis, is to use renewable technologies such as for example photovoltaic (PV) systems. PV-systems are also suitable for so called micro production, small scale energy production facilities, since it can be placed on practically any rooftop with the right solar conditions. In Sweden the usage of PV-systems has not yet gotten any wider spreading, even though the solar radiation conditions are very similar to countries that produce a lot of solar energy, as for example Germany. The aim of this paper is to describe non-adopter perceptions of PV-systems. The study holds a qualitative approach using deep interviews for data collection.

This has for many companies resulted in an increased interest to explore the possibilities of mobile platforms and how they can be integrated in various business areas. As the usage of mobile platforms in industrial applications is a new area, it is difficult for companies to estimate their potential, and what contributions the different platforms can give.This master thesis investigates the possibilities and limitations for the consultant firm Combitech when integrating mobile platforms and handheld devices in industrial applications. This is accomplished through a comparison between the platforms and by considering the possible areas of use for the mobile platforms based on experiences from companies and research in the area.For a company with the intent to deliver services that use mobile platforms, it is important to be able to combine expertise and resources to effectively attract customers. The mobile platforms will, if applied right, give great possibilities in industrial applications as a cost-effective alternative for both hardware and software solutions for businesses, which provides an opportunity to sell services to both established and new clients.

The purpose of this paper has been to examine the ways in which professionals describe their work with pregnant drug-addicts. The paper raises the following questions;· How does the deviant behavior, that using drugs during pregnancy can be described as, affect the professionals in their work with pregnant drug-addicts?· How do the professionals experience their own role, and the roles of other professionals?· In what ways do they work in order to reach a favorable result with these clients?The paper is based on qualitative material, gathered through 14 interviews with professionals. By using theories of deviant behavior and attachment-theory between a child and its mother, our intention was to analyze the empirical results.From our interviews we have learned that the professionals consider some factors as more important than others for a favourable result in their work with pregnant drug-addicts. Such factors are for example the significance of a cooperation between different authorities and ethical awareness in meeting with the client..

When performing a QRA you have to consider a number of accident scenarios. How many scenarios you choose often determines the time and resources needed to perform the QRA. Syftet med studien är att undersöka och förstå hur nyanlända barn samspelar med andra barn i leken när de inte talar språket och hur börjar de lära/utveckla majoritets språket (svenska). För att genomföra min undersökning har jag gjort kvalitativa observationer under två olika perioder: förstudie, minietnografisk studie. Efteråt gjorde jag stimulated recall intervju där jag hade samtal med pedagogerna och jämförde mina upplevelser angående barns beteende och utveckling med deras. Jag har spelat in samtalet med hjälp av en smart phone och sedan transkriberade. Resultatet visar att nyanlända barn i början oftast använder sig av kroppsspråk, blickar, mimik, imitationer och olika ljud för att göra sig förstådda när de samspelar med andra barn i leken. Jag kom i min undersökning också fram till att det tar tid för att nyanlända barn ska utveckla sociala relationer med andra barn och det beror mycket på hur mycket stödd de får från vuxna. Vidare visar resultatet att språkutvecklingen hos nyanlända barn beror mycket på pedagogernas engagemang, respekt till barnets språk, bakgrund och erfarenheter samt pedagoger som behärskar barnets språk och kan kommunicera med barnet på ett mer betydelsefullt sätt..

Uppsatsen undersöker om huruvida en arsenal av kreatörer inom olika kompetensområden kan vägas mot den ensamma kreatörens arbetssätt. Sammanfattningsvis vill vi undersöka kombinationen av de två begreppen kreativitet och samarbete och dessas inverkan på en arbetsprocess inom kreativt skapande..

Historically, the horse has in many ways been important to human beings. Today, Equine Assisted Therapy is a form of treatment in which the horse is used as a tool from the treatment of the client. Supported Equine therapy has a therapeutic purpose and may vary depending on the patient's needs and the professionals work competence. Various studies show that animals have a positive impact on people. The aim of our study was to explore how Equine Assisted Therapy is used within the practical fields of social work in Sweden.

The aim of our study is to deepen our understanding of how both social workers and clients describe how user influence within substance abuse care for adults can work. What difficul-ties do they describe meeting, with regards to possibilities to influence the care? To achieve our purpose we had a qualitative approach for this study. It?s based on open thematic inter-views with 3 clients who have substance abuse problems, and with 3 social workers, working at Social Services in Stockholm.

Idag äger den större delen av befolkningen i Sverige en smartphone, som är en blandning av telefoner och datorer. Med en smartphone är det enkelt att vara ständigt uppkopplad och på så sätt hålla kontakt med människor. Det leder till att vi lever i ett samhälle där vi sällan missar någonting.I den här undersökningen har vi med hjälp av fokusgrupper och observationer tagit del av hur studenters mobilbeteende ser ut. Det insamlade materialet har därefter analyserats för att kunna kartlägga resultatet och på så sätt få ett svar i frågan om hur dagens mobilbeteende bland studenter ser ut. Tre fokusgrupper och tio timmars observation har genomförts.

 This degree project aims at developing a concept for how to use solar energy to pump up water. The target audience is people living in areas where the functioning of the electricity and water network is absent. In these areas, the hand-powered water pump is the most common technology. The degree project's goal is to find an economically viable alternative to the time consuming hand-powered water pumps. The power comes from solar energy.

The aim of this study was to increase our knowledge about how the ?Conversational-contact with the social services? is experienced by the parents who attend it. The research was based on a qualitative method consisting of four individual interviews.Main issues of the study:? The parents experience of the content of the meetings with the social workers? Do the parents experience that the conversational-contact has contributed to some changes in their lives?Results indicated that all parents were positiv to the conversational-contact. Afterwards they felt more secure and stable both as persons and in their role as parents.

Detta arbete beskriver hur man ljudlägger konstfilm, hur man plockar upp ljud vid inspelningsplatsen och hur man ställer ut en flerkanalig ljudläggning av en konstfilm. Sweden's drinking water quality is considered to be high partly due to a high quality of the raw water and a well developed sewage infrastructure. Despite this, there is water contamination that could be prevented by installation of a sophisticated early warning system. Some of the major players in the production of drinking water have already invested in different types of early warning systems to ensure drinking water of high quality. There are various forms of early warning systems where automatic monitoring of E. Coli is an interesting alternative.

The aim with this project was to investigate how research grants in Sweden are distributed inthe selected fields; natural science, medicine and life science. Our client Olink producesdetection kits for biomarkers and our goal with this study was to give an indication of apossible new market area for their products. Three foundations were included in the study;VINNOVA, Vetenskapsrådet (Swedish Research Council) and Stiftelsen för strategiskforskning (Swedish foundation for strategic research). Nearly a thousand research grantswere analysed which included a total of 4,92 billion Swedish kronor. Seven selecteduniversities were contacted; Chalmers tekniska högskola, Karolinska Institutet, Kungligatekniska högskolan, Linköpings universitet, Lunds universitetet, Sverigeslantbruksuniversitet, Uppsala universitet.
