Introduction: A job interview is for both the candidate and the company involved, an importantsituation. It might be tempting for the candidate to adjust the answers to the job in question or what heor she thinks the recruiter wants to hear. This behaviour is a part of what socialpsychology would callimpression management. This term means that you try to control the impressions you send out andaccordingly adjust your behaviour for the current situation.Purpose: Candidates usage of impression management is a widely debated subject where theresearch mainly has focused on the candidates, their strategies and the efficiency of impressionmanagement. Our purpose with this thesis is therefore to see how recruiters experience candidatesimpression management in a job interview, how they handle it and what level of acceptance they havefor it.Theoretical perspectives: The theories and previous research used as models for explanation andbasis for discussion is mainly Erving Goffman´s (1974) dramaturgical perspective and thoughts aboutimpression management and Mark R Leary´s (1995) theories concerning impression managementtactics.

In this report statistics concerning the reliability of sprinkler systems from seven countries has been analysed. The objective of the report has been to determine the reliability of sprinkler systems in Sweden and to present suggestions on measures to increase the reliability. The main conclusion that has been drawn is that the reliability of sprinkler systems in Sweden is 92 percent according to the analysis of Swedish statistics, and that this figure finds support in statistics from other countries. Further results are that the quality of design, installation, maintenance and inspection of sprinkler has to be improved and that the Swedish incident report has to be revised..

Detta examensarbete har genomförts på uppdrag av Försvarets Materielverk (FMV). Det påstås att evaluering av komplexa/sammansatta system är svårt, om inte omöjligt. Common Criteria (CC) är en ISO/IEC-standard för evaluering av produkter och system. Även Information Technology Security Evaluation Criteria (ITSEC) används för samma ändamål. Jag har undersökt vad som är möjligt och denna uppsats beskriver alternativa evalueringslösningar med hjälp av CC/ITSEC, dock primärt enligt CC; där fokus hela tiden vilar på ackreditering av system och produkter inom det svenska försvaret.

In today's information society it is of utmost importance not only to be able to find the right information but also to evaluate the information. The expression ?information literacy? is not a new one but it has never been as pertinent and essential as today. Information literacy is however not something which is easily and swiftly achieved.Swedish youth education is based on problem based learning in which the students are expected to research for material, evaluate their finds and use their skills to produce a good written or oral presentation.

Problem areaAlfa Laval is a world leading company in the heat transfers area and have the vision to continue to be that in the future as well. The company has a lot of press lines where the utilization is high and also has started to become old. Prognosis shows that there is an increased demand of heat exchanger in the future. This increased demand is not something that existing lines will manage. To build new lines cost a lot of money and take time so it is essential that new lines are correct from the start and not need to be rebuilt or a lot of time spent to trim it.GoalThe goal is to achieve 100% theoretical utilization of the press (the press shall press the amount of plates it is designed for).

Bakgrund: Enligt Svenska Bankföreningen (2012) uppgick den utgivna volymen av aktieindex-obligationer på den svenska marknaden under 2011 på strax under 42 miljarder SEK. Framför-allt två specifika händelser låg bakom tillkomsten av strukturerade produkter på den svenska marknaden; förskjutningen av ansvaret för sparande från det offentliga till det privata samt avregleringen av de finansiella marknaderna som inleddes redan under 1970-talet (Lindqvist & Malmström, 2010). Privata investerare lockas att investera i strukturerade produkter av den begränsade risken att förlora hela investerade beloppet, samtidigt som man har chansen att vara med på en eventuell positiv utveckling. Bland annat har strukturerade produkterna fått utstå kritik för deras avgifter och kostnader som är svåra för investerare att förstå (Finansin-spektionen, 2012a, s.32 ff.).Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att ur en placerares perspektiv genomföra en granskning av strukturerade produkters prissättning vid emissionstillfället genom att jämföra produkternas emissionspriser med det teoretiska värdet vi räknar fram för respektive produkt.Genomförande: På grund av den stora bredden av strukturerade produkter, avgränsar vi oss till endast aktieindexobligationerna på den svenska marknaden. Genom att replikera produk-ternas kassaflöden kan vi beräkna respektive produkts teoretiska värde som sedan kan jämfö-ras med produktens emissionspris för att på så sätt undersöka förekomsten av eventuella skill-nader som inte kan hänföras till produkternas arrangörsarvoden.Slutsats: Vår undersökning visar på att det existerar stora skillnader vid emissionstillfället mel-lan det teoretiska värdet som vi har beräknat och de priser som produkterna har emitteras till.

Mobile technology is developing quickly and becomming a part of daily life and communication. Bluetooth Low Energy is presented as a new way of mobile interaction. However there are not enough studies in this field on the interaction between mobile devices and the physical world. In order to understand user needs, and to encourage users to interact, we simulated an interaction process through designing and testing a prototype in a specific indoor environment. Prototype effectiveness and main characteristics for future mobile application was evaluated through a qualitative user study with 20 participants who interacted with our prototype..

Denna examensrapport redogör för en utvecklingsprocess av en webbasserad släktforskningsapplikation, där resultat från släktforskning kan delas av flera aktiva släktforskare. Genom att grundligt undersöka olika datamodeller och befintliga applikationer försöker arbetet säkerställa grunden till en unktionell webbapplikation. Arbetet ledde till en betaversion med begränsad funktionalitet som skall vidareutvecklas i framtiden till ett GNU/GPL projekt med öppen källkod för gratis användning och nerladdning. Målet med arbetet uppfylldes i stora drag, det frångicks dock lite på grund av tidsbrist som uppstod i samband med prototypprogrammeringen..

In order to respond to a more complex community planning with increased cooperation and public participation, a common language and a common model to be used as a base for the communication process is needed. The thesis behind this dissertation for a master's degree is that a virtual 3D planning portal would respond to this need. Why and how are explained and described through studies of communication- and perception theory as well as technology and recent research. The introduction concludes that a broad participation and a transparence towards underlying information are important foundations for the coming work with the model. The first four chapters of the theory part show the benefits of using natural signs in our mixed cultural society, instead of the more arbitrary symbols. Using visual landscapes for storing information is motivated by the flexibility of our visual memory and its ability to understand complex connections.
