Denna undersökning tar sin utgåmgspunkt i det förlag som folkpartisten Cecilia Wikström lade sommaren 2006 om att införa en litterär kanon, obligatorisk skönlitteratur, i skolundervisningen. Undersökningen baseras på fem kvalitativa intervjuer med svensklärare på gymnasiet. Syftet är att se om det finns någon skillnad i det förhållningssätt läraren har i sitt urval av skönlitteratur, beroende på vilka elever det är som ska undervisas. Resultatet vi kom fram till är att det mångkulturella perspektivet inte är något som informanterna i vår undersökning tar någon hänsyn till när de väljer skönlitteratur, trots att Lpf 94 föreskriver att elever ska få ta del av det egna kulturarvet. Slutsatsen är att det förslag som Wikström (fp) lade om att införa en gemensam referensram inte är genomförbart om hänsyn samtidigt ska tas till alla enskilda individers kulturarv..

Purpose: To investigate if Altman´s Z´-score model, which calculates financial distress, can be applied on companies established in Sweden and if the financial crisis in 2008 made previously healthy companies go bankrupt.Methodology: Quantitative studies with a positivistic foundation. Empirical data will be collected in order to examine if there is generalizability among the studied objects. Conclusions will be made by comparing the empirical data with the theoretical foundation. Financial distress in firms will be measured.Theoretical perspectives: Altman´s Z´-score model, designed to predict financial distress in private firms.Empirical foundation: A selection of 93 private firms that have gone bankrupt in the years 2008, 2009 or 2010. The firms selected all have a turnover that exceeds 20 million SEK.

Syftet med denna studie är att, med hjälp av ett urval tillväxtvariabler, analysera hur det kommer sig att länder rika på naturresurser generellt uppvisar lägre tillväxt än länder som saknar naturtillgångar. It is therefore appropriate to examine the role of suchfactors. This study examines whether experienced trauma in childhood or religious beliefsinfluence the assessment and selection of input in fictitious cases. To examine this created sixvignettes.

The aim of this thesis is to describe digitization of images in two Swedish museums. We want to examine their reasons to digitalize; the administrative and organizational aspects of their work and how they handle the problems of preservation and access to the digitalized images. These problems will be examined through our main questions: Why do the museums choose to digitize their image collections? How are their work organized in terms of staff and economical matters? What kind of software do they use, and which technical solutions do they choose? Which preservation and access strategies for ensuring long-term preservation and access of the digital images do the museums work with? How do the museums select material for digitization? How do they handle the matter of discarding of materials? The study was conducted both by reading text material and interviewing personnel at the two museums. The museums? main reasons for digitization seem to be to protect fragile materials from deterioration and provide greater access to the collections.

The purpose of the study is to contribute knowledge about the representation of fiction authors who have written in languages other than Swedish in educational school books within the Swedish subject. This is done in relation to the school's promotion of cultural diversity, a globalized world and to the Swedish curriculum. The study is a combination of a qualitative and a quantitative analysis that takes its starting point in six educational books for the courses Swedish 1 and 2. The analysis shows that all study materials include a broad representation of authorships from Europe and the USA. The selection of authors from other parts of the world is, however, limited.

IP-telefoni etablerar sig alltmer i takt med teknologins framsteg men tekniken har och har haft svårigheter att etablera sig på marknaden då människor av olika anledningar inte väljer att använda sig av IP-telefoni. Detta examensarbete försöker reda ut de faktorer som påverkar kundernas beslut att välja byta eller att inte byta till IP-telefoni. Här diskuteras den teoretiska bakgrunden till acceptansen av ny teknik, i det här fallet IP-telefoni. Studien bygger på en kvantitativ metodansats där ett urval av boende i Stockholmsregionen har besvarat ett frågeformulär. Resultat av denna studie visar på några faktorer som påverkar kundernas beslut när det kommer till valet av telefoni.

The aim of this thesis was to understand and illuminate how readingpromotion projects can be carried out, what sort of activities they mightcontain and what sort of lasting impressions they might make. We choseto examine reading promotion projects because we consider thepromotion of reading and literacy a vital and important part of thelibraries work. The study took place at the city library of Uddevalla andthe projects included in the study were all directed towards children andyouth.The theory used in the thesis was Aidan Chambers?s model of theReading Circle which consists of the four themes of selection,?reading?, response and the enabling adult. Methods used were semistructuredinterview, document studies and observation.The results show that reading promotion projects benefit from cooperationbetween the adults involved and that education of the adultsin order to indirectly target the children is an effective way of spreadingthe love of reading.

An increasing number of scholarly publishers are beginning to make their journals available electronically. At the same time there is a growing amount of exclusively electronic journals freely accessible on the Internet. These are facts that librarians have to take into consideration.This master's thesis aims to describe the electronic journal and its role in Swedish academic libraries. In a review of current literature about electronic journals, the authors discuss their strengths and weaknesses, and their impact on scholars, publishers and libraries. To investigate the situation in Sweden, a questionnaire was sent out to 43 academic libraries.Questions were raised about the selection and acquisition of electronic journals, access, technology and economy.The results show that almost half of the 35 responding libraries offer electronic journals to their users.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vilka som får representera de tyskspråkiga ländernas befolkning i några läromedel i tyska. Undersökningen fokuserar på hur aspekterna etnisk tillhörighet, funktionshinder, kön, religion och sexuell läggning skildras i läroböckerna. Arbetet ger en översikt av tidigare forskning, främst rörande läromedelsanalys, med inriktning på de valda aspekterna. Med hjälp av textanalys har jag undersökt fyra olika läroböcker i tyska för grundskolan. Sammanfattningsvis förekommer få skildringar av personer med annan etnisk tillhörighet än tysk i de granskade läroböckerna, ingen med annan sexuell läggning än heterosexuell, endast en funktionshindrad och religion förekommer mycket sparsamt.

The purpose of this dissertation is to examine and present six different texts produced by the Sweden democrats. This examination focuses its attention on the content and the technique of the arguments present in the texts. In addition, the results will be put in relation to the steering documents for the Swedish school system. The aim is to observe common features regarding content and technique present in the texts. More specifi-cally, I will examine how the texts produced by the Sweden democrats pose a problem to the Swedish school system.

Vi lever i en tid med pågående klimatförändringar och med reducerade tillgångar av naturresurser. En ökad källsortering kan bidra till en minskning av problemen, genom att vi återgår till ett mer kretsloppsanpassat samhälle. För att öka källsorteringen kan det krävas vissa attityd- och beteendeförändringar. Genom en enkätstudie med slumpmässigt urval av personal på Landstinget i Östergötland och Linköpings universitet, undersöktes deras nuvarande attityder och beteende gentemot källsortering. Resultaten visar att trots att majoriteten tycker att källsortering är viktigt, källsorterar de ändå inte i tillräcklig utsträckning i enlighet med Miljöbalken och EU: s avfallshierarki.

 Becoming an adoptive parent is not always easy. There are positive and negative factors affecting the parent?s experience. The aim of this study is to examine being an adoptive parent to an internationally adopted child based on association, parenthood and ethnic belonging. Frame of interpretation consists of attachment and separations, parenthood and family and ethnic origin and belonging.

The study has been conducted to find out whether aesthetic expressions and experiences can benefit the smallest children's language development. How do the teachers at the preschool relate to aesthetic expression? Do they think that aesthetic expression and experience will be favorable for stimulating children's language? Children perceive through their senses, logically aesthetic expressions should promote children's learning and development. How does this claim stand in relation with the smallest children's language development and teachers' views on aesthetics as a pedagogical tool for language stimulation? To get closer to the answer a survey have been done.

This Bachelor?s thesis consists of two parts; one with prefabrication (prefab) in focus and thesecond part includes detail design of a house project. These parts are linked together by designingsome parts of the house project as prefabricated.The focus section investigates how prefabrication can act time-, costs- and environmentallyeffective to a building project. This is investigated by combining literary sources with sourcesbased on reality in the shape of interviews. The result of the investigation is that prefabcould acteffectively on previously mentioned factors,if this way of building is used in a proper way.The detail design of the house started in a residential area with a new local plan in Huddinge,named Sjöängen II.
